A BRIEF CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Riley is generally shy and retiring – he is not very outgoing and prefers to keep himself to himself. He has few close friends, and a fiancé, Marie, who as a phoenix is currently carrying the couple’s first child. Taken from his mother as a baby, Riley spent the first four years of his life being raised by demons before he was rescued by hunters and left on the doorstep of his new family’s home. He was always slightly different… shy, retiring, he spent much of his teen years alone, angry and taking it out on his arms. He flunked school, dropped out… and only really got himself sorted out when his father introduced him to car engines, and how to fix them. Now, he runs his own successful landscaping company. But Riley has a dark secret, a splintered person that has reared its head since the realisation of who his real family are, and Riley struggles to keep control, to keep his friends and his family safe. He’s terrified, and with each heart pounding moment of his life, he’s drawing closer to losing control for good….
