With the food ordered, Ellia sat back and relaxed.
She let her eyes roam what she could see of Jill again. It'd been a long time since she'd even really thought about getting together with anyone. After her last real relationship had ended a year or so ago, Ellia just hadn't had the drive to go out and re-enter the world of romance. Of course, that relationship had been the most serious of her life, lasting three years, and she could admit that, probably, she just wasn't really over it yet. Still, she was genuinely interested in Jill, and that realization gave her hope.
Maybe it was time to dive back into the whole dating scene after all...
"Oh, you'd be surprised how much food I can put away," Ellia told Jill, laughing softly. "I may be small, but I've been known to put guys three times my size to shame when it comes to pigging out. Drinking too, in fact. I have an incredible tolerance for alcohol."
What she didn't tell her newfound friend, though, was that the reason she could eat so much so easily was because of her particular gift. She had to eat a lot when using her powers, because for whatever reason, they'd burn through her so quickly that she'd find herself wasting away if she didn't have enough to fuel it. Of course, this also helped her keep her girlish figure, which didn't hurt. After playing all day--even though she'd kept the use of her power to a minimum, mostly using it to just project an aura of relaxation and comfort--Ellia knew she'd have to refuel, or suffer the consequences.
"So," Ellia said casually, changing the subject. "You have a boyfriend or something?"
