( OUTFIT ) here Okay, so maybe living off of just Skittles wasn’t possible. Sure, it was the nectar of the gods, but Kota - as much as she might like to be - wasn’t a god. Nope she was just a drab old human. Well gifted human. Hell she wasn’t really sure what she was, but then again to Kota it didn’t really matter. She rocked no matter. She’d get the big sister of the year award to once she figured out how to make Savvy well again.
Kota would do it too. As the older sister it’s her responsibility to take care of her younger sibling. It didn’t matter that she was only just a few minutes older. Older is older is older. At least according to Kota. She had to do whatever she could to help Savvy get better.
At this particular moment in time it meant that Kota needed to get some noms. Food was essential for brain power and Kota needed all of that she could get. She found herself in Austin, Texas, standing just outside the Libertas. It seemed more bar than restaurant, but the aroma of something wonderful was coming out of the doors. It made her stomach growl, crawling at her from the inside out. Yup, she was hungry. The only problem:
Kota had no money.
Reaching into her backpack she opted for a potion that might help with that. It wouldn’t make the green stuff magically appear in her hand, but it would make people less likely to notice her, which meant that hopefully Kota could snag some food and get the hell out of dodge before any rednecks tried to shoot her ass for thieving.
However she did have a spell, that mixed with a potion would hopefully make it so that no one paid any attention to her. She learned her lesson with trying to actually go invisible last time. It ended with her being naked in the middle of a convenience store that was being held up.
Never again.
No, this was more like camouflage, though her skin wouldn’t change colors. Basically someone could look at her, but not notice her. At least that was the general idea. That didn’t necessarily mean it was going to work. Kota had serious problems as of late with spells and potions backfiring. She hoped that this one would work long enough for her to get some grub in her belly.
After speaking the world softly and downing the red, swirling potion, Kota fixed her backpack over her shoulder and slipped inside the bar. There seemed to be a lot of people milling about, and while someone looked at the door when it opened, no gazes lingered.
It was working!
Taking that as a good sign, Kota went up to the counter, waiting to see if anyone would ask to take order. After a few moments of nothing happening, she reached over, grabbed a plate, and one of the domed pie holders. Licking her lip she unlidded the one filled with thick blueberries at it’s center.
This was going to be the best meal she’d had in weeks!

Tammy wasn't exactly sure why she was here right now. She didn't need to be there. She was so on top of her work load and she didn't have any shifts, there wasn't a delivery and there was literally not a single reason for Tameryn Rawley to have walked into Libertas that evening. Her husband just didn't know that.... He was currently sat at home with the two children the couple shared, under the impression it was imperative that Tammy made it to the bar this evening. She wasn't even sure what she was going to do when she got there. She just knew she would do anything to get out of the house.
Despite not feeling very motherly at all lately, when her eldest child handed her Aurora, the pale scruffy bear her father had bought her on her first day of life, Tammy took it gently and kisses her little girl goodbye before stepping out into the early november cold. Pulling her jumper around her, cuddling the bear to her chest, Tammy walked the small way to the bar. She probably could have justified a car journey but she liked the chance to walk, to clear her head. She let herself become blank. Nothing but the wind around her and the sound of her shoes clicking against the floor.
It wasn't long before Tammy was walking through the doors to the bar, her eyes scanning the room the same way she did every time, her eyes going straight to the girl attempting to steal pie. Maybe it shouldn't have, but for some reason, it made Tammy inwardly chuckle. Maybe it was the blood that ran through the second youngest of the Rhys Damara children's veins that made her immune to whatever it was this girl had done. It was when she realised that no one else was seeing it that it seemed to click into place.
For a moment, Tammy felt the need to play along so she moved and sat beside this girl. For a moment she looked in front of her, placing the bear on the bar and fixing his arms and scruffing his ears. Still not acknowledging her, Tammy looked forward, tilting her head. "You know... I could be wrong... But most bars aren't self serve....."

( OUTFIT ) here “Holy crap!” Kota had not expected someone to talk to her. She had just placed the fork into the scrumptious looking pie, but the unexpected startle caused her to flick the fork, the prongs catching in the crust and flinging the pie upwards - directly to the ceiling, where the gooey innards stuck, only bits and pieces falling back down to the counter.
The red headed girl looked at the brunette with wide eyes. She folded her lips in, looking somewhat sheepish at having been caught. “Well uh, yeah see I know the owners.”
It was as good a lie as any. Bits of pie kept plopping onto the counter. Kota leaned back in her seat trying to avoid getting any of the blue goo on her. She looked at it mournfully, knowing that was supposed to be her epic meal of the weak. Now she was back to Skittles, not that she was complaining, but she was going to have to hit up a store and steal some of those too.
She imagined the potion wore off, yet no one else was looking at her. At the pie that was suddenly on the ceiling yes. They gave the area suspicious looks, as though they were wary there was something going on that they weren’t quite sure about. It made Kota feel uneasy and shifted a bit in her seat, looking back to the brunette.
“Uh yeah, so that whole pie on the ceiling thing it’s all the rage. New decorating scheme.” She tilted her head watching the brunette’s expression. “And you’re not buying any of this are you?
Kota scratched her scalp beneath her red locks, and crossed her arms over her chest. Somehow she was pretty sure she couldn’t just come out and ask how this brunette chick was able to see her, but considering the looks the area was getting from the other patron’s Kota figured it was time to go.
“Right so I’m just gonna-” She pointed from herself to the door so that the woman would get the idea before hopping off the stool. Hopefully she could act casual and split before a whole crap load of people noticed her.
This was going to be the best meal she’d had in weeks!

This was... beyond funny. She clearly freaked the girl out, her eyes flicking up to view the pie encrusted ceiling. For a moment, the only thing that crossed her mind was the possibility of it staining. Was she forever going to have a blue stain on her ceiling? Would it even be blue or would it be that inky purple color?! How many coats of paint would it even take to cover that and would you have to paint the whole ceiling so you didn't get that vulgar cover up circle?! It was as the lie this girl told hit Tammy's ears that her eyes moved back to her. Her eyebrows rose slightly and her face turned up into a grin. She knew the owners? Well that was funny, Tammy had never met her in her life, she was a stickler for faces and this was one she wouldn't forget.
The more she spoke, the more entertained Tameryn became. Then she suddenly mentioned the fact Tammy wasn't buying this. The urge to say 'you think?' was over whelming, but this girl wasn't really giving her a chance to talk. She didn't mind. In a house filled with eight children, the shy and retiring one very rarely got a chance to talk anyway. It wasn't until this girl went to leave that the young brunette spoke up, standing to match her movements. "Wait... Don't go..." Tammy wasn't even sure why she was stopping her but she was. "You know the owners right? There's no reason to leave... After all... I'm guessing they wont mind...."

( OUTFIT ) here “Well yeah, I sorta kinda do know the owners,” But not really. Kota smiled at the brunette warmly anywho. Adjusting her Jansport, Kota looked up at the mess she had made on the ceiling. Even if she did know the owners, somehow she doubted they’d be less than thrilled about the food slowly dripping down.
If Kota’s own parents had seen that they’d probably have made her get on a ladder and clean it up. With a toothbrush. They were very cleanly people her folks. Of course they were dead now. Still she had no desire to run into the actual owners, or staff who was consistently looking around trying to figure out who had flipped blueberry pie on the ceiling.
“Still since I don’t feel like being their maid for the day and cleaning up blueberry pie, I’m gonna blame it on a ghost, let them call the Ghostbusters, and skedaddle.” She jerked a thumb towards the exit again. “Seriously though watch out. That stuff might come tumbling down at any minute and you’re near enough they might blame you. “
Kota grinned at the brunette once more. “Good luck with that.”
She gave a wave. “Nice meeting you though. Strange little brunette girl.”
