A BRIEF CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Kai was born and raised as a hunter – he never went to traditional school and learnt to shoot a gun before he ever learnt to ride a bike, or even read. Solitary for the best part of his life, tragedies lead to him leaving Ireland, where he was born, and moving to America. Yet here, despite the hunters bad attitude, drinking, single mindedness and constant need to be doing something (usually hunting) he found some form of happiness, and even made a family for himself. Peyton deanus, now his wife, who began as nothing more than a booty call captured his heart and gave him a daughter, a daughter who for a while was believed to be a shape shifter… who was born premature and yet now, despite her previous frailty, is a strong and healthy six month year old girl named saoirse.
For kai, his life has a meaning it was always lacking and the aged hunter is finally happy again. Yet the nightmares of his past and the secrets he keeps hidden from his wife… well one of these days they’re gonna bite him in the ass.
