Ah, how Aric loved to stay in shape for his 'job'. He not only liked to stay in shape, but he needed to. Especially in this line of work, if you weren't physically fit, it was hard for you to survive. Aric was always in the best shape he could be in though. Through his younger years, he always played sports and was in military programs. He was always in tip-top shape. Today, he was doing a full blown workout, running, weights, and the heavy bag. He only did a full routine workout every few weeks, just because it took so much energy from him.

As he got to the gym, he went straight to the track. He had his bag in hand and was just about ready to go, then he saw her. The girl from the other day. He turned his back to her, beginning to stretch out. He didn't want her to notice him... Not yet anyway. Aric continued to stretch as she made one last lap around him, then he began to run. He started with a light jog behind her, glancing at her every once in a while. Suddenly, he picked up his pace... A lot, and passed Cassidy, hoping she would recognize him. He then slowed down and began jogging backwards "Well hey there stranger He said playfully before he tripped on his untied shoelace. Aric fell to the ground with a thud and he began to laugh "Well shit... That was smooth"

Although Aric hadn’t been in town for a very long time, he was kind of already getting used to the life out here. He had met a few people, some of them being nicer than others… Then there was that guy Talon that he kept running into. Maybe it was Aric’s timing, but he never seemed to see that guy in a good mood. First time he saw the guy, he was pulling on a girl’s arm, then another time, Aric had seen him throw Cassidy’s keys into the forest… What an ass hole. Then again, he was almost the reason for Aric meeting Cassidy and actually talking to her. Aric was the kind of guy that treated all women with respect, unless they did something to completely screw it up. He was brought up that way, by his father. Aric’s dad would always threaten to smack him upside the head if he ever showed disrespect to anyone… Especially women.

A million thoughts ran through Aric’s head when he had hit the ground, the main one being ’Wow… I’m such an idiot… Tryin to impress a girl and I mess it up He shook his head lightly, still laughing at himself a bit. ”Well, that’s about the only perk to my misfortune. At least I succeeded in that aspect. Aric reached to re-tie his shoelace and looked to Cassidy, who was kneeling by his side. He starts to stand up ”So how have you been? What have you been up to?” He asked, trying to keep the conversation from going back to him falling on his ass. He would definitely feel it in the morning, he had actually hit the ground pretty hard. He begins walking back toward his bag, motioning to Cassidy to come along ”Did I interrupt your workout? I can wait in the bleachers til you’re done… There is no way I’m running anymore today Aric said, putting on an ashamed grin.

Aric nodded and smiled Well that’s good. I can say that I never minded that you are a trouble maker. I think that’s why I like being around you. He pauses a moment ”Cause there is never a dull moment with you, and it’s never the same thing. He added with a slight laugh. And it’s very nice to see you as well. He nodded as they continued to walk toward the bleacher, where his bag was still laying. He looked down at her and smiled again ”Well let’s hope so… I mean, it’s kinda hard to beat the fun of running the track. He said jokingly.

Aric bent down and picked up his bag and stood back up, his eyes meeting Cassidy’s again ”Is there anything in particular that you want to do? I have the whole afternoon free”

Aric quirked a brow playfully ”And what if I already have a photo album of mug shots? I kind of like those orange jumpsuits they were in prison. He smiled. Aric had never actually been to prison, not as Aric Summers anyway. When he had first gotten into hunting, he had a job with his mentor that had the need to go undercover in a jail. The job wasn’t easy, but they did end up killing the ghost that was terrorizing the prison. To his surprise, the escape was the hardest part of the job, and it had only taken about an hour to get out.

Aric remembered the first night he had met Cassidy. The two were flirting like they had known each other for years. After a fight between her and Talon, the guy that Aric despised, Cass had gone upstairs to sleep off her liquor. Aric had gone up to make sure she was ok, and next thing he knew, he was on top of her. That night was a pretty memorable one for Aric, and since then, Aric and Cass had seemed to grow a little closer.

Aric nodded ”The whole afternoon…” He said with a smile. Hell, Aric had nothing else to do, so why not hang out with a beautiful girl? He smiled lightly and wrapped his arm around her waist lightly and pulled her closer to him I had a few activities in mind as well… But I think we should wait til later for those. He pauses a moment and continues ”How does lunch and ice cream sound?” He asked.

Aric wasn’t sure how he had gotten to meet a girl like Cassidy and actually hang out with her. Sure, he had his fair share of flings, but they usually ended after the first time. Aric felt really bad about it sometimes, he would usually get a call from a girl that he had been with, and they would talk, but Aric never really hung out with them after. He always just felt awkward sleeping with a girl, then trying to be friends afterward; it just didn’t sit right with him.

Cassidy on the other hand, was quite different. Once they had gotten together, Aric had really wanted to hang out with her. There was just something about her that had made him want to be around her. Maybe it was because he felt like he could be there for her, knowing how they met that night, or maybe it was something completely different. Maybe he actually liked this girl enough to want to chase after her. If that was the case, he wouldn’t give up on being with her.

He nodded when she mentioned freshening up and he pinched his nose playfully. He watched her head to the locker room and he grabbed his bags, heading to the men’s locker room to shower. He showered as quickly as he could and got dressed into the spare change of clothes he had from earlier. He then headed out to the front lobby and waited for Cass. He looked around to make sure no one was looking and lifted an arm to see if he smelt, but the shower and deodorant had done their jobs well. He dropped his arma sn looked out the front doors, waiting patiently.

Aric was waiting for Cass, looking out the front window, seeing a few people fumbling around in their cars, grabbing their bags, hell there was even a man chasing down a piece of paper that he had dropped. Aric watched the man in amusement, a small smile appearing on his face. Finally, the man had caught the paper and started walking inside, but Aric turned his attention away from him, thinking to himself that he was excited to take Cass out for some fun. He had actually been looking forward to this since he had met her. He had been waiting to take her out, and now he had the chance.

He felt her arm wrap around his and he gave her a large smile. ”Well actually… I’ve been waiting for what seems like forever… But I think that’s just because I’m a little nervous and anxious” He said with a bit of sarcasm in his voice. He watched her as she spun and looked her over. Wow, she was gorgeous… How the hell was he even standing here with her? She was definitely out of his league, but he wasn’t about to let her know that. He smiled and gave her a nod and brought his hand up and stroked his chin playfully ”You look stunning”

Aric took Cassidy’s hand and began to walk out to the parking lot with her. He looked in the direction of his car and started to lead her over to it. As they approached it, he opened her door and let her in before shutting it gently behind her. He ran over to his side and hopped in and looked over to her with a smile ”So, where would you like to go to lunch? Anywhere is good with me, so don’t even bother asking” He said with a light laugh. Honestly, he had no idea what was good around the area, so he was going to let Cass choose for him.
