As a 'Day Walker', Mimi possesses all the regular strengths and weaknesses of the more vampiric creatures of the night. She is stronger, faster and more agile than even the fittest of human athletes and has acute, near-animalistic senses. However, unlike most of her kind, due to the circumstances of her creation and birth, she has the ability to walk untainted and uninjured in the sunlight. While intense UV rays can cause her skin to be somewhat irritated, at times breaking out into rashes, she is for the most part completely unaffected by normal weather patterns. As a trade off, Mimi needs much more blood to sustain her being – and thus is required to feed at far more regular intervals.

A BRIEF CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Despite suffering from a remarkably traumatic birth, Naomi 'Mimi' Montoya has always lived the life of a regularly spoilt, bratty child – and nothing changed during her teen years. Treated at home like a princess, constantly showered with gifts, her adopted parents were desperate to win her affections and Mimi has always expected everyone to act around her as they do. Thus – she is used to getting her own way and hates hearing the word no.
Becoming a cheerleader as soon as she entered high school, it certainly seemed as if her life would continue being perfect – both in her eyes and all else's. She was 'popular' due to her natural beauty and position on the cheer squad, and she has always had a number of friends desperate to win her approval. She never needed to be smart – any geek, male or female, wished to be seen with her – and thus for the small price of hanging out with a 'loser' for an hour, Mimi could make sure she passed every class she struggled in.
This behaviour continued until her senior year – and at the age of 17, she hadn't changed – not even a little. However, her 18th birthday was to only make things worse. A regular party goer, Mimi and a number of her friends visited a club to celebrate her turning 18. It was during this night of revelry that she met a truly stunning man who seemed interested in just her. After hours of flirting and dancing, he whisked her away to his apartment – and proceeded to attempt to turn her into a vampire, biting her neck and silencing any screams of protests with a firmly clamped hand.
Awaking days later, Mimi felt utterly changed – although in a good way. The tall, dark male explained what it is that had occurred, and told her what it was she had to do in order to survive – drink blood, stay away from the sun, and try not to run into anyone who happened to carry sharpened wooden stakes. However, after weeks of experimentation, Naomi discovered that she, unlike the one that turned her, could face direct sunlight. She was as strong and fast as him, but didn't burn and crisp when in any form of UV ray. Believing that her mentor had lied to her in order to keep her a prisoner and ruin her life, Mimi slaughtered him, and soon after returned to high school.
Since then, Naomi has stalked the school halls – believing herself, quite simply, to be a near Queen like figure. Immortal, agile and stunning, her natural beauty enhanced by her transformation, she has but one goal – finish her final year and take the title of Prom Queen. God forbid anyone that stands in her way – not only is she superhumanly strong, but her ability to walk in the sunlight seems to have left her with a great thirst for human blood – and she tends to feed on those she feels deserve it.
