Athrun lay Unconscious in a room in the Emergency Room. He was rushed there after being found by the local police in the front atrium of the federal building. Athrun was the only one seriously hurt meeting the blade of some psycho's sword. Athrun had a deep gash in his right side. The resulting blood loss caused Athrun to loose consciousness.
The head of the marshal's office and Athrun's team stood in the waiting room. The whispers echoed through the room, "Didi he have any next of kin, No I think he had a Alexis or someonee listed but shes not kin, I dont know Finally the chief told them to shut it as he made a phone call....

I can hear the devil call my name Hopeless, I’m falling down Filthy, I can’t wake up I cannot hold on, I will not let go Worthless, it’s over now Guilty, there’s no way outWhen Athrun was rushed through the doors Madison was immediately on top of him, assessing his injuries and quickly barking out orders to the people around her. The Marshall had been stabbed and she was going to have to go in and stop the internal bleeding. People being on task was key. Once she had him stabilized enough, they headed for the OR, Madison staying at his side. “Hang in there Athrun.” She had been given his name, age, and condition when he was first wheeled in. “Just hang on. I’m going to get you through this, but I need your help.”Talking to patients, even unconscious ones, was a habit of Madison’s. She firmly believed that just because someone was unconscious didn’t mean they couldn’t hear you. They wheeled him into the OR and got to work. It was touch and go for a while, but eventually, Madison was able to stop the internal bleeding. Athrun had needed a blood transfusion, and while he was going to be down and out for a while, he’d make it. After the surgery Madison went out into the waiting room. “Family of Athrun Knight?”

Randy pulled up to the hospital and killed the motor on his bike. He removed his helmet and looked at the hospital. He had already been to the federal building and it was torn apart, or at least the front of it was. He over heard a bunch of feds talk about Athrun be taken to this hospital. He locked the ignition on his bike and walked into the emergency room. There was a whole bunch of people including feds in the waiting room.
Randy finally would be able to meet the man that abandoned him and his mom. Though is mom was now gone he sure as hell was not gonna let another parent die. At least not until he got to talk to him. The doctor came out and asked if there was any family in the room. Randy smiled and walked forward "My name is Randy Carter, I'm Athrun Knight's son"

It was funny how all it took was a phone call to make one sit up and take notice of the things and people around them.
Lexi had been in the middle of tending to a barfight when Ben had pulled her aside and told her that some hospital was on the line and she was needed. Frowning, she'd taken the call and about dropped the phone when she was informed that there had been an accident and that her old friend was in bad shape.
Without thinking, she'd picked up her purse and car keys and headed out of the club at the fastest pace she could imagine. The trip across town was a blur but soon she found herself at the emergency room desk with a battle ax of a nurse giving her a bored look. It was a look that pissed the witch off so much that it was all she could do not to let the ice in her voice drill holes into the woman's skull.
Really? What in the world were things coming to when hospital staff were no longer trying to help people but drive them mad?
"I don't think you heard me correctly, I was called by a nurse from this hospital who told me Mr. Knight was here. I"d like to see him or at least find out if he's going to be ok."
When the woman behind simple glared at her, Lexi growled. If someone didn't show up soon.. She might just murder this idiot.

Madison gave Randy a reassuring smile and shook his hand. "I'm Doctor McClain. Mr. Knight is your father?"
She blinked when she heard the commotion from the nurses station. Athrun's name seemed to be a part of whatever was going on. Frowning, she looked back to Randy. "Hold that thought." She really hated to leave the man's son standing there, not knowing what was going on, but it would be easier to tell them both together if she was also a family member.
Besides the look the blond woman was giving the nurse was a frightening one. Some people had no patience when a loved one was injured and they didn't know what was going on. Madison understood, but she also tried to keep the animosity down to a minimum. It wouldn't help anyone.
Madison offered the woman a friendly smile as she approached. "Hello, I'm Dr. McClain. Are you here about Athrun Knight?"

Randy nodded as the doctor asked him if he was Athrun's son, when she said to hold his thought he nodded as she walked over to the blond. He looked around the Hospital waiting room, He had never seen so many cops in one place. It was no concern to him weather Athrun lived or died, as long as he got a answer to his question. He leaned against the wall and kept to his own until she came back.
Randy pulled out his pack of smokes, held up to his ear and shook it. Damn, only two left. He would have to stop and get a pack on his way out of town. He watched as the Doctor talked to the woman, who was she and what relation did she have to his father?
