>>.Home, or what had once been home. For somewhere that held so many memries, the town seemed strange and different, but then again, it had been decades since Faith had set foot in this place. Of course things had changed, just not as much as her.
>>.Faith found herself stood by a familiar lake, somewhere she and her family had spent many a summer afternoon having picnics, it had been her grandmother's favourite place, the place she had said she had felt most at one with their goddess, Mother Nature. Those summer afternoons were long gone now, leaving Faith stood alone, bthed in the moonlight that cast her pale palor in an ice blue hue. Her eyes cast down, Faith's lips twitched at the plaque that held her attentio. Embedded in a large rock that Faith could remember sitting on, letting her legs dangle into the clear blue water. The water was now black and the rock now held a plaque, its embossed letters reading a touching quote followed by her name. Here was the resting place of the 'beautifully souled Faith Hastings' which was, for the most part, true. No longer was she the beautifully souled being they spoke of and, since her rebirth, she'd taken on a new alias. Faith had been left behind.
>>.But now she was back.
>>.Her eyes moved to the plaque beside her own, causing her features to lose their amused expression. The name tugged at heartstrings that hadn't moved in so long that it felt unnatural. Kneeling down, Faith's nimble fingers caressed the raised words as though it would remind her of better times. A small smile appeared on her lips, "Hello Gran... I'm home."
>>.Of curse Faith had visited her Gran first, within moments of arriving. Next, she'd lurked in a shadowed alley, watching her sister in her shop, serving customers, filling shelves whilst, from what Faith could tell, trying to talk Luciana through some spell or another. It had taken Faith's breath away to lay eyes upon who she realised was her daughter. Had it really been so long? Luciana had been a babe in arms the last time Faith had seen her. She'd had updates, trusted people who would divert to Ohio and check in on them but she never expected her daughter to be so grown up. There was no denying it was her either, she was the spitting image of Faith herself. Faith spent hours watching them, just staring from the darkness, until hey shut up the shop and headed upstairs.
>>.Which found Faith at a loss, feelingnostalgic like never before, pining for the first time for the life she'd left behind all that time ago. There was someone that sprang to her mind with the nostalgia, but it was someone she debated whether to see or not. Since turning, Faith had lost her ability to care. She'd betray anyone outside of her nest to get ahead, she didn't suffer fools well and she would use people as it suited her in a heartbeat. But... people from her life before... some people still called to the side of her that refused to become fully vampire, though it grew smaller and smaller every day.
>>.And so Faith found herself stood outside the club, reading the sign that announced she was in the right place, the sign that also seemed to crate an invisible barrioer, stopper her from entering. It wasn't the sign though, it was her. Faith couldn't help but feel a sense of apprehension she hadn't felt since her heart had taken its last beat. She could have trusted her with the secret, but she hadn't. It had been easier to just cut ties. What if she attacked her? Worse... hated her.
>>.After what seemed like hours, the vampire in her took over the soft hearted human that had surfaced. So what? Faith had her reasons, it was like they'd been in love! They'd been a fling, used one another. That's what she kept telling herself. Wandering into the club like she owned the damn joint, Faith was hit by a barrage of memories as strong as the smell of stale alcohol and scents of demonic and human beings that assaulted her heightened senses. Still all of that dissapated the moment her eyes caught sight of a flash of auburn hair. So many memories surrounded her and her alon. Faith felt a new wave of strength surged through her, propelling her towards the familiar female. Once close enough, her hands raised to cover the female's eyes from behind, leaning forwads to whisper in her ear, "Guess who, Red." It was just a regular night for Delilah. Nothing big. Nothing special. Delilah was entertaining clients for Stolas but it really wasn't anything new. What better way to loosen up the clients before a meeting than to let them enjoy the wonder and sparkle of the Casino's human relations section. In short -- Tits and ass make for happy business men. She never really was one to cover up but considering this was business and she was the host, Delilah had thrown on a pair of low waisted, figure hugging leather pants with matching boots. Just so she didn't feel too odd, Delilah then just threw on a pretty, barely there bikini top. Delilah's tousled red hair hung delicately over her shoulders, a tall black russian in hand as Delilah fluttered her eyelashes and flirted profusely. She was good at what she did. Stolas knew that. It was why he kept her around. Around the bedroom and the casino. Delilah had been pretending to act interested in this guys FAR from interesting story as the world suddenly went dark and she felt fingertips lay across her eyes. There was a smell. A smell that as soon as it hid Delilah just screamed familiarity. Then the voice. Those words she hadn't heard in so long. It couldn't be...
Delilah's glass slipped towards the ground, shattering and the liquid inside spilling across the floor. She didn't quite know what to do and it was almost like her body was moving off her own means. Her hands went to the ones covering her eyes, lifting them gently away as her body turned quickly to view her. It couldn't be. It really couldn't. Her eyes just looked over her old friend. Her old lover. "No..." Delilah just stood there in shock. Nothing else in the room mattered right now and she'd completely forgotten about the guys she was supposed to be entertaining. Delilah stepped back, getting a better look of her but seemed to be clinging to her hands. "But... How?" It was so unusual for Delilah to be this tongue tied. In fact, everything Delilah seemed to fly out the window.

>>.Seeing Delilah's body tense, watching the glass fall in beautiful slow motion before the sound of shattering glass met her ears, Faith couldn't help but let a smile cross her lips. So, after all they'd been through, all the times she'd left Faith shocked, it took a few decades of space for her to be able to turn the tables. Finally she'd been able to catch her unawares and all it had taken was faking her own death.
>>.Feeling the demon's hands on her own, pulling them away from her eyes, seeing her turn like she'd been shot, Faith only wished she could have had a camera to catch the look on Delilah's face as her inklings were proven to be true. As with Delilah, Faith suddenly forgot where they were, all of the other people faded into a blur and the music muted as she stared into her friend's eyes. Unsure how to react, whether to do a goofy grin and spread her hands out, accompanied by a geeky 'tadaaa', or just wrap the demon in her arms and hug it out. As it was, for all the options in her brain, Faith couldn't bring her body to do any of them. She just stood there, her hands entwined with Red's.
>>.Hearing the one worded quotes that tumbled from Red's lips, Faith found her lips pulling into the goofy smile she had thought about but pulled it back so her lips merely quirked. "Hey... Delilah. You look... you look good." Running a hand over her perfectly styled updo, one that took the once rough and ready huntress into a manicured business woman, Faith felt as though her heart would be pounding in her chest did it actually work. "I guess I should explain, huh? Maybe we could... go somewhere a little more, private?" Location: Seven Sins (Ohio Branch) Wearing: THIS!!Tag: Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed <3

That smile… God that smile could light up the whole freakin’ world now, couldn’t it!? Delilah’s heart was playing sleeping lions or something in her chest. Whatever it was playing, every time Faith spoke her entire chest ceasing instantly. She still couldn’t believe it. How was it possible? HOW on EARTH was it possible?? Delilah was a good demon, she was good at what she did. She’d normally spot another demon or a vampire from a mile away but she was so thrown by the fact of who this particular vampire was that she couldn’t think about anything. As Faith just stood there, Delilah wished she’d give her anything. If she knew that Faith was considered a geeky tada or simply holding the still gob smacked demoness, she’d have wished she did so. Maybe it was better to be left in the dark. To think that was all she wanted to do. Just stand there. The only words that finally came out of Faith’s mouth were that Delilah looked good. She knew she looked good. She always looked good. It was what she did. A small sigh couldn’t help but leave Lilah’s body as she wished that Faith had given her more. An ‘I missed you’ or a ‘good to see you again’. It wasn’t until Faith moved her hand up to her hair that Delilah took the moment to look over her. Well hell. She’d definitely changed. She looked so prim and proper. It was a look Delilah had been forced to adopt herself from time to time but the same as the little demoness was currently stood there in what could only be described as a bikini top and leather pants, she couldn’t help but expect to see Faith do the same. Stand before her in leather or denim, definitely dark dreary colors. That was all Delilah had ever seen Faith in. Even pregnant, Delilah had known Faith to travel for miles just to buy black maternity clothes. Just the light color of Faith’s shirt was enough to shock Delilah. Faith said something about explaining and going somewhere a little more private but the curvy red head barely heard a word. She wasn’t a lip reader but you’d swear she was the way her lips focused on Faith’s. Then she did it. Without a second thought she did it. Her body lunged forward and her lips latched desperately onto her Bear’s. Women kissing in this place wasn’t unheard of. The fact one was fully clothed however? That was. She wished she was lost in the moment, not that it wasn’t one of the most amazing things she had done in a long time, she just couldn’t cut out the world. Delilah Jayde Cross was actually nervous. Then she heard it. One of the men she’d been meeting with make a comment. A typical guy comment. Something she heard every single day but normally found funny. ‘Maybe they should take their clothes off and we should throw them in jello’. Well with that Delilah’s lips broke away, her first moving to collide with the guys face. “You can leave now.” Oh hell, Stolas was gonna kill her but right now she didn’t care. She cared about the fact that Faith was THERE. Delilah slowly turned back to Faith. “Sorry. Yes. Uh we can go to the office if you….” Delilah’s body turned to point and eventually hit in the air, the action screaming that fact Delilah wasn’t sure what to say. Even Delilah couldn’t remember ever being like this. She just let her legs carry her off to the office, waiting for Faith to join her. As Delilah opened the door, she caught a glimpse of herself in a mirror and instantly felt self conscious. WHAT THE HELL? Delilah was self conscious. What was up with that?? She flew across the room, grabbing a blue halter top and pulling it over herself. Her hands gripped the edge of the desk as she pulled herself up onto it, resting her feet on the office chair and turning to look at Faith desperately.

>>.Well, well, well, hadn't things changed and, at the same time, stayed exactly the same. Delilah wore the clothes Faith had always remembered her in, the skimpy, skin tight items that always drew attention her way but attention that she more than deserved. However, her reaction to seeing Faith, well... it was almost like their personalities had completely swapped over. On the other hand, maybe nothing had changed here but her.
>>.Faith could barely remember such trivial things as travelling for hours for oversized tops to cover her bump. The bump itself, as Faith had seen, was now fully grown into a beautiful young lady, getting to grips with magic just like her mother once had. Faith? Well, as Annabella she now dressed only in designer labels, dripping with expense and sophistication.
>>.Damn her pride, damn her inability to shake the facade she had built up over the years. The sigh hadn't been misses by the vampiress's acute hearing, nor had the tone of it been lost on her. Of course Delilah wanted more than a compliment on her looks, but damn her to Hell, Faith's lips just refused to form those words. She couldn't risk it, she couldn't risk being weak right now, having someone to actually care about. Why had she even come here tonight!? She'd blown everything.
>>.But... why the hell was Delilah staring at her lips? The increased pulse of her demonic blood, the slight increase in body temperature, even the fact her lips turned a darker shade of their natural colour, freaked her out. Sure, those things she'd seen plenty of times when she'd been around Delilah, usually before they ended up tumbling into whatever they could use as a makeshift bed, but it had never been so pronounced to the hunter without the aid of the vampire senses. Faith could also see those traits belonging to anger, and her self preservation warned her to get ready, she might need to do a few blocking moves before too long.
>>.But no, no fist came flying at her, more the entire demon's body. Faith's fingers moved to wrap around the demon's wrists, ready to push her away, twist and turn her into some body lock that would render her harmless.
>>.Whoa........
>>.Welcome to breaking through Annabella's impenetrable walls of protection, class one. Feeling the demon's lips press against hers, floods of memories she'd thought were long forgotten came cascading over her, and Faith found her body reacting, kissing her back, before she had any idea of what it was doing. That was -not- what she had been expecting.
>>.Upon hearing the sarcastic comment uttered from the male's lips, Faith happened to find it quite humourous, also seconded with the fact that, after that kiss, she wouldn't have minded that little scenario. However, apparently Delilah wasn't so amused, as the punch Faith could have sworn was meant to head her way went colliding with his jaw. The vampire smiled, she had missed the little Hellcat.
~Sorry. Yes. Uh we can go to the office if you...~
>>.With an amused smirk, Faith couldn't deny that she loved the effect she'd had on the little demon. It make up for all the uncertainty she had ever felt through her life about the demoness, it brought out Annabella's naughty side, made her want to play. Drawing herself up to full height, she followed Delilah towards the office, strangely loving the fact her little demon was slightly freaked out. She'd never seen her like this before, and she'd be lying if she said it wasn't giving her ego a boost. Her eyes took in everything, the way Delilah seemed to be walking like her legs were a completely separate to her body, the way she reached for something to cover up her body. That action, that last action called to Faith, though the Annabella side wondered why, why would she cover up such a perfect body when in the company of a woman who saw it in so much less.
>>.With Delilah settled on the desk, Faith saw the look on her face and tilted her head, a soft smile appearing on her lips, the smile of a business woman. "I apologise, Delilah... I understand how much of a shock this must be." Moving closer, the Faith side of her, the human she had left behind screamed to just hold her, but the vampire couldn't resist the urge to play the fact the tables had turned, that Delilah was now the uncertain one. Letting her hand reach out, she toyed with a lock of Delilah's flame coloured hair, letting it curl around her index finger as she watched it, "I had to come to town for business... and I found myself here. I think the old human side missed you." Pushing the hair behind her ear, Faith's hand brushed her cheek, before she turned around and moved away again. Wandering around the office, Faith couldn't help but notice how familiar it all was, forcing her to chuckle "It's good to see some things haven't changed though."] Location: Seven Sins (Ohio Branch) Wearing: THIS!!Tag: Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed <3
