Come, break me down [/blockquote] ****************************************** The coffeeshop was sort of full at the moment Jillian arrived, with Ipad in ears and no less than 10 books in between arms, she waited patiently for her turn, the line was moving slow but she had nothing better to do, it was her week off and she was in town to visit her sister, whom she idolizes but their relationship every since Jillian developed powers had been on edge, she was here now in Texas determined to put all those days behind, her sister was pregnant and she wanted to be there for her and her future niece or nephew. Old rock music was blasting in her ears and she began to mimic her favorite song “Sympathy for the devil” but the Guns and Roses’s version with her eyes closed, and every few sentences she opened an eye to move ahead or not. Finally, it was her time to order, as she placed all the books over the counter and took the Ipad from one ear, she looked at the board behind the employee, some behind her began to whistle and some were right down calling her names for taking that long to order; without turning around “I was here before you and I had to wait longer than you…now SIP IT!!!” Wearing a smile she looked at the employee and ordered “White peppermint cappuccino expresso” Looking up and addressing to the one behind her “Happy now?” The employee behind the counter couldn’t help but to snort a laugh, Emily looked at her “I hate stupids so early in the morning, sorry!” She didn’t reply back but in the way she looked back, Emily knew she understood; Emily took the money and payed but wans’t careful when she turned around because she didn’t realize how close the other costumer was and if it weren’t for the top, her coffe would be all over the other girl’s blouse, what did fall were the book that Emily had in hand, while she was picking them up as fast as she could “I am so sorry…it’s redundant to say that I didn’t see you…” But her face went red suddenly when the other girl was picking up a book and giving it to her, that read on it’s over “Pyrokinesis, the craft of control it”

Eurgh it was stupidly early!!! It was far to early to moan about the size of a queue but the people behind her apparently didn’t see her point of view on things and continued to bitch and complain. Chey on the other hand felt like her brain was dribbling out of her ears. She should not have had that late night lock in. She wasn’t sure why he body then decided to reject sleep but it did. So Chey now had a plan. Coffee, cake and checking in on her lover! Chey herself had wanted to punch the guy behind her as he bitched the blonde who didn’t quite know what she wanted but when she stood up for herself, she saved Chey the energy that she didn’t really have to spare right now. The blonde had finally ordered and as they made her drink Chey ordered two large black coffee’s and a bunch of donuts. Chey had handed over the cash and moved to wait for her drinks when someone charged straight into her. She was about to complain about the fact when she noted the selection of books on the floor.
Grumbling, Chey bent down to help this girl collect her books, reading the title on the front of a book and frowning. Surely that was careless if nothing else? She frowned and handed the book back to its owner or at least reader. “Don’t worry about it, I like being attacked first thing in the morning!” You’d be a genius to know that the pretty brunette currently wanted to die or at least beat her own head to death. “Light reading I take it?” Chey couldn’t not be polite, her momma would beat her upside the head and she was far too hung over for such a thing. Could this girl really be a fire starter? And was it wrong that it really peaked the little Winchester’s interest?? [/blockquote]

Come, break me down [/blockquote] ****************************************** "If you'd only knew that I can bring down a whole building in flames by touching the right wall on the right place in a matter of seconds..." Emily thought as she wore a smile looking at the girl in front of her, as politely as she could and trying to emulate the fact that she was actually nervous "Is for a college thesis..." Slowly took the book back and getting up, she tried to balanced everything in hand to extend her hand to the brunette "I'm Emily Parker, my friends call me Em..." Truth be told, Emily barely had friends and the ones she had were witches or psychs, like Allegra or her coven's matriarch Patricia. She needed to be around "normal" people, her plan was to stay in Texas for the birth of her niece/nephew and that was over two months away; staying at her sister's was great when someone was with her too. Flashing a huge smile again, she balanced the things in hands again and looked around kind of lost "Would you tell me how to get to the library from here? I', rather new in town and I don't know my way around yet, it took me almost 30 minutes to get here..."

The girl before Chey told her the occult book was for a college thesis. She shrugged gently. It was a good excuse really but Chey felt it was just that, an excuse. After twenty one years as a Winchester you got a good feeling for liars. However Chey also liked to believe she had good instincts and this girl wasn’t tipping her radar too much so she gave her a chance and as the pretty blonde extended her hand, Chey took it and forced the typical Chevrolet cheesy grin towards her. “Hi Em, I’m Chey!” Chey didn’t have the cruel bone in her body really and this girl didn’t believe it. Chey wore the name Winchester but really she was a Braeden. So much like her dear mother it was uncanny and yet the same could be said for her being about her father. Maybe she just the best of both worlds. Emily asked Chey for directions and Chey just rolled her eyes. “Really you’re never going to get to the Austin library if you don’t know your way around.” Pulling all her stuff together, Chey looked at the clock. “I tell you what, I’m illegally parked but if you give me a minute to move my bug ill come back and show you the way. Yeah?” The bubbly brunette waited for a reply before running out the front and pulling her bug into a disabled spot, pulling out her fake badge and putting it up. Okay yeah so that wasn’t much better than being parked up illegally but it was less likely to get her car towed. Since when were the Winchesters law abiding. Once she’d parked her car, Chey locked it and left one coffee in the cup holder. Honestly, she was more than likely going to have to get another but it didn’t really matter did it. Moments later, Chey was back at Emily’s side, sipping her coffee gently and motioning her head in the direction they needed to head. “So, in need of more books for…. You thesis?” It was conversation right? [/blockquote]

Come, break me down [/blockquote] ****************************************** Emily was a bit shaken by the brunette, who claimed to be named Chey, one odd name for a girl but, she wasn’t to criticize, she was the least person to critic, after she came to her powers, the layer of gray had much more shades than usual; after Chey’s affirmation that she’ll get nowhere if she didn’t know her way around “So I’ve been told but Austin ain’t New Orleans” Emily replied and flashed a smile, Chey looked at the clock and back at Emily and for a split of a second she thought that Chey would turn her down and give her the mere instructions but when Chey offered to walk down there with her even though she had a car, Emily’s smile got wider “OH thank you so much! Yes, I’ll wait right here!” Whoever this girl was, just became Emily’s savior and a possible friend, reaching out to the glass, she saw how she was getting down and placing a badge on the front, Emily’s eyes opened wide, could she be an officer of the law this young? Well, maybe she looked young but wasn’t; Emily herself was never given the age that she had, which sometimes was a good thing. Moments after she had Chey beside her, the brunette motioned her head to a side while sipping coffee and Emily followed smiling softly. Walking out the door, Chey had made a question; Emily shrugged slightly and tilted her head to a side “Yeah…” Coughed twice and straight her head up “Paranormal activity and the psychological effects through history such as the witch trial in Salem and the effects that witchcraft still has in society”Emily smile realizing what she just said, she sounded like a true College student, though she’s never being nowhere near one, looking at Chey “May I ask something?” While waiting for her response they turned around a corner and yet another important Avenue came in sight “You bought 2 coffees, am I keeping you from going to see someone?”

((I make purty later))
Chey knew that honestly it was easier to walk the many back streets to the library than it was to drive there. Besides it was better for the environment and all that jazz right?? Chey had asked if the books were for this girls thesis and she'd given an answer that actually made Chey kinda start to believe her. Chey had been doing this far to long. When you're raised to shoot first, ask question later and trust no one its hard to believe someone simply on the merits they give themselves. Chey knew most of the people that she considered herself 'friends' with her entire life but there were still quite a few of them she could say she couldn't completely trust. Emily asked if she could ask something. Chey never got that, you were asking something in asking surely. Chey's eyebrows rose slightly as she waited for the question, hearing a question about her second coffee before looking down at her lid with a slightly goofy grin and a blush to her cheeks. "No you're fine I was just going to go wake my boyfriend..." - eh Chey was still getting used to that word.
