A BRIEF CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Acacia Caldwell, or as most would call her, was pretty much the prime example of how you could turn out after years of abuse. Some people get angry and cruel... Kaci? Kaci became shy and retiring, scared of her own shadow. Really, what Kaci always needed was someone to not take care of her, but teach her to take care of herself.... In Kheelan Phelps, Kaci felt she'd found both. He took her in after finding her scared and alone, his intentions might not have been honorable, but Kaci found it impossible to doubt him until the day he put a knife into her best friend. Despite wanting to believe the best in him, she couldn't seem to, but finding out the truth, even though she knew it should, didn't make her want to leave. She believed in someone that was honest with her, someone that said she loved him. Everyone told her she was wrong to believe in him but she couldn't help her, something told her to trust her instincts. She was right to do so but it took almost dying to prove it. He did whatever it took to save her... She just didn't know how much she would hate it until after. It took him two weeks and discovering a hex bag in her purse for him to confess he'd offered the life of his first born to a witch... Bad news for them was she was already pregnant... with twins. Twins that no matter how hard they tried, neither of them could bare to get rid of.
