"Okay, I'm way over dressed"
She thought as she stepped into the bar/pool after her co.workers, she didn't really wanted to go to one of them's birthday and it was a must because it was right new door and right after closing business hours but when Emily saw that all of her group was way over dressed, she relaxed, this was much needed and overdue for her.
As all sat around a table, she looked around slightly but saw nothing interesting so, some her co worker put some music on the jukebox, it was rather early and she wasn't up for a drink with alcohol just yet, the place was kind of empty too.
About two hours later, the whole scenario had change, the place was packed with all sorts of people, from all suited up like her and her co.workers to a emos and heavy rock and roll fans and anime fans, all were different but in there, they were all the same and Emily decided to begin with the alcohol parade, beer first, and escalating into whatever lately.
Apparently, there was a band that night playing there and none of her group knew, some of them weren't into rock and roll music as she and some of her friends were, the ones that weren't left as soon as they realized.
The band was good, and as soon as Emily saw the leading singer whatever it was on her mind was magically gone, there was something in his voice and the sadness in his eyes that made Emily just stay there and watch, almost without blinking.
Her coworkers noticed and sort of pushed her to the stage after they were over, encouraging her to talk to him, a step away or so, she looked back at them and they were waving desperately to go and get him, she sighed deep and took the step away that separated them
"Hi!"
She said shyly, with her arms shoved on her skirts' pocket.
