Physically loving her? Well her head would have had a field day with that one had she heard it. She'd always called it sex. Sex, shagging, fucking, doing the freakin' vertical tango, but while other's refereed to it as making love, she never quite got it. A lot of people held out having sex for the sake of love, for their wedding night or for the one. Eddie knew it'd probably sound better if she'd said that before Sebastian she was a virgin for those reasons, but she also knew she'd be lying. The truth was that despite having had so many chances to just jump into bed with a guy, it never felt right.
Eddie didn't crave love. She knew a lot of girls her age did, but she had it coming at her in bucket loads every single day. Between Mason and her Dad it over whelmed her. Being a twin gave her someone that loved her absolutely completely but never had to tell her he did, because she just simply knew. They were telepathic, sure, but it was blood and not magic that made their bond so amazing. Her family had to love her completely, and they did, and because of the things she'd done, she never expected anyone else to love her again so it didn't matter.
So her reasons.... they weren't to do with love. They were to do with security and safety. Someone who made her feel special, even if she was just simply another notch on the bed post, someone that made her feel beautiful, even if they were lines they used on every other girl, and someone that she felt she could trust to treat her with care and compassion, even if they were just trying to get their rocks off. Bastian had been all those things and more. She may have been hasty to give it up, and sure there'd been a little bit of alcohol in her system, but it hadn't been a stupid decision. She'd thought about it a lot, and she was sure she'd get all those things she craved from Sebastian.
The next morning, waking up beside him, that was the first time Eddie realized she liked him. A lot of people could say it was just euphoria, that post sex lull, but Eddie realized that she'd liked him from about the first moment she saw him. Something about him gave her butterflies. It excited her. It made her feel comfortable enough to flirt with him shamelessly, stretch her legs across his lap and steal his beer. The fact he stayed was the reason she put effort into him. She cared what he thought of her. She didn't want him to think badly of her and she never saw him sticking around 3 days let alone more, so she didn't want to be known for morning breath, bad hair and her inability to cook.
Yet here she was, a week later, her body practically tingling from the chance to be near him once more. These were things she couldn't explain, no matter how hard she tried. She'd never had these feelings for anyone before. Oh and undressing him... That was doing so much to help those feelings... Her heart was a mess in her chest and her stomach was fluttering about like no mans business. Everything just felt right with him around. He got to her like some kinda drug, with a more addictive high than anything she'd ever known. A big part of her feared the parts she hid from him could take this away but a bigger part of her clung to the here and now like it was all she had. Was she crazy to think a guy like this could ever really, truely be hers??
Even his words, cocky and ego-tastic, made her heart long for him. So few guys could be THAT big headed and not sound like total jerks. Maybe it helped a little lot that he had quite a bit to be cocky about. She could tell he was trying to get her to notice him, showing off the fact that he had an amazing body and a tattoo collection that would make most girls weak at the knees (and most mothers cry out in sheer horror). She'd smiled down at him none the less, the fact he wanted to show off amusing her greatly. He'd said that he guessed he needed to lose his jeans and boots too.
Eddie lifted her body gently, not so subtly placing her hands inside the waist band of his jeans, her body bending as she lifted them and clearly peeked inside. Her blonde hair covered the body she'd spent the previous moments adoring before flipping back to her original position and looking at him, pointing down. "Those will never do! You realize that right?" For a guy that was... how do you put this?.... hung like a horse, he didn't wear the right underwear for stripping down to the bare necessities. "Annnnd I'm guessing you didn't bring your togs either?!"

~He is the darkness to your light~As they gazed at each other, his eyes staring into hers, Sebastian could not help his hearts increased beating. It was as if he was on a hunt, as if he'd been running for miles, his life in danger, him doing everything he could to survive, yet all he was doing was lying still. The pounding threatened to burst through his chest, not that there was reason for it, and it wasn't a feeling he'd been familiar with until he'd met Eddison Ackers. He hadn't ever expected to be lying on a beach, relaxing, but feeling as though he'd just finished a marathon. His gaze flicked over her flawless face, down to her perfect body, unmarred by anything, and his hand stroked her back as if she was as fragile as china. And, when compared to him, catching just a glimps of his heavily tattoo'd body, the scars, cuts and scrapes lining his skin, she was that fragile.
He couldn't help but think back to where he'd been for the past four days, what he'd been doing. Away 'on business.' But not 'business contracting' like he'd told her. His job required less suits, less brain power, less deskwork, and more guns, machetes and brutal bar brawls. Hunting...being a hunter...it wasn't an easy job, but it was one he was good at, and one that needed doing. Very few people in the world had what it took to behead something that looked human, or pump a vampiric child full of bullets. There were times he struggled, but he knew what happened if things were allowed to live, he knew what happened if monsters were free to roam the night. But it didn't change the fact he was a killer, even if he was doing it for good reason. And doing it for a good reason didn't make it any easier to tell her what he did.
Just mentioning it...he risked too much. How could she look at him the same, knewing he could kill without second thought, worse, made a job out of it. How could she live knowing that every time he went away, it was to slaughter one creature or another. Then, even if she could take that, even if he could tell her, he would bring an entirely new element to her life. She'd have to know that every time he went away, there was a chance he wouldn't come back. She'd have to know that death was always possible, and that there were times he'd come home in a far worse condition than he left. There'd be times he'd return to her and demand they leave instantly. He was good, but things could go wrong. Things could come home with him. And he wasn't sure he could risk endanging Eddie. The less she knew about what he did, the safer she was... or so he thought.
Not that, in the long run, it would probably matter. He knew his heart beat like a drum for her, so loud he was amazed she couldn't hear it, but he had no idea how her heart beat for him. She was so much younger than him...how long would it take for her to realize that someone younger than him...closer to her age...with more in common...how long would it take to realize someone like that might make her happier. Someone who didn't have secrets to keep. Someone who wasn't a killer. That is why he couldn't tell her... he didn't know how long he had with her as it was. He couldn't...wouldn't...didn't want to lose her already by telling her what he was.
Her sliding her hands down the front of his pants brought him back to some kind of conciousness. His semi-frown quickly turned into a smile again, dark thoughts cast from his mind. His eyes shot open, dropping them to his jeans. She was lifting the fabric, and moments later, she dropped her head, fanning long blond hair out over his body, looking down the gap she'd created. She suggested his underwear 'wouldn't do.' He figured pretty quickly that she meant something about him wearing underwear unsuitable for beach use, but he figured he'd interpret it another way, namely to make the both of them smile
“Well, I don't have togs, but if these boxers won't do, I guess I could always go...” he paused for a moment, for comic effect, and then glanced both left and right quickly, as if he was searching for something, “...commando.”

His heart definitely wasn't the only one beating off the scale. She almost felt like she couldn't breathe or that her stomach could rebel at absolutely any minute, yet there was a calm inside her that told her she wouldn't, she'd be fine for as long as he held her. Her hands seemed to run over his chest and torso gently, as though her hands were scanning him and committing every image they saw to memory. Truth was she already pretty much knew him by heart. She closed her eyes while he was away, and all she could see was him. She probably could have taken a piece of paper and drawn him without making very many mistakes, which was, considering the intricacy of the tattoos that covered his body, quite remarkable. The only thing she'd ever known this well was her brother, and maybe the Pokemon them tune, so it was simply amazing to her.
She felt that maybe she should try and deny the feelings she had for Sebastian, like they were too soon, too much, too intense, but she knew that she couldn't. It was no longer possible. How could she deny herself something that made her so happy? Something that, despite the tattoos and the scars and the cuts and scrapes was... perfect. Her hands had noticed the way his heart was beating as they brushed over his chest. Maybe he didn't know that hers was beating just as hard and just as fast. Maybe, despite knowing his was, she was glad of that fact. She didn't want him scared away by the fact the silly little high school girl was falling way too hard, way too fast. She knew what the intensity of her heart beat meant, she didn't know what his did, and had she misinterpreted it, she'd probably spend the rest of her days embarrassed.
Eddie liked the way he held her like she was fragile. Very few people had ever treated her that way. Maybe her father, but once she started taking to waves like a demon, that slowly faded away. When you saw the girl scream at someone like a banshee or throw a right hook into someone's face, it was hard to believe she was in any way delicate. Foul mouthed and mardy, but never delicate, despite the scared little girl that hid behind those actions. Maybe Sebastian was blind to the person she was, or maybe he saw who she really was, she didn't know. All she knew was he could break her so easily, yet she trusted him to never do so.
To say that Eddie knew Sebastian was a hunter was a lie. She definitely suspected. He had a lot of the tells. Eddie had spent a life around hunters, her mother and father doing everything they could to ensure their children were safe from anything that could ever harm them or want to use them in anyway, and whilst there was a lot of that world she was blind to, there was also a lot that she knew better than any other 'regular girl'. Well as regular as a girl that could blow up things with her mind could ever be. Honestly though, she didn't understand his reason's for keeping it from her. Maybe despite what she could do, he doubted her knowledge of his world, that was definitely an understandable reason. Maybe he just didn't want her to have to be a part of 'that part' of his life. Whatever it was, she'd find out his motives eventually. Right now she just found it quite funny that he kept up this facade.
Eddison couldn't help but feel she'd become way too accustomed to laughing in this last week. He had this air about him, a cockiness and a sense of humor she'd never experienced. While she'd love to take him up on the offer to go commando, he knew that wasn't what she meant just as well as he did, and while she giggled away, her hand delicately slapped his arm, her soft but strong Aussie tone slipped out with her words. "Oh shut up, you know what I mean!" She was determined to hold onto him, even if it was just for tonight.
Looking out into the distance for a moment, Eddie tried to work out how long it'd take for them to get down to the shops and quite weather it was worth it. The gentle lapping of the waves behind her were just begging for her to move him, force him to move just that little bit further away than she'd anticipated walking and they whispered to her that it would be so worth it.

~He is the darkness to your light~Staring at her, Eddison Ackers, her bronzed skin and blonde hair framed by the waning sun, he wondered just what it was she was thinking. Were her thoughts taking long, meandering paths through 'could be's' and 'would nots', or were they, like his, focusing only on the present, the 'here and now', everything that was around them superfluous to what it was that was between them in the moment. He hoped, with all his being, that they were, because to him nothing seemed more important than the unspoken feelings that passed through lingering glances and soft feather touches of stroking fingertips; those things that could only be marred by too much thought.
Idly, he lifted a hand from where it lay, taking a strand of her hair, winding it a few times around a long, slightly beaten finger, small cuts and scars etched into the skin as if they had always been and always would be a part of him. He savoured the feel of her silken locks against his flesh, and then lifted his hand further, palm open, to brush gently over her cheek. It made him smile, more genuinely than before, where he'd been grining for reasons linked to humour. This smile was different, barely tugging at his lips, warm and sincere; almost adoring. It was a true reflection of she made him feel, of how he felt for her.
His reverie, one entered caused by merely looking at her, was broken when she spoke again, telling him that, frankly, his going commando was not the solution she'd had in mind when she had said his boxers would not do. Smirking, he could only shrug. It was, to him, the most obvious solution to the problem, and the one that maybe the most risque; thus the most fun. But following her gaze, that had moved from him, he noted a line of stores just closer than the horizon, no doubt selling all manner of beach wear, plastic spades, sunglasses and inflatable aids. Looking to it obviously, so she knew he'd seen it, he shrugged again.
“I mean, if you want me to go buy togs, I guess we could walk all the way over there.” To make his point that it was far further than he wished to walk, he fourished his hand in a random direction, not really pointing to anything specific. “Or...a better idea...I could just strip off, and we could try and run to the waves before anyone notices I'm stark naked.” A foxy grin passed his features, causing his eyes to narrow playfully. “I mean, I know which I'd rather do, but I think it's got to be your shout.”
Wiggling his hips a little beneath her, as if trying to get comfy, he leant forward to nuzzle her nose. “I mean you've got a towel already, and we can share that. When we get out the water, you can come first, retrieve it for me, and I can wrap myself up before anyone sees me, right?” Another nuzzle followed, with an added nip of the tip of her nose, taking soft skin between white teeth. “C'mon...it'll be fun.”
And it would be. Running around giggling, trying to cover themselves like naughty children, splashing about in the low surf. It sounded almost fairy tale like, which...well...was one of the only way he could describe his relationship with her. Thus, while such an act would seem out of place if suggested to another woman, when speaking to Eddie, it seemed like a perfectly good idea; almost natural.
“Hell, we could even make it more fun...” he reached around her back and flicked the knots in her bikini, as if to undo them, but stopping himself before they came loose. “We could both go commando and try and go unnoticed.”

Eddie's ice blue eyes fell back down to him quickly, noticing the way he looked off in the direction she'd been looking. She could swear before a sound left his lips that he was was far from keen on the idea, so when he simply shrugged, Eddie's eyebrows quirked upwards slightly and waited for the words that would follow. Oh he was good, smart and so ridiculously manipulative in the way he spoke. Her head began to shake gently, smirking as she watched him. He knew he was going to win as well as she did. He made the idea seem like the only one that actually made sense but still informed the little blonde that it was 'her shout'. A laugh escaped her, her head still shaking gently at him.
Before Eddie even had the chance to speak, she could feel Sebastian wiggle gently beneath her. Her jaw dropped a little as she just looked at him, closing her eyes with a huge grin as his nose nuzzled hers. She drew both her lips in, wetting them quickly with her tongue before biting them together gently and listened as he started speaking again. Had she mentioned she missed him?? She was sure she had but it couldn't help but cross her mind again. Even just being able to breathe in the smell of him and listen to his voice or that laugh that, no matter why he was laughing alway seemed to sound slightly dirty.
Eddie had been so distracted by the sound of that voice, that she'd let herself become completely taken by surprise as he nipped her nose. Insanely girly giggles gave her the slip, and her eyes opened, locking onto his face again. She didn't doubt it'd be fun. She doubted her ability to resist the man beneath her though. He knew he was going to get his own way as well as she did. She could tell by the way he spoke. He was so certain of himself. Then he did what she hadn't actually expected...... he suggested she joined him in taking to the water without anything on.
Leaning forward, Eddie delicately pressed her body against his, her lips pressing against his for a moment before she pulled away, whispering "Fine." with a mock exasperated sigh. The words were, however, quickly followed by a smile that had to show him the idea excited her. Her head moved quickly, her hair flying from side to side as she checked for anyone that might have been around, before her lips moved quickly to his again, her hands moving under her. Her body shifted gently as her finger tips gently fiddled with the buttons to his jeans and quickly tried to remove them.
"You know, I've never actually... done this before." She said, giggling as she realised she'd have to remove his boots before she was going to get any further. She held up a finger to indicate she'd be a moment and quickly turned her body, still sat on the same area and reached forward to pull off his boots, his socks being thrown to the side quickly after. While she was already there, Eddie moved to push his jeans the rest of the way. Maybe she leaned her body a little too far forward, and maybe she wiggled her ass a little more than was necessary... but hey, she got the job done didn't she?!
