IF I GOT DOWN ON MY KNEES
-------------------------------------------------- AND TOLD YOU I WAS YOURS FOREVER
Two weeks, six days, twenty three hours and fifty one minutes.
Simi knew down to the wire how much time had elapsed since Ryder had walked out of her parents house and out of her life. It was funny how rational a person could be when everything else seemed to be coming apart at the seems. She was quiet sure that she couldn't have named the color of the shirt she'd worn yesterday but she could describe in intense detail everything he'd had on that day and the way it had clashed with Cristina's own outfit. She knew because she'd taken refuge in petty sneering on more than one occasion in order to make herself feel better. So sue her. She'd never claimed to be perfect.
To be perfectly honest, she kind of felt she deserved a medal for not snatching the woman bald and shoving her straight back to where ever it was she'd come from! Really, she could have been much more vindictive right? Right! It was her story so she'd tell it like she wanted it.
And now.... Now it had all come down to this moment. A moment where she was leaving behind everything and everyone she knew to take up some stupid job in some stupid foreign place in order to give that stupid woman a chance to build the stupid life she'd stupidly wanted for herself. It was almost enough to make even Shakespeare happy, had he been alive to write a damned tragedy!
Yeah, her life really freaking sucked at the moment. If only she could become an ostrich and bury her head in the sand. Oops, scratch that.. With her luck, she'd probably be the ostrich that sunburned her ass. Nah, it was just better to deal with it and hope that the Karma gnome came back to bite someone really hard on the ass when it was all said and done.
As one of the airport busboys helped her with her bags and she kissed her mother and father goodbye, Simi James held back the feeling of brutal finality that threatened to swamp her. Although a brave smile trembled on her lips, it was only sheer will that made her let go of her parents and wave them off reassuringly. Her mother fussed and eyed her with concern while her father glowered at every person in the place and the young woman was wondering if they were going to physically see her on the plane.
"Of course I'll call as soon as I touch done in Athens, Mama... I'm sure that the limo will be waiting and I will be perfectly fine alone...There really, truly is no need for you to be concerned.” she said for the umpteenth time, repressing the urge to roll her eyes and glower at her mother.
Even with all her reassurances. Simi almost had to shove them bodily from the hall before turning and heading off in the direction of her own plane. She knew that the fact that their baby girl was flying so far away by herself bothered them and Lexi was not at all happy with her decision but really? What else was she to do? She needed some time to think things through without being so intimately near to the scene of the crime. There were new circumstances to be considered and how could she even hope to get a grip on her life if she was constantly reminded of a man who was no longer able to be a part of her world?
Shaking her head warily at the thought, Simi made it to the counter of her flight and handed her ticket to the woman. Once it was scanned and handed back, the slender blond tugged her roll away over to a seat and stared out across the darkening runway. Rain fell down in raging torrents and the wind seemed to howl with an almost supernatural tremor. It was almost as if the elements sensed her distress and cried out their own despair to the gods.
Oh Happy Happy Joy Joy! This outta make for a pleasant flight.
Slumping down into the cushion, Simi felt hot tears flood her eyes as the reality of what she was about to do filled her. In just mere minutes, she'd be boarding a plane that would take her thousands of miles away from the only man she'd ever truly love. Away from the man who's stolen her very soul with his loving and left her with an aching emptiness that no other would ever be able to fill. Part of her wanted so badly to hate him but she couldn't. All she wanted was to feel his arms around her and to here three little words rolling from his lips.
Which had about as much of a chance of happening as hell freezing over. Par for the core.
From nearby, the sound of an intercom announcing her flight rang out and the fragile looking blond startled a bit. Glancing upwards at the gate sign, she saw her number roll over the screen and the voice announced again that it was time to board.
As the airport hussle and bussle went on around her, Simi mentally ticked off all the reasons she needed to stand up, grab her bag and get on the plane but her rear end felt as if it were glued to the bench. A feeling of desperation swamped her and the room seemed to gray slightly around her. Struggling to breath, she reached for her carry on but couldn't seem to grapple it. Panic seemed to infuse her and clarity hit her in the face like a ton of bricks.
God... She didn't want to get on that plane.

Ryder had been driving through the night, but he still wasn’t completely sure this wasn’t a dream or some sick joke being played on him. Hell, lately his life had been one sick joke, and he was beginning to wonder if the angels and demons hadn’t gotten together and were watching from somewhere afar and betting on the exact moment he would crack. As far as he was concerned, he had cracked about two weeks ago. He was just holding himself together enough so that his ribs didn’t give way and let his insides come falling out, which would make it even harder to present a courageous face for his family and friends, as well as the woman he’d brought back from the dead. After receiving the photo message from Simi, the young hunter hadn’t even bothered to go home, or call Cris, let alone any one else save the blonde witch who still had his heart on a locket chain around her neck. Despite the fact that she had been avoiding him; which was understandable, the middle Winchester could swear every time the woman let her thoughts wander to their intense relationship, he could feel it as a forlorn pang in his own chest. His hand went there now instinctually; rubbing at the ache, though it did nothing to ease the severe throbbing in the vacant chasm. There was only one thing that would relieve that ache, so he drove, even though he had no idea where he was headed. Pure impulse moved him in the direction he needed to go.
After several unanswered calls to Simone’s cell, Ryder went through his phone book calling everyone who could explain what the message had been about or where he might be able to find her. Most of them were just as baffled as he was, or purposely keeping the information from him on account they were trying to save her more drama and heartache, which was infuriating the man, though he really could understand. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt her more than he had, but he wanted…no needed to see her now, or he felt as if he would lose her forever.
Call it instinct. Call it a man that had truly only given his heart to one person despite words and pacts and promises. The only thing that Ryder knew or felt right now was that he needed Simi in order to breathe. To live. It was the blonde that had resurrected him when he’d been nothing more than a soulless walking corpse. It was her that had placed the sun back into the darkened sky. It was her. It had always been her.
Finally, after what seemed like hours of driving and phone calls that led him nowhere, Ryder got a hold of Tammy, who at first was just as stubborn as the rest of them. Finally, when the young hunter broke down confessing his mistake and his desperation to find her, the woman had admitted Simi’s feelings and her plan to go to Greece. And then she dropped a nuclear bomb on him. His witch. His life…was pregnant. She’d been planning to tell him at Christmas; that is until the unimaginable had happened. Ryder couldn’t breathe, and his heart stopped beating and he nearly swerved into oncoming traffic in the opposite lane. It seemed too surreal. It felt like suddenly the mist he’d been walking through the past few weeks had parted and his true path was relieved. It felt like a miracle.
Funny…the only reason he hadn’t left Cris without a word during the night was the fact she was carrying his child. Lately though, the hunter had begun to wonder if it was honestly true. Call it that same instinct that had him driving without real direct towards his love, but the baby that was now growing within Simi’s belly was more real to him that the brunette woman that slept next to him and called herself his fiancée.
Finally the tawny haired hunter arrived at the airport in New York and having found her flight information on his iPhone, he was running toward the gate faster than he had ever moved in his life. His heart was still; reluctant to beat again until he could see her. His eyes saw nothing but her face, and there were several disgruntled airport customers who pulled themselves up from having been knocked over by him on his way to the gate.
At last he saw her flight, and a laugh tore itself from his lips. It was a maniacal laugh, really, for the man thought he would go crazy without seeing her again. But it was not meant to be. Ryder was stopped at the closed doors leading to her plane and pointed to the window where a plane was just ascending. He was too late. He was a moment too late…
Ryder ran to the window and put a hand to the cold glass, watching the airplane rise up like a dragon soaring into the clouds. The dragon had his love within its belly, and he felt as if the misery would consume him right then and there. Blurry eyes, the man looked around at the staring faces, wishing…hoping that any moment now those damned hell hounds would show up and drag him away…because he had just died inside.
“No…Simi!” Ryder sobbed and fell to his knees, unable to pull his stormy eyes away from the clouds that had devoured the aircraft stealing his woman away. “No….” The man broke down then. He cracked. The howl rocked his body and echoed through the terminal and he couldn’t stop. He would never be able to stop.

IF I GOT DOWN ON MY KNEES
-------------------------------------------------- AND TOLD YOU I WAS YOURS FOREVER
It was funny how pivotal moments in a person's life gave them instant clarity to what was truly important. When everything was stripped away to the bare basics and you knew not what you could live with.. But what you couldn't live without. As hard as those moments where, they were infinitely necessary for some people to pull their thick skulls out of the sand and administer the swift kick in the pants that the idiot needed.
There in that busy airport, Simi found herself a recipient of such a moment. Only instead of a swift kick in the pants, she felt as if someone had punched her right in the gut.
Suddenly, everything came into clear perspective and she wanted to bang her head on the nearest wall at her own stupidity. She probably would have done it too if she could have moved from her seat on that wide, uncomfortable airport bench. Maybe there really was a god watching over the poor fools of the world because she figured she could certainly be classed in that department at the moment.
WHAT THE HELL WAS SHE DOING???
Closing her eyes against the acknowledgment of her own cowardice, Simi dropped her head into her hands and let the tears roll. As the silent river flowed, she let go of her rigid control and accepted her own fault in the diabolical that had left her life in shambles. Ryder wasn't the only one at fault for the happenings and Simi now realized that by forcing this chasm between them.. She'd unwittingly given that other “woman” home playing field advantage.
For christ's sake... She'd practically handed her man over to her gift wrapped and on a silver platter!!! How much STUPIDER could she have been?? Ry had never knowingly lied to her or made her promises that he didn't intend to keep and she'd tossed him to that wolf bitch without a second thought.
Ok, well maybe there had been thoughts but she could only plead temporary insanity!
Instead of allowing him his say, she'd walled herself up behind a crap load of wounded pride and told him to go away. Sure, she'd had the right to her hurt and anger but instead of letting it work for her.. She'd allowed it to put a gap between them that she wasn't sure could be bridged. Would he ever be able to love her again after how she'd acted? After he'd put his heart... His very LIFE on the line for her? Hell, she'd be lucky if he didn't slam the god damned door in her face when she went to find him.
And find him she would. If they were over, then he was going to have to tell her face to face. And may the heavens pity that bitch if she got in her way. Simi was done playing Angel. It was time to bring on the devil.
The bitch was going DOWN!
As the tears finally stopped flowing her sobs gradually changed to a soft chuckle and then a laugh. With her thoughts completing the 180*, the little blond felt as if a load of misery had been lifted from her shoulders. Ok, so maybe things weren't solved yet... About as far away from it as possible, really... But she felt better than she had since that night. She had a plan of action at least that didn't include crying her eyes out and acting like some sort of ninny.
Leaning back, she thumped her head against the terminal wall and then sighed. Damn, she'd always considered herself a smart person but she was seriously going to have to be rethinking that after how long it had taken her to come this far. With one hand, she reached up and brushed a lock of hair back from her face and wiped at the left over traces of tears.
A huge wagon of bags and luggage whirled by her but she didnt pay it much mind except when she saw her plane begin to taxi down the run way. For a long moment, she stared at it blankly before smacking a hand over her mouth with a hoarse little gasp at how close of a call it had all been. If she'd had this revelation just minutes later... She'd have been on that plane and have lost any chance at happiness she might have had.
Thank god for small miracles.
Taking a deep breath, Simi realized that she probably looked a mess but didn't care. She was quiet sure her mascara was smeared, her nose red from crying, and her eyes darkened by circles but simply couldn't be bothered with the knowledge. There would be time enough to remedy that once she called her mother and asked her to come back and pick her up.
Getting to her feet, she picked up her carry on and had started towards a bank of phones when the luggage train suddenly moved out of the way and gave her a clear view of the long window banks. What she saw made her close her eyes in disbelief only to open them to the same sight.
What on earth?? Surely she wasn't seeing what she THOUGHT she was seeing... No... It couldnt be.
Blinking rapidly in effort to disprove the mirage in front of her, the petite young woman took a few, wobbling steps forward as if drawn by something she couldn't see.
“Ry?” she whispered, even though she knew that he couldn't hear her above the din of the busy airport.
And then the howl broke from the kneeling man's lips and Simi's own soul lurched. She'd know that voice anywhere and the pain inside it broke the ragged control she had on her own emotions. He'd come for her only to discover that she was already gone and it was obviously killing him. If she'd required proof of his love... That was all she needed.
To hell with Cristina. To Hell with the demon. To hell with whatever asshole thought he was going to take her Ryder away from her because of some godforsaken deal. That wasn't going to happen. Not now.. Not ever. He was hers and she'd kill anyone who tried to take him from her.
He'd come for HER.
And now it was her turn to save him.
Stumbling forward with legs that trembled, Simi didn't even feel her bag slip from her shoulder and thud to the floor. She had eyes for only one person and it was the man shuddering with soul shearing agony. Before she knew it, she was on her knees beside him and tears once again fell upon her alabaster skin.
“RYDER!!!” she choked out, placing her palms on both side of his cheeks and forcing his face towards hers. “BABY, I'M HERE!!! I'M HERE, RYDER!!!PLEASE DON'T... DON'T CRY.... I PROMISE... I'LL NEVER LEAVE AGAIN IF YOU JUST FORGIVE ME MY STUPIDITY.....I'm SO.. SOOOOOOO SORRY.. I"ve been a COMPLETE FOOL!!”
Then, leaning forward, she pressed her lips hard to his in a kiss meant to impart every feeling she had within her soul for him. She could only hope he would read and understand it.

The pain was excruciating. Ryder wasn’t exactly sure if the hellhounds hadn’t started tearing him apart and he just couldn’t see them, because the suffering was that was starting in his chest and then radiating through his body was absolutely killing him. He’d really fucked up this time. He’d just let the love of his life slip right through his fingertips. God! How dense could one person really be?! In the past few weeks with Cristine, the young hunter had come to realize that no matter how much he had once adored the woman, it was nothing compared to the absolute love he felt for his Angel, Simi. He had given her his soul, and in turn, taken a piece of hers... The enchanting woman had turned him into a hero when it was probably the only thing that could have saved him from the damnation he had put on himself; the only thing that cured the guilt and grief he’d permanently condemned himself to.
And that was the kicker. Yes, he had loved Cristine once. Young and foolish had asked her to marry him because being young and foolish; they had let a miraculous accident happen. But the grief and guilt and utter torment he had gone through those months after he’d had to kill her weren’t because he had lost a women he couldn’t live without. No. Neither was the deal he had made. It was plainly a result of the responsibility he had felt for letting those horrible things happen to her and the baby. And having to take her life after they’d occurred, not knowing if the baby had survived the vampire infection. Maybe if he’d warned her about what he did-- what was out there-- it never would have happened.
But none of this mattered now. Ryder knew he wasn’t in love with her. He loved only one woman and he loved her so fiercely, being without her now was worse than death. Open up the pit and light the fires. Whistle for the hell hounds and bring them on. God…what in the hell had he done?
Ryder’s body was trembling violently as he moaned in misery and the sound of the angelic voice behind him only added to that suffering. Now he was hearing voices? Perhaps having seen the broken man crash like a tormented child, the demon that held his contract saw him less a Winchester than his father and had decided that he didn’t want him. The sound of heaven grew closer and the hunter glanced upwards to see if the ceiling hadn’t opened up to reveal the cloudy Eden, and some winged celestial being wasn’t reaching out pale arms to pull him up.
The young Winchester felt his seraph before he saw her. The connection that they had always shared; the one that had never been severed despite the circumstances and the distance, suddenly exploded in his chest as a soothing warmth that dulled the ache within immediately. The feel of Simone’s hands upon his face deepened that comforting sensation. Ryder looked into her sea-blue as if he was staring at something miraculous, and for an instant; the hunter forgot why his chest had been aching at all.
He heard the words and the apology, but Ryder couldn’t fathom that she was really there; holding his shattered pieces together and acting as if this had been -her- mistake. All the man could do was shake his head in negation, but when the angel’s lips found his, nothing else in the world existed beyond the feel of her mouth against his and his arms winding around her and the taste of her tears on his tongue.
Ryder pulled her closer and into his lap, kissing her with everything he had inside; the anguish, the fear, the revelation, the devotion. In herkiss he imagined he could feel those very same emotions. Both spirits; having been wounded by the expanse between them, were growing stronger, brighter. A thin radiant filament of silvery silk that was attached to his heart soared out of his chest and sank into hers, winding its way around her intensely beating organ.
Pulling reluctantly away from her lips in order to catch his breath, Ryder lifted a hand to her hair, pushing it out of her tear stained eyes. “Simi…what are you doing? You’re gone. To Greece….” He shook his head and a hopelessly relieved smile stretched over his visage. The fingers in her golden strands fell to her cheek, and he became lost in her eyes. “Please tell me I’m not dead or dreaming. Are you really here?”

IF I GOT DOWN ON MY KNEES
-------------------------------------------------- AND TOLD YOU I WAS YOURS FOREVER
The moment Simi felt Ryders arms slip about her and pull her on to his lap, she felt as if the whole world were suddenly right. God how she'd missed his touch.. his kiss... His whole self. If she had her way, he'd never be doubting who he belonged to again. Even if she had to tattoo her name right across his forehead so that he saw it every time he looked in the mirror.
Actually, come to think of it.. Maybe that wasn't such a bad idea.... Food for though at a later date...
She was definitely going to have to see about putting her mark on him for the whole world to see. He was hers and she wanted the whole world to know it. Oh, maybe their problems weren't all solved. Maybe they still had issues to work out. But as long as they were together then they would find a way to slay their demons.
Quiet literally if need be.
Besides, what woman could resist a man who would chase her half way across a country just to keep her from making the stupidest mistake she could ever make? How he'd found out where she was, she didn't know but he'd definitely had to have put some effort into it. There weren't many people who knew that she was about to board a plane and she had no clue where he'd been before he'd started for New York.
Just that realization only made his presence more profound to her. Who cared if he'd been a few minutes late. He'd came and that was all that mattered. To her, it was everything she needed to prove that she was the one he truly wanted and needed.
Let Cristina take that and smoke it in her little peace pipe!
Wrapping an arm around his neck and hugging him as if she would never let him go, the petite young woman cupped his cheek and felt a slow, bright smile spread across her face. A joyful little laugh sprang out of her chest but she couldn't seem to stop kissing him long enough to get any explanations out. She was just so stunned.. so … happy that he was here that she was half afraid it was some kind of a demon trick and if she quiet touching him for just half a second.. He would disappear.
Oh yeah... She was definitely twitterpaited over this man. Love was the only explanation for the topsy turvy emotions that were currently tap dancing across her heart.
Finally pulling back and allowing him to get some words out, Simi beamed up into his cobalt eyes and gave a soft laugh. Reaching up, she tucked a long blond tress behind an ear and tilted her head as she looked at him.
“No Ry.... Your not dead and I'm exactly where I'm suppose to be... doing what I'm suppose to be doing... Technically, you could say that I'm suppose to be on that flight that just took off but... You see... there was something I forgot.” she said softly, caressing his cheek. “Theres this wonderful, amazing, gorgeous man who has my heart, lock, stock and barrel and I'm afraid that I'm just not capable of living without him. So... I've decided to quit my running and come back to fight for whats mine.....That is... if he still wants me..... ”
Biting her bottom lip as she watched his expression for reaction, she waited for a moment before continuing.
“Besides....I've got something else to tell him and I'm kind of hoping that he'll be as happy as I am when he finds out. It wasn't exactly planned but I had been hoping to tell him on Christmas before everything went to hell in a hand basket.... You see... We made a miracle between us and hes' going to be a daddy... Actually.... We made two little miracles and I think its only fair he stick around to deal with the trouble they will do doubt make....”

Ryder stood up slowly, taking Simi with him as her arms were wound around his neck and his around her waist. His Angel’s happiness was a corporal thing; coming off of her smooth pale skin in bright waves of warmth and white light. At least that’s what Ryder saw, or felt, or tasted…ambrosia, yes. She even tasted like heaven. And he couldn’t stop kissing her. His mouth and his fingertips had been mourning the loss of her lips; her skin under the rough pads. It was a sensation that rushed from his lips and his palms through to the very center of his body. Grounding him. Waking him. He had been moving through days and sleepless nights as a zombie more ways than one.
Zombie or a man bound for the early grave, Ryder was glad he had stayed alive long enough to hold his angel again. Mesmerized by the blue shade of her eyes, the young hunter couldn’t wipe the dimpled grin off of his face. Should he feel guilty for being so certain of this? He never really had to choose between Simi and his newly risen fiancée because he had never let his witch go. He was a man bound by duty, and he had been supportive of a woman who had once tried to kill him. A woman he had brought back from the dead even after her attempt on his life. A woman whom he had traded his soul for in order to live again.
The demon that held his contract may hold his soul in a jar, but at least he had been able to return his heart to the one he loved. Simone James had his heart. He listened to Simi’s words and couldn’t fathom that she could ever doubt his want for her, or the fact that he needed her more than he needed the air he breathed. Just being near her, keeping a possessive hand around her hips, he felt his broken soul healing; as if she were the only balm it had ever needed. His stormy blue-grey eyes fell to her anxious lip nibbles and he chuckled quietly, his head was so stuck in the clouds he felt light-headed. “I want you.” Ryder murmured in response, tilting his head and flashing his sheepish dimple. “I’ve never stopped wanting you.”
He shook his head and bent down to press his mouth on her pouting lower lip, kissing away the worry. Ryder thought to himself that he would like to steal her to some wild, exotic place , just for now, just until he could kiss all her trouble away and prove how very, very much he wanted her. And he had forgotten the very thing that set this reunion into motion. The photo text. The phone call to Tammy.
The young man’s heart stilled within his chest; the echo of its thundering pulse loud in his ears. His brow creased for a moment in confusion, and his bewildered gaze dropped from her virtuous face to her belly; suddenly noticing the gentle swell that hadn’t been there before… “Simi…” Ryder couldn’t find the words around his tongue. Couldn’t find the reaction beyond the image of Simi and the first night they had spent together and the way her body fit perfectly around his. He let out the ragged breath that had been building up in him and suddenly his heart exploded into life. It was nearly painful; that explosion, but it only helped him realize he was alive. He was really alive.
“Oh god, Angel…” Ryder lifted her gently off her feet and spun her in a slow circle, putting her down reluctantly only to wrap his hands around her waist and drop down in a crouch before her. “Wait…did you say two? Two babies…I’m going to be…a dad?”
It was nearly too much for the young man to take. He was going to be a father. Twin babies to hold. And a woman that loved him enough to bear two babies for him. “God I love you so much Simi….” Ryder told her, and pulled her close to kiss her again. And again. And…he was never going to stop kissing her.

IF I GOT DOWN ON MY KNEES
-------------------------------------------------- AND TOLD YOU I WAS YOURS FOREVER
It was funny how all those clique sayings could actually be applied to moments in real life, Simi thought to herself as she stared into her lovers beloved face and held on to him for dear life. Life truly wasn't about the breaths you took but it was about the moments that took your breath away. That all lifes trials made those rare glimpses of true happiness worth living for. Lyrics assured them that heaven was a place on earth.
For Simi, that heaven was in the middle of a crowded airport with her slightly tarnished knight coming to slay her dragons. It was the stuff of modern day fairytales.
In hindsight, Simi wasnt quiet sure when the tears of joy started but somewhere between Ryder's assurance and his amazed wonder when he spoke of the babies, she felt them trickle once more down her cheeks. This time though, instead of heart break, they were filled with love, happiness and hope. The twinkling laugh that escaped her when he twirled her around lit her sapphire eyes up like gems and all the emotion she felt for him shined there for the whole world to see.
“Yes... your going to be a dad.” she chirped, deliberately avoiding mention of another baby that would make its presence known before theirs. “And if they are anything like their father, I'm sure that they will keep us both busy. With James AND Winchester blood, they are bound to be into one mess of trouble or another. I'm sure I will be white haired before I'm thirty with the way they will get into things.”
Reaching up, she threaded her arms about his neck but a serious look spread over her face.
“But... Ryder... What about Cristina? What are you going to do about her? I can't share you and I won't. Theres no half way measures here... Your either mine or your not... Don't ask me to share you because I'm afraid I'm not that strong....I've discovered I have a bit of a possessive streak when it comes to you and I won't tolerate another having those parts of you that I consider mine.... Mind, heart and body...”
Biting her lip, knowing she was being brutal honest, she none the less squared her shoulders and met his gaze with a level one of her own. In her heart she truly had no doubts of his love but on some level, she needed to hear him say the words. She didn't want anything assumed between them that would come back to bite her in the ass.
“I love you Ryder.. and I want to spend each and every moment we can together... I'm willing to fight for you if I have to and I will walk through the fires of hell to free you from this damned deal... But I swear to god if that woman lays one flipping finger on you.. I'm going to snatch her bald and give her warts. I don't care if you loved her once or not.... Shes not a very nice person and not even I'm angelic enough to turn the other cheek again...JUST SAYIN!!”
As she waited for his response, the pretty blond pulled back just a bit and realized that they had an audience. People all around them had stopped to stare and their excited chatter brought a crimson blush to her cheeks. One lady went so far as to nod approvingly and shout "YOU TELL HIM, GIRL!!" and another gentleman grinned knowingly at Ryder and gave a cat whistle.
Immediately, Simi dropped her face into his chest and wondered if this would make the six oclock news somewhere. All in all though, she couldn't be sorry in the least.
"And.. Can you PLEASE get me out of here before I embarrass myself further??"

Simi's handsome husband, the love of her life and father to be of twin hellions. As the middle Winchester sibling, he's been through hell but his love and loyalty to his family still remains true. Hurt any one of them and come hell or high water, he'll hunt you down.

Ryder smiled against Simi’s lips; felt her smiling too, even as they kissed one another until they were breathless. It had only been a few weeks, but the hunter felt as if it was the first time he had touched the angel, and his hands found themselves running the length of her arms, up her neck, tangling into her golden strands, the gentle pad of his thumb wiping a fallen drop of rain from her cheek. “Two babies…” he whispered, amazed as the lithe blonde pulled back to confirm her previous confession, and Ryder couldn’t help but laugh in wonder when Simi went on to declare the trouble they were both bound for considering their family lines. For the flawless, singular moment the young Winchester pushed fear for the future deep down in his soul; away from the shining pride and the glowing happiness that had resurrected his cold and empty core.
He had even forgotten about the woman waiting for him, for the only one that mattered in this remarkable moment was the one standing right before him; her eyes blue like the sea even as the gravity of her coming question drew storm clouds across their reflection. The name of the waiting one drew a wince from the hunter’s lips and he lifted a hand to rub awkwardly at the shorter hair on the top of his head; loathing the name for stealing the sun light out of his lover’s gaze. “You’re not going to share me with anyone…” Ryder answered softly, a quiet grin displaying the reticent dimple once more.” Except with them.” And he dropped that upward rubbing hand to her belly, drawing a fingertip across the lip of her skirt. His stormy blue-grey eyes lifted to hers and the honesty in them was intense; a solid thing you could almost reach out and touch if his chest were open and his soul laid bare. “I’ll have to explain it to Cristina. If she really loves me…she’ll understand I have to live every moment I have left like it might be my last one. I’m not going to abandon her…or the baby.” The latter word was said in a bit of a murmur, and unbidden, his visage darkened with uncertainty. “If there really is a baby at all…”
Simi centered herself before him; beseeching his whole attention, which she had anyway, but Ryder cleared his unfocused gaze and smiled at her with his eyes and mouth. She had grown even stronger in his absence, and damn, it only made him want her more. The harsh words she was declaring about his ex-fiancée were just that; ruthless, but they drew a quiet chuckle out of the young hunter nonetheless. Ryder hauled the blonde angel into the cage of his embrace, the quiet whispering laughter growing into a chest shaking chuckle when the crowd watching broke into applause. Oh, he was going to get her out of there already. Somewhere they could make up for lost time. Somewhere they could hide away. Somewhere warm and exotic.
Chewing on his bottom lip in a boyish expression despite the certainty in his gaze, Ry gripped Simi’s hand and tugged her down the foyer until they came to another gate, this one, bound to Hawaii. “Come away with me…just for a few days. So we can clear our heads. You need to rest….I need to…” The hunter leaned in, catching her chin in his palm so he could devour her lips again, which he did. “I need you.” He finished, gasping and searching her face for a reaction. “You’re already packed. I can get what I need once we get there…come on Simi. Lets live…”
