Spirit Warrior – As her tribe's Spirit Warrior, Kaliska is rumoured to have a Spirit Walker's ability to see and commune with the spirits of the departed. Whether this is true is somewhat questionable , but she does seem to have an aptitude for sensing a wide range of supernatural phenomenon. Beyond this, with periods of meditation she seems able to deduce the nature of supernatural forces in her presence – at times dispelling angry ghosts without the use of weaponry.
Battle Meditation – Kaliska is, due to her heritage, supposedly able to utilize her ability to commune with the spirits of her ancestors in what the ancients of her tribe call 'battle meditation.' Should she meditate before battle, holding the weapon she wishes to fight with, her body becomes a transit for the souls of long dead warriors. It is said that these souls still crave war, and thus flow through her into her chosen weapon, imbuing it and her with the power of great warlords. In any following combat, those past warriors guide her hand, making her much more formidable opponent. Once again – this ancient law is unproven, and no-one quite knows quite how much trust to vest in the tales of past cultures. However, Kaliska has been and remains an unbeaten warrior, and thus there certainly seems to be some truth to aged tales.

A BRIEF CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Kaliska Eyota Stonesoul was born on August 12th, 2040, to the mighty warrior Inteus Greatrock and his wife, Awentia Flint. As the only daughter of the Stonesoul clan's chieftain and spirit walker, her birth was heralded as a gift to her people, and great prophecies were made at her conception by the tribe's ancients. The young child was meant to grow to unite the old and modern worlds, and travel the land righting the wrongs of the past, making life's paths safer for those who would tread them in the future. She was to become a hailed Spirit Warrior – merging the roles of the peaceful, supernatural Spirit Walkers and the fierce and mighty warriors of ages past.
However, complications at birth saw the Spirit Walker Awentia Flint lose her life, her dying wish being that her daughter, named Kaliska in her final moments, fulfil her destiny. Broken hearted, the tribe's chieftain, Kaliska's father, disowned her, leaving her to be raised by the clan's ancient seers and mages. She was raised to be a spirit walker, just like her mother, spending much of her young life learning how to commune with spirits, learning how to talk with those on the other side – how to deal with and sense phenomena that humans were not able to . Yet no matter what she did, she could not win her father's approval – despite being a cherished member of the clan, most fond of her quick wit, determination and generally caring attitude.
Inteus finally began caring for his daughter on her sixteenth birthday, a year after she took her rites of passage – fully becoming a grown member of the tribe. His wife's spirit visited him in a dream, telling him that only in caring for their daughter would her spirit finally be able to rest. Seeing the error of his ways, Inteus took Kaliska under his wing and tutored her in the art of the Stonesoul combatants, finally merging her abilities of the spirit walker with that of the warrior.
Spending the next few years training, Kaliska fully realised her talent, and became able to use the sacred art of battle meditation. It was on witnessing this progress that her father knew she was ready. Giving her the honorary title of Spirit Warrior, titling her 'Stonesoul' after her own clan, he sent her out into the world to finish what he, nor any before him, could ever have hoped to accomplish – to aid in ridding the world of evil so that the next generations may walk the earth free of fear.
