"I did no such thing to bite it off..." Making 'talky fingers,' Ben pitched his voice into a teasing parody of his friend's. Seriously, was she going to stand there and ARGUE with him? Most people would just roll their eyes at him and demand to know the story behind the hotel, but NO...he had to be stuck with friggin Kayla Rhys-Damara. Instead of a normal girl, like Jessie or YaYa, he HAD to end up hunting with the most argumentative, annoying, insulting woman on the planet!

But damn, she sure could kiss. Like a smack across the face, the thought shot into his brain and took root. He should have felt disgusted- he'd known her for half his life, for chrissakes- and yet...he wasn't. Hell, if it wasn't for the fact that reality was a cold hearted bitch, he would probably have had her up against the side of the house, if he wanted to get truthful with himself.

...And now, it was time for the coldest shower on the history of the universe, followed by slamming his head in the door. Kayla FREAKING Rhys-Damara! WHAT THE HELL WAS WRONG WITH HIM?!

Grumbling, Ben cut a glare at the closed door when Kay changed the subject. He'd noticed the old man playing pinch-ey cheeks with his 'wife's' assets, but he'd pretended not to see it. As far as he knew, the owners could be a part of the disappearances and if the guy got his jollies off of risking his life...well, that was his prerogative. And, though he refused to admit it, letting the old codger make himself happy was a bit of revenge for the porch scene. God, Kay was just sitting there, all nonchalant, while his libido was doing a freaky-dance. Obviously she wasn't as affected as he was, so he should just stop being the goddamn chick and concentrate!

Thank God; the mental berating finally worked. There you are, Mr. Serious Hunter...

"The plan was just basically to wait 'til all the couples are downstairs, then have a look around. I figure if we put a special sign up and make some noise, the others wouldn't bother us for a while," Giving her a grin as he rummaged through his pack, he pulled out a fresh shirt and tossed it on the bed. The floor was going to be damned cold tonight, but hopefully they'd solve the 'case' soon enough. "From what I've figured out about this thing, it does most of its dirty work near the basement. So all we really have to do is go poke around down there and see what we can scare up."

And then, the conversation turned to unzipping a dress..and knickers. What the FUCK, man? Couldn't they just stick to the hunt? When it came to violence, he was pretty good with life around Kay...

Sucking it up with a martyred sigh, Ben trudged over to her, as if going toward the executioner's block. Then, when he was close enough to undo the aforementioned zipper, he squeezed his eyes shut, then whipped around when the deed was done. "Just make it quick; it might be too tempting to stay away from your cootie-infested clothes," He answered dryly.


MAKAYLA:

Oh hell now he was making talky fingers at her and she rolled her eyes at that and mouthed a ' blah, blah, blah at him and of course she would argue with him till the end of time if she had too. She was not trying to bite his lips off and if she wanted them gone they would have been couldn't he bloody well understand that for hells sake, damn does she have to spell it out? Or go bite at it some more, she would totally deny it, but the kiss had been amazing and for it being Ben who she kissed was astonishing really. She was purposely doing things to drive him mad, and she had wanted to know why he had been groping her ass, she actually kind of liked it in some weird way and she had to scratch that notion of her liking it out of her head for real that was something she didn't want anyone to know at all.

She figured it was for the surprise attack on him playing the lovey dovey cute wife to be that the couple surely loved, and she shrugged it off and wasn't really gonna press it anymore unless she has to. She had asked what his plans were for this job. She wasn't sure all the details. She herself wasn't one that hunted all the time only on occasion, but she was one that could hold her own that’s for damn sure. He had told her that it was wait till they go down stairs snoop about she could do that then she raised a brow at him when he said put the special sign out side, and make some noise so they wouldn’t be bothered.. They could do that. " I suppose it is good I can fake it eh? " She said with a playful wink. She really is the devil. "If that is the kind of noise you are talking about.." He was rummaging threw his stuff to get cleaned up to and she surely needed to change out of her dress and get in the shower and sober up some. She did have a few drinks, probably more then Ben, and she made it look like he had drank them. Hopefully this wasn’t gonna be a long case other wise they may have to do more clothes shopping..

She listened as he rambled on about how the thing did most of its dirty work near the basement so that seemed like it was where they were going to be doing their rummage and raid. " Looks like we may get dirty then, that sounds fun." She said. I am enjoying this already she said with a sly smirk. She had rummaged threw her own shit to get some things to change into she was sure as hell not coming back out here in a towel for him to gawk at. She asked him to unzip her, and he did and told her to make it quick and held her dress up with her hand and pinched his cheek. " I know you want to wear them, " She said playfully and grabbed what she had sprawled out to bring in with her, and headed to the shower to wash up and the water was luscious, and she stumbled out of the bathroom like 10 minutes later..." Quick enough?"

“You best have stayed out of my clothes mister. She figured while she was in there it would have given him time to change as well if he wanted to. She wanted to stick on a shirt and pants at least if they will be in a dusty basement and what not. " Are we ready to get this show on the road? This way we can get home and chillax in our own beds. " she loves her nice comfy bed and was sure this one was going to be lumpy so the quicker they finished the case the better and they can go back to tormenting each other all the more.


BEN:

GAH, if he ever wanted to strangle a woman, it would be Makayla Rhys-Damara! She was a demon-woman, sent to earth to drive him completely crazy! Strangling the air in front of his face as she turned to saunter into the bathroom, he resisted the urge to charge in there after her and chain her to the toilet seat. Of all the stupid, unplanned, ill-thought ideas that he'd ever had in his entire, goddamn existance...

For about two minutes, Ben just stood there, mentally ranting at his decision to take his childhood friend along with him. He liked his Hunts to go smoothly, almost without thought; exactly the reason why he did most of his work alone. He hated relying on someone else, who might not be as cool headed as he was. He hated having to worry about someone else's life being on the line, or having to watch burials from afar. And now, with the eldest Damara kid tagging along...oh, holy hell, the mere fact that she was there, possibly in danger, was putting his life at risk more so than the monster hiding somewhere in the inn. Why the HELL hadn't he thought of this before he'd shoved her into his car?!

Deep breaths, Winchester; he told himself. Deep, calming breaths. So what if her father had the temper of a raging bear on a bender and her mom was liable to zap girl parts on him if something happened to Kay? He could deal with all that, right? No problem!

He was so frikken dead...

When she finally emerged from the bathroom, Ben was looking at the guns he'd spread out on the bed, debating which to take with them when the 'faking it' part of their night was done. He'd pointedly ignored those quips about trying on her clothes, knowing that it wasn't worth trying to retaliate. So, with a martyred silence, he checked his weapons and began stowing them about his person. Without looking up at Kay, he scratched his bare chest and slid a small pistol into the holster he'd attached there. Some part of him wanted to see if she'd stare; if she was as affected by that damn kiss as he was...and his common sense practically cried at the fact.

Before he could go into another bout of mental debating, he shoved a cartridge into one of the larger guns he'd brought and made a show of cocking it. "I doubt showing up in one of your frilly-ass skirts is gonna kill whatever's kidnapping people, so no, I haven't touched your clothes," He grumbled, moving over to his little knife collection near the pillows. "Sure, we can start. Go make some moaning noises and thump on the bed while I get myself ready here...and dammit, stay away from my shirts. The last time I had an open suitcase near you, one of the bigger ones disappeared, and I KNOW you took it..."


MAKAYLA:

Kayla loved driving him batty part of her thought it kept him on his toes, and he wouldn't be slacking off on the job that they were supposed to do. Part of her wondered why she agreed to this, but then remembered about all the innocent people in this place and had to help. She had showered quickly and couldn't stop thinking about that kiss and it was fricken Ben Winchester for christ sakes, she is supposed to torture the fudge out of him not want to jump him. Damn cruel god.. perhaps he is the evil one not the devil. Yeah she figured she would chalk it up to all the booze she drank. ya that was what it was. They exchanged their banter, and he said he didn't touch her clothes. " Good I wouldn't want your cooties." she grumbled, and went into her bag and got some sneakers to put on since she was wearing pants and a top now instead of a skirt easier to kick ass and take names in pants and shoes then heels, but she has done it in heels before and a dress.. Kayla may dress all girly, but when she wanted to be she was far from it. He had weapons sprawled across the bed.

Kayla did her best not to look at him and tried her damnest to not notice the fact he was half naked, and boy did he work out. She mentally wanted to slap herself for that thought, and went back to throwing her dirty stuff in her bag and looked at the weapons. " Though you never know sticking you in one of my frilly skirts might scare whatever is here to death." she said with a chuckle before him telling her he is going to get ready ands she best stay away from his shirts. " Do you have proof it was me? Was it like on video? If there is no proof then it wasn't me." She said sweetly in a sing song voice. " Now go get that smelly ass of yours cleaned up and ready before i have to spank you in there." yes, she was seeing if he would get all worked up cuz she is evil like that.

Also making it sound legit in case anyone is listening in on them before flopping on the bed, and bouncing about and making wild sex noises as if they were having wild sex in here, half of her wanted to gag at the idea. Then the other half well she didn't want to go there at all. Bad Kayla no thinking of such things she was telling herself while waiting for him to finish up in there so they could really get ready and the show on the road to scoop this bad boy out. Get the job done and go home and relax. She really didn't want to think about having to share a bed with him. That would just be torture.. she would have to like non sleep.. knowing Winchester he probably would hog the bloody bed, and snores like a trucker according to the people she knows. GAH and if she tried to cuddle up him .. She mentally wanted to shoot herself with one of the guns sprawled out on the bed right now and continued to fake as if they were having sex thinking those are some damn hot guns. " Oh yeah, right there.." She moaned out loudly and she bet her could hear it in the bathroom so she was making sure they all thought they were having wild passionate heated sex after that display downstairs.


BEN:

Okay, so when he'd had the bright idea of giving Kay the job of making the locals know how much they 'loved' one another, Ben hadn't thought that she'd go all out! When she'd come out of the bathroom, looking all wet and rumpled, he'd had to physically hurt himself to keep from staring too long. The cartridge he shoved into his pistol slashed his finger, and he hung onto the pain with a desperation that he really didn't understand. This was Kayla, for Chrissakes! Sure, he'd gone over it a bunch of times to no avail, but...THIS WAS KAYLA! It had to be the close proximity or something, but...damn, this was just wrong. Completely, totally wrong.

Shaking his head at himself, the hunter leaned over the sink with a sigh. God, this was totally fucked up and he didn't see how much better it was going to get. His gut told him to cut his losses and leave; that there was some kind of bad mojo going on, and this whole 'crazy ass lust' thing was a hint at what was coming. But, baring its teeth with a snarl, his pride wouldn't allow such a transgression and he steeled his spine against it. He was just over tired and going through...blonde-bimbo-withdrawl, or something. Once this demon, or whatever, was dead, the two of them would go on their merry way and life would go back to the way it was before. It was simple as that.

So, with that calming thought in mind, Ben quickly cleaned up and sauntered back outside. Kay was still going at it- something he was doing his best to ignore, but failing miserably- and he had to bite back a laugh, lest she take it the wrong way. Padding over to his bag, he pulled out a clean shirt and tugged it over his head. "Damn, you do know how to fake it really well," He remarked a bit dryly. "Your poor boy/girlfriends. I think that's enough, Cassanova; the others should have gotten the message by now."

Once dressed, he cracked open the door and peered outside. The hallway was clear, and if the blueprints he'd stolen off the internet was anything to go by, the doorway at the far end would have a servant door that led all the way to the basement. It almost seemed too easy.

Shutting the door, he nodded to himself and shrugged into his jacket. He was relieved to see that she'd traded in the miniskirt for something bit more practical, and eyed the weapons on the bed. With care, he picked up a moderately sized pistol and handed it to her, butt first. "I hope you remember your dad's shooting lessons," He drawled, going to arm himself once she'd taken the gun. "Just take that; might come in handy...and please, don't try to shoot me. Your mom would kick my ass if I shot you back. Now, let's move out. We're headed toward the basement, 'cause things like these are normally that cliche."

Without waiting for an answer, he went to the door and quietly opened it. The coast was still clear and as quietly as he could, he crept toward the servant's door. The sounds of laughter and light voices sounded from downstairs and he glanced over at the staircase, tensing when he heard a board creek. Nothing came of it, so he kept moving, motioning for Kay to stay tight on his ass. Thankful for his father's lock picking skills, he was able to have the door open in a jiff, and started the climb down. The staircase was covered in cobwebs and grime and he resisted the urge to glance back at Kay, if only to see her girlish reaction to the less-than-subpar conditions.

"Remember; shoot the monster, not my ass," He said quietly, flicking on his flashlight.
"Now, let's go kill this thing so we can get outta here. Been married to you for a half hour and I already need a couple drinks."

MAKAYLA: It had to be sort of weird that neither of them really could look at each other and neither really knew it. She was trying to be her normal usual self when around him. Telling him it wasn't her that took his stuff the last time unless he had proof. Faking the sex would be easy for her. She after all is her momma's daughter and she was sure her momma faked it a lot when she was young. The stories Kayla would here.. Sometimes they were ewww i don’t want to know that kind of things. He had commented on her poor boyfriends and girls friends with the really knowing how to fake it, but hell if they knew what they were doing she didn't have to. Kayla rolled her eyes at him, and flopped on the bed when she had been told it has been enough. She still couldn't really look at him too much, but one thing Makayla Rose was good at was hiding her feeling and denying them and acting like a cold hearted biotch her siblings especially Tams could vouch for that one. Once he was dressed and ready he peeked out the door, half of her wanted to throw one of the knifes at his head for dragging her on this mission.. DAMN this! It is his bloody fault! The other half just wanted to jump him.. damn it. God really is so cruel. She kept telling her head to shut up, and the coast was clear the sooner they could get out of here. She couldn't help, but watch as he tugged on his jacket and how it hugged him just right in all the right places. Her head normally would be yelling at her that this was Ben. It must be how this thing works. Makes couples more lustful for each other till they kill each other maybe? She was trying to figure this out but her head was buzzing about a little still could be from the booze she had drank or well other things on her mind. He had held a pistol at her, but before giving it to her commented on hoping she didn't forget her daddy's shooting lessons. Makayla huffed and rolled her eyes at him once more before taking it and tucking in into the small of her back sliding her own jacket on. " Oh now, I wouldn't want to shoot you in the ass now. I would have to listen to you moan and baby you." She drawled. " and that is far too much to deal with." She said under her breath not knowing if he heard any of it. She loved how he said not to shoot him again and that her momma would kick his ass if he shot her back. " Awwww don't want to deal with my momma, Ben? She isn't as bad as Auntie Lexi I am sure. Auntie Lexi would curse you from here and to the moon.. " she had said with a soft giggle. Lexi was the one with loads of powers, but Kayla's momma surely could kick some ass. Her momma did take care of that professor fromt he Academy after all.. Kayla followed quietly behind him. She had mastered the sneaking about in school. She always snuck about. She was sly like a fox when it came to the sneaking. They were going to the basement, and they quietly made their way to the servents corners and he picked the lock and she couldn't help but snicker under her breath as a board creaked and giggles could be heard from down stairs. It made her wonder if the inns keepers were behind this and what could be in store for them? Would they be young forever? She stayed tight on his ass, and surely couldnt stop looking at it and part of her wanted to give it a pinch, but she bit her lip and told herself no no no.. fuck she is in hell now isn't she damn... She followed him down the cobweb infested stair ways there was dirt and grime everywhere it looked like now one had been down here in some time. She scrunched up her nose. but hell she could deal with dirt. She didn't mind getting dirty. She is Makayla Rose loved playing in the dirt and making mud pies and stuff when she was little. She may dress all girly and look like a helpless lil thing, but she was far from it on most occassions. Ben had told her again shoot the monster not his ass, and she glared at the back of his head. " Don't flatter yourself, Winchester I wouldn't want to baby you or have to explain how your ass got shot so it is safe now if you keep reminding me I am going to have to kick your ass down the rest of these bloody stairs." She spat with the normal Makayla spitfire tone, but hell could she even follow threw with that right now? He said to lets get this thing so they can get out of there and that they have been married too long and he already could use a drink. " You and me both, a few drinks and a nice bubbly bubble bath." She would need one after this night with all the creepy crawly things. " Oh look a spider. how cute." She picked it up and stuck it on him especially for them comments she can't kick him down the stairs so the next best thing stick a creepy crawly hair spider on him and see if he freaks or could keep calm. She kept scrunching up her nose all cutely because the dust was bothering her a little bit, She stayed tight on him, and let her eyes following the flash light to see if she could spot anything, " What's that she?" asked and pointed to something that maybe a door that they would have to fight with to get open. It looked like it has been there for hundreds of years it is possible it could be a panic room fall out shelter of some sorts like bobby had. She was almost down the stairs. when her sneaker lace got caught on some nail sticking up at the bottom of the stairs, and she feel down on top of him...oh how the horror has already begun. Damn whoever is making shit like this happen needs to stop. She grumbled. "Sorrrry" part of her didn't want to move. This was why she hated sneakers and laces and fricken nails for that matter. She wanted to kiss him again, and quickly scattered off him and, reached her hand down to help him up. She had twisted her ankle a little as she had fallen down, but played it off as if she were okay and was just peachy. She could soak it and rest it later they had a job to do. INTERMISSION. During this brief interval, please excuse our two main players, as they continue to gripe and yell at one another. Kayla’s friend, the spider, Steve, is the one making Ben scream so loudly; which does not, strangely enough, bring the other guests rushing to their secret hiding place. And the brief sexual tension that occurs, when Ben realizes his ‘wife’ is lying on all his manly parts ended soon enough…thanks to the sudden appearance of a gangly ghost who manages to throw our heroine across the room. She falls through a rotting door, into a strangely large room, equipped with two crypts; those befitting a man and a woman buried together after death. Ben, distraught upon seeing his companion’s plight, opened fire on the heinous spirit and dislodged it from their presence with the cutting embrace of rock salt. All was well for the moment, but once Ben entered the tomb in search of Makayla, a white mist rose up from the crypts and enveloped them. -insert dramatic music here- And now, back to our regularly scheduled program. MAKAYLA:

She had been trying to crawl out of the tomb when the white mist had gotten her too and sent her back into the tomb she cracked open, and she could hear Ben calling at her, but now she had a fricken headache because she bashed her head pretty good and could feel some blood seeping near the side of her face... " lovely the night got worse.' she thought to herself.. She heard the coffin crack a little more and then Ben was again asking her if she was okay.. "No... i think i am being violated by a skeleton.........ewwwwwww..." She had groaned. " Its hand is on my asssss or at least i think it is a hand." She was disgusted now. " I am gonna have to take a shower for weeks to get this smell off me.." she coughed out between the gagging on the smell. " Is it gone?" she asked as she tried to get back out of the tomb again, She knew she was probably bruised to hell and was surely gonna be sore in the morning being a fling toy.

She could hear him gagging too.. " Are you okay??" She asked. She knew she would be fine unless she hoped she would be and didn't break anything. She didn't want to even try to stand up. Can you blame her? "What was that mist?? Have you ever seen anything like it? You hunt more then me."


BEN:

Ben breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Kay's irritated voice. She was saying something about being violated, which got his hackles up, but the following 'ewww' had him realizing she was merely talking to herself. Ah, gah, but he had the worst taste in his mouth! It was like...old socks mixed with moldy cheese...blech. He was going to throw up, he just knew it.

Pushing himself to his feet, he cursed when the room proceeded to tilt and his legs give way. Okay, so having white mist rape one's upper orifices made one vertically challenged...definitely not cool. Using a nearby coffin for balance, he tried it again and grimaced at the protest from his lower parts. Damn, but he felt...weak, all of a sudden. What the hell had that thing done to him? When Kay's voice sounded again, he pushed himself toward her and shuffled through the debris.

"I don't know, but it tasted like ass," He answered, managing a wobbly kneel as he went down on one knee beside her. "I think it's gone...but until we know what the hell just happened, I think we'd better get outta here. Out of the entire frikken inn and away from this damned place. C'mon, Kay; get that fine ass moving." Taking her by the arm, he managed to pull her up without losing his own tentative balance. Keeping his arm around her waist- he was not going to think about how good that felt- he used her as a human crutch and hoped she'd do the same. The climb back upstairs was definitely tricky, but they managed and the Hunter practically threw himself at their room. Downstairs, there were still sounds of happy conversation, and he had to bite back the urge to throw something at the couples. Stupid, ignorant dweebs.

Once inside their room, he butt-chucked the door shut and led her to the bed. Still feeling as if he were walking on choppy water instead of hardwood floorboards, he made it to the bathroom and stuck his head under the sink.

“Are you feeling alright?" He asked her, as he splashed water on his face. "That mist...it felt like it went inside me. And I heard...a voice, I guess." He glanced over his shoulder at her.

"How about you?"


MAKAYLA:[/size]

Kayla was of course okay even thought she was bleeding she was okay and she just wasn't too keen about the mist she had been gagged with and tasted rancid. She didn't like the skeleton hand on her either, but over all she would indeed live. Ben had tried to make his way threw the debris of everything leave it to her to make a mess and get a bit hurt eh? She asked if it had been gone adn he thought so and neither of them wanted to stick around and find out. He had told her it tasted like ass.. " So you know what ass tastes like have you been licking a few." She taunted. Yes, leave it to Kayla to have a witty ass remark to that right... " You're right we should get the hell out of here.. "She herself was clueless as to what the fudge attacked them and she didn't want to stick around to find out either. She felt gross... He had pulled her up, and told her to get her fine ass up and she arched a brow at that did he just realize that he called her ass fine? 'so he has been thinking my ass is fine…she smirked to herself.' They had used each other to balance one another, to head out of the cellar of the place before whatever it was that attacked them came back. She didn't even want to think about how good it felt to have him hold her close and tried to think nothing of it as they made their way back to the room.

They had made it back to t he room as quickly as possible making it past the happy couples she glared daggers at them as they pasted as her mind raced about what could possibly be going on. Things went by like a blur, Ben hip chucking the door and them being in the room, to her plopping down on the bed. Her head hurt like a bitch as if she had been slapped in the head with a two by four. he had went into the bathroom to clean up. He was telling her how he felt like it was inside him.. " I feel that too and it is odd, what the hell could that have been? It couldn't have been a demon... we all have anti possession charms to keep out demons. " I am okay.. I feel like i was hit in the head with a two by four.. who knows maybe i was." She had said shrugging her shoulders from where she was now sprawled across the bed not wanting to move. Covered in dirt and debris.. she didn't care she didn't want to move anymore not for a few minutes at least.. She knew she had a cut somewhere on her head she could feel it when she was tossed back into the casket. "Maybe you should call your friend who sent us here and ask him about a white mist?" She said she could still hear the water going in the bath room. A spider was crawling on her too and she didn't flick it away, Ben would probably run around screaming again. So she best give him fair warning... " Hello, Steve..." She had said to the creepy crawler. She didn't see why people were scared of them.


INTERLUDE.
What? None of you need to pee? Go get some popcorn? Maybe take out the trash and do some housework? Well, either way, our hero has dropped off to sleep, unknowingly curling his body around our heroine’s. He’ll regret it later, but…that’s another story.


MAKAYLA:[/size]

She watched him as he drooped off to sleep her seemed peaceful there, and shortly after she had drifted off to sleep, and curled up into him laying her hand on his chest which was very untypical kayla... this was Ben for Christsake what the hell..... hours had passed and they both had been asleep now for a bit and had a semi decent nap or so it felt like hours, she started to toss and turn in bed, she had was having nightmares of the men from her past the ones that abused her in ways she would never ever wish upon her most hated enemy. Most of the family knew of her tramatic past with men.. Tameryn was the one who seen the bluntness of it and the things Kayla had ended up doing to herself.. she may act all tough as nails, but she has her breaking points... She had been violated...She had vidid horrific dreams of that night..

" No, stay away.." She began to toss and turn.."Get off of me." she yelled, and acted as if she was trying to push someone away and Ben would probably think she was tying to kick his ass outta the bed and not that she was having a nightmare of the passssed. " No..stop." She screamed and slapped him from wherever he was. " NOOOOOOO" she said and tried to push the person the person in her head away.. tears, actually began to seep from her eyes as she slept.. it was that night over again in her head and she thought it was real and that night Makayla the tough as nails girl everyone seen actually did cry.. She didn't break easy, but that broke her..


BEN:

Unlike Kay, whose dreams seemed to fling her into painful memories, Ben had never felt so rested in his life. There was a warm body curled up against his own, the feeling of soft, warm breath on his neck and a pleasant weight against his chest. It grounded him; comforted him, made him think of lazy Sundays and pancake breakfasts. It was a strange feeling, one that he wasn't used to...and man if it didn't make him long for some kind of white picket fence and a few screaming kids. His fuzzy mind practically balked at the thought, and with a sleepy grumble, he rolled over and pulled the warmth next to him even closer.

...Which was about when his lazy Sunday became a hell-fury Monday.

With a loud curse, Ben found himself jerked awake by said warm body doing
somersaults across the bed, as well as a nice smack across the face. His own hand flying up to his abused cheek, he looked down at the flailing Kay. Confusion, irritation and finally concern flashed into his chest, and he fought against her as she tried to push him off the bed.

"Kay! Kay, it's Ben! You're just dreaming!" He had to yell over her own howling voice, and not knowing how else to react, he restrained her. Pinning her beneath his body, he caught her wrists in his hands and kept them above her head. What the hell kind of dream was she having?

"Kay, wake up! It's Ben! You're safe, darlin; just listen to my- OW- voice. You're just dreaming! WAKE UP, KAY!"


MAKAYLA:

She had actually been comfortable and content in her sleep till she started to dream. Who would have thought she would curl up next to Winchester here and be content about it and now pushing him out of the bed or something...pretty soon after she started to dream the contentness slipped away and she began to thrash around unaware what was going on around her, and that she had just slapped Ben awake..Yes, he probably thought it was something she would do purposely, but this was by accident and wasn't done purposely. Reliving these dreams these were something that hadn't plagued her in sometimes. Makayla Rose was now in her own little personal hell due to the curse that they had been inflicted upon them do to this hunt.. Kayla, she had even went to see a trusted family friend who was a shrink to get past this ordeal. That had been the ordeal that set her off on men and made her hate them so much besides those who she knew would never hurt her, and now with the curse she was set to relive them memories and she would rip open the flesh wounds she had tried so hard to bury. She was stuck inside the dream reliving the past and it was making her cry.

The more he would struggle with her the louder the screams would get and telling him to get away and get off her, and kept telling him no... and the man in her dream telling her that she did and that she was nothing more then a teasing lil slut. She had to be screaming about bloody murder by now before his voice began to cut threw the horrific dream state she had been in. Now, she had debris and mascara trickling down her face from her tears.. " I don't" she stammered out. " no, please don't. I am begging you. No.." she spoke, as her head still began to thrash about. " Don't touch me." He was now basically on top of her pinning her down so she couldnt push, and slap him any more or thrase around wildly.. He had to yell at her to wake up and that she was just dreaming and that she was safe.. and with him she was safe he wouldn't hurt her not in that way.... She had woke up and blinked at him, and tried to put on the kayla fascade of I am okay there is nothing wrong i am A okay like always brick wall she hides behind... blinking a bit bringing herself bac to reality of things waking to see him on top of her." Kinky Winchester.. What do you think you are doing?" She asked trying to pretend nothing happened and would hope that he wouldn't push her to talk... Her face was still tear stained. She was dying on the inside of the with the thoughts of them dreams she was still shaking slightly beneath him from the violent dream that had been torturing her..

INTERLUDE. What? None of you need to pee? Go get some popcorn? Maybe take out the trash and do some housework? Well, either way, our hero has dropped off to sleep, unknowingly curling his body around our heroine’s. He’ll regret it later, but…that’s another story. MAKAYLA:

She watched him as he drooped off to sleep her seemed peaceful there, and shortly after she had drifted off to sleep, and curled up into him laying her hand on his chest which was very untypical kayla... this was Ben for Christsake what the hell..... hours had passed and they both had been asleep now for a bit and had a semi decent nap or so it felt like hours, she started to toss and turn in bed, she had was having nightmares of the men from her past the ones that abused her in ways she would never ever wish upon her most hated enemy. Most of the family knew of her tramatic past with men.. Tameryn was the one who seen the bluntness of it and the things Kayla had ended up doing to herself.. she may act all tough as nails, but she has her breaking points... She had been violated...She had vidid horrific dreams of that night..

" No, stay away.." She began to toss and turn.."Get off of me." she yelled, and acted as if she was trying to push someone away and Ben would probably think she was tying to kick his ass outta the bed and not that she was having a nightmare of the passssed. " No..stop." She screamed and slapped him from wherever he was. " NOOOOOOO" she said and tried to push the person the person in her head away.. tears, actually began to seep from her eyes as she slept.. it was that night over again in her head and she thought it was real and that night Makayla the tough as nails girl everyone seen actually did cry.. She didn't break easy, but that broke her..


BEN:

Unlike Kay, whose dreams seemed to fling her into painful memories, Ben had never felt so rested in his life. There was a warm body curled up against his own, the feeling of soft, warm breath on his neck and a pleasant weight against his chest. It grounded him; comforted him, made him think of lazy Sundays and pancake breakfasts. Jesus Christ! If he hadn't known any better, he would've thought that he was hurting her, by the way she squirmed and fought against his hold. Almost frantically, he did his best to keep her pinned so she wouldn't hurt herself, while shock and a dawning realization began to unfurl in his chest. He'd never seen this side of the elder Rhys-Damara before. The way she cried out and proceeded to really pitch a sleepy fit when he hefted himself over her...there was really only one reason why a woman would react in such a way, dreaming or no.

And, just like that, a white hot anger proceeded to replace all other emotion. Someone had hurt her...HER, the unhurtable Makayla, so badly that she still had nightmares about it. God, did her parents know? Did her siblings? Did Simi, or Chey? And when the hell had this happened? She'd never mentioned it, and he'd never heard from his parents or one of his siblings about her being...like this. Had she kept it all to herself? Bottled away, hoping that she would forget?

The questions whirled around in his head and he gritted his teeth against the utter rage that built inside him. It shocked him; the potency of it, the way that it made him want to slap her back to reality and get the name of her attacker, so he could rip the fucker to little pieces. He'd take his time; make him scream for death, then draw it out even longer. He'd hunted so many monsters over the years that he knew every trick, and he could make the fucker suffer for an eternity.

But what really made him pause on top of her, as she continued to thrash and cry out for him to 'stop,' was when protectiveness reared its very uninvited head. It was a feeling that went a bit passed simple family ties and into territory that he really didn't want to think about. And least of all now, when Kay was just about ready to claw his wrists off in order to get away. The poor girl...how long had she been holding all this shit inside?

He let loose a loud breath of relief when those familiar eyes opened and peered up at him widely. He saw a flicker of surprise, right before the usual nonchalant expression fell onto her face, and he inwardly groaned at the sight of it. Oh crap, here it came...and he wasn't disappointed.

Slowly, as if he were afraid she'd lash out at him again, Ben allowed his hand to drift down from where they were planted around her wrists, until they reached her cheek. There was an intense look on the hunter's face as he wiped away a stray tear and his voice was just as strained as the rest of him.

"Don't even try that with me, Makayla," He said, jaw working for a minute. Knowing that she'd try to pull away from him and play it off as nothing, he sought to get some answers while her defenses were down. "What the hell just happened?"


MAKAYLA:

Of course Makayla was trying to play it as nothing is wrong, but of course Winchester here knew better then that. She had tried to claw him to death and push him the hell away in her sleep and had been screaming at him to get off her. Well it wasn't exactly him it was the man in her dream, but she still tried to claw Ben pretty good and had slapped him so simply acting as if things were peachy keen wasn't going to fly and she knew that, but she had to try the whole Makayla. I am fine fascade even if he wouldn't buy it. Who would buy that really with the tears that had fallen from her eyes. How many people have seen her cry? Not many. Makayla Rose isn't one to cry! She can suck it up and put a brave face and a stone cold wall for most things. Not many things can break her, but that dream was one thing that could. It was one thing she tried so hard to bury. She knew Ben wouldn't leave it alone. She had that feeling in her gut. It wasn't something she actually wanted to talk about either. She went to a see a shrink and was doing good why did the dreams start coming back now? Was she being punished? Was god punishing her or something? Dreaming about it made her feel sick. It made her feel dirty. It sometimes made her feel like it was all her fault, but it wasn't. She had never felt so helpless in her life. Who would ever believe something of the sorts could have happened to her.

Ben had let go of her wrists and she knew that he wouldn't hurt her she was no longer dreaming. She could kick his ass if he tried to hurt her. She didn't expect, him to brush her stray tears away for her. It felt nice and soothing to her, and for a minute there she nuzzled into his touch, but quickly stopped when her head began to spin at things and him asking her what had happened, but hell it looks like there is a gentlemen in there somewhere or maybe it was just sheer worry for her it made her wonder which it was? Had to be the worry they are sort of like family in a way and she knew questions had to be spinning around in his own head, but really if she was screaming in her sleep she had to figure it out. She was shocked no one else had came running and knocking on their door thinking he was a rapist of something. She didn't know she was screaming,,, Makayla bit her lip and looked at him blankly when he asked her what the hell that was?. " Come on Benjamin... You're a smart do I really have to spell it out for you? " She had said sighing, and tried to scoot away from him. She frowned softly, closing her eyes for a minute before looking at him. He really did look conserned for her and it was sweet. She didn't think she would ever see this side of him, but hell she didn't think he would ever see her cry either so today surely was full of suprises. It was a hard thing for her to talk about. Hell she had a hard time telling her parents about it when it happened, but she did. Could she tell him? She knew she could trust him yes, but it was still hard to talk about.

She gulped and tried to put on her brave big girl face on. She didn't push him away or anything she just scooted a little till her back was against the headboard and her knees pulled to her chest. " I was raped." she had said in a whisper, that he probably couldn't even hear. Perhaps she didn't want him to hear she said it so softly." What do you want me to tell you Ben? You can't fix it.." She said softly her gaze turned from him to the floor.." You can't make it go away... it was just a nightmare, Ben. I am fine really I'll be okay.. Nothing a bottle of Whiskey can't fix...." she told him, snorting and chuckling as if something were funny, but it wasn't it was more of a painful chuckle. " I am sorry If i tried to beat you up in my sleep. Are you okay? " She was hoping he'd drop it, but knowing Ben he wouldn't. She began to shiver softly. This place was giving her the willy's and that dream made her feel sick to her stomach. " I need to get out of here. I think i need some fresh air." She told him.

BEN: Finally giving into her need for him to back off, Ben hefted himself off of her and sat back on his heels. He was still in his boots and dirty jeans and had probably stripped off his shirt while he was entering a nightmare-less dreamland. Feeling a bit strange, now that the moment was broken, he glanced around for it and tugged it over his head. He almost had his head through the correct hole when she started speaking...and he froze. God, he'd been hoping that it was something else; that he was just imagining things, and Kay had been dreaming about some kind of...devil dog, or something. Her admission made all those 'what if's' a reality and he gritted his teeth against the urge to hurt someone. More specifically, whoever had hurt her. At the same time, he wanted to pull her right into his arms and take away the pained look on her face; the one haunted by such dark memories. But he wasn't sure how either action would be taken and he contented himself with sitting on the edge of the bed, close to her. His jaw clenched and unclenched, and he took a moment to collect himself, to make sure his voice was even, before speaking again. "I never knew," He said softly, looking up at her. "God...if I had known, I'd have hunted the fucker down and tore him to pieces. Jesus, Kay...I'm so sorry." What else was he supposed to say? He knew nothing could take away the pain she'd felt, and the horror she obviously felt in the night. Shifting, he felt the urge to take her into his arms again, but knew the strong willed Makayla wouldn't appreciate such an act. Shaking his head at her apology, he eyed her, then snagged his jacket from the floor and settled it gently around her shoulders. "I've been hurt worse than that. You punch like a girl, you know. But...alright. Let's leave this dump; maybe go back to your place and do some research on whatever the hell happened to us downstairs. I don't think anyone's awake yet, so we can sneak out." Pushing himself off the bed, he scooped up his stuff and shoved it into his duffel, before grabbing her own bag and sliding it over his shoulder. That strange, possessive need to wrap her up in his arms came boiling up to the surface, and he blinked at its intensity. If he didn't know any better, he'd have thought he'd...cared for her. In a way that he was only used to caring for those nameless brunettes in backroad bars. Weird. Obviously getting kneed in the kidneys made a guy a bit crazy. MAKAYLA: She was glad he had given her space when she backed away from him to settle against the headboard. If he tried to pull her closer to him she wouldn't have protested she knew she was safe with him, and her parents would kill him if he ever tried to hurt her part of her in some weird way wanted him to pull her close and just hold her tight. Perhaps with what happened was whys he liked to cuddle up to people in bed who knows. She likes feeling safe in her own bed, and knows those close to her won’t hurt her at all. Ben has a sister so she knows that he wouldn't. She looked down at the floor as he was rummaging about for his shirt that seemingly had made its way off and usually she would joke with him about him stripping in his sleep, but she didn't. She admitted things softly, and had told him he was a smart dude to figure it out and watched as he tried to get his head into the right shirt hole and usually she would laugh at him and tell him he is lame for having to fuss with the shirt to find the right whole. She may smack his ego down a bit at times, but he is a smart dude, and he seemingly did figure it out. She looked at him as her head laid on her knees and could see his jaw unclench and clench, as if he were trying to bite back some sort of anger or something, before he had spoken and apologized, and said he didn't know. She couldn't have expected him too really she hides it well. Only a few people knew. It wasn’t something the hard ass Makayla Rose who seems unhurt able likes to advertise. " You, don't have to apologize, Ben “ She told him, he seemed so sweet with wanting to rip the dude bits, and it placed a small grin on her lips as she bit one side of it. She hid her face in her knees for a moment so he couldn’t see the slight blushy tinge on her cheeks from what he had said. “You can’t tell anyone, Ben. I have loads of skeletons in my closet that most don’t know about and that is one of them. The only people that know are my parents, the man from the academy who did it, and Tameryn and now you. Promise me you won’t tell.” She said almost pleading with him not to tell anyone. “You know me it was probably my own fault anyways.” She had spoken softly, not knowing if he heard that and of course he would probably tell her what her parents had it wasn’t her fault. It was the man who did so, and didn’t stop when she said too. Would he have even heard that it was someone at the Academy they went to that did it? She really didn’t want him to tell anyone. It was embarrassing and she didn’t know why she was having dreams now about it. She had mad good and tried to move on it was why she went Lesbian. “Sure it happened ages ago, but still I Please.” She begged. I don’t want anyone to know. Please don’t say a thing wasn’t like Makayla to beg and well the both seemed to have done some begging tonight that usually neither would have done. She had even apologized for hitting him in her sleep, which was not like her. He had picked his jacket off the floor and wrapped it around her. She chewed at her bottom lip, and closed her eyes for a moment and in some odd way; his jacket around her gave her some comfort. She must be sick or something eh? She hoped he didn’t feel horrible now for making her play his wife at this gig. She didn’t expect she would have freaked out at him like she had, but he was being sweet and gentle now. A side of him she never really thought she would see. “ Ha-ha, funny beat your ass and hurt you worse if I had wanted to, just remember the snow banking.” She said and giggled a little. That had been the first time he seen that small flicker of fear in her, but Makayla was good at keeping things buried, bad putting on that stone cold wall. He had agreed with her about getting out of there she needed air. This place made her feel like the walls were closing in on her. He told her they could sneak out that he thought most were asleep and they can go to her place to do some research. “Sounds like a plan, Batman,” She watched as he gathered their things and threw them over his shoulder. “ If you are lucky I might make you some pancakes.” she got up out of the bed, her head was throbbing again something about this place was really off. “Do you want this back and to put it on?” She asked motioning to his jacket, and scanned the room as she walked closer to make sure they didn’t forget anything hell anything else they could just get another one. She had opened the door for them, “Let’s leave this popsicle stand.” She said grabbing the hand that didn’t have the bags to pull him out the door. She wanted out and she wanted out…now BEN:

Pushing the back higher on his shoulder, Ben sighed and leaned sideways on the doorjam. He had no idea why no one came running to their room and kicked down the door- he sure as hell would have, given Kay's yells- but one peek out into the hallway showed no one had budged from wherever they'd ended up after dinner. It was a disturbing thought; yet another reason to leave the inn as quickly as possible. There was definitely something funky going on in the place, and he didn't want Kay anywhere near it. Not as she was.

The thought made him frown and pause, while he absently listened to her move around the room behind him. She was as she always was; all bluster and sarcasm. But now that he knew what had happened to her...gah, everything seemed different. He wanted to pick her up and set her in his car; keep her safe in some padded room somewhere. The protective feeling washed over him, confusing the hell out of him for a minute. He almost thanked her out loud when she started talking to him, focusing on her words like a lifeline.

"I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to. You can trust me on that, Kay," He said, meeting her eyes with a solemn little nod. And he wouldn't; Winchesters as a rule didn't blab. What had happened to her was horrible, but he understood her need to keep it in the past. He was already thinking of her differently, seeing things hidden in those caustic barbs she threw at him that he hadn't before. He definitely understood why she'd want to keep that change to a minimum. He would have wanted the same thing.

And he'd make it a point to treat her the same, to boot. Sure, the need to protect was practically screaming as loud as the need to kill the person who'd hurt her, but he of all people had to understand how returning to one's 'normal' life was so important after a traumatic experience. After being through so many hunts and seeing so many things, with his family, friends and even complete strangers...he liked to flee to his car, the open road and a flirty blonde. It was a way to escape all that pain and let the memories of what haunted him at night fade away.

But none of that really stuck when she uttered those few words. He'd barely heard them, given how soft her voice had gotten, but it had set his blood boiling yet again. He ignored everything else she said; the kicking his ass comment, the need to leave, the other little comments she made. He just waited for her to pick up her bag, then caught her arm in a firm, yet gentle grip when she came to stand next to him at the door. He knew that she could be a bit twitchy about physical contact at the moment, so soon after her nightmare...but he had to touch her. He had no idea why, but he just had to.

"Let's get one thing straight, Makayla," He said, voice also low. He'd caught her right as she was about to pass him, so she was only a scant few inches away from him; her shoulder brushing against his chest. The softness of the touch made shivers shoot up his spine, but he ignored them. "What happened to you? It was NOT your fault. I ain't letting you leave until you accept that. It was that shit's fault for being a sick fuck, not yours. It was never your fault."


MAKAYLA:[/size]

This inn was creepy and was only making her feel worse like something was twisting her gut from the inside out was it the guilt of what had happened to her? God knows. It was so long ago. She was fidgety being here, and she wasn’t being her normal self, ever since they went down stairs she felt different and ever since she stepped foot in this inn she felt feelings towards Ben. Feeling that shouldn’t be there. She had begged him to not say anything to anyone, and he told her that she could trust him and if she didn’t want him to say anything he wouldn’t and she would hold him to that. If he tells any one, she’d just have to bite out his tongue, which the thought of that made her stomach lurch more which wasn’t normal for her she really needed some air “Thank you.” She had murmured softly she just wanted to keep it between those who know, but Benjamin doesn’t know all the other crazy shit, she tried to do after that incident. Perhaps that is something to save for a later time and not here. He was being sweet and in some way, she liked it? Her head was telling her it was wrong, but in other ways it just felt so right and she felt protected around him even if she could hold her own and he now scratched beneath the surface of her defenses who ever would have thought he’d get that far?

Though just because he knows would that really change anything between them? She thinks he still would need his ego smacked back every now and again. She had gathered her stuff and wanted to get out of their fast and he had to have heard about what she said under her breath. Daddy must have tried him to have bat ears or something. She had said it in a mumble. He had caught her arm as she tried to slip out the door and make a break to get out of there it was deadly quiet in the halls it made her shiver softly, but was it the quietness that made her shiver or his words and the feel of her pressed against him? Her words and breath were caught in her thought for a moment as she tried to register the words and being grabbed she usually would slap him, but she didn’t. She gazed into his eyes and could tell he was serious about it not being her fault, and not leaving till she admitted it wasn’t and made her arch a brow, she let her bag drop to the floor, beside her feet pressing her hand against the outside door jam and just looked at him with her soft brown eyes and big lashes, she could probably sake her way out of this and she knew it, but he was right everyone told her it wasn’t her fault, but a small sliver sometimes felt that way, but it has made her a stronger person. She can now handle her own, and has that hardness about her.

She had reached up, her hand and brushed his cheek why she had no idea. It was weird how sweet he was being with her and even thought he probably was bracing himself for her to smack him it hadn't come. She listened to his soft and subtle words, and stood on her tippy toes kissed his cheek "Okay Ben, it wasn't my fault. Your right. I know it wasn't, but sometimes it just feels like it was. Deep down i know it wasn't," She said, giving him the big puppy dog eyes and slight pout. " Can we please leave now?"

“ I want to get out of here this place doesn't feel right. I have to go. It's freaking me out. I don't like it." She said " Please let's go," she softly .. " I promise it wasn't my fault." She said still stroking his cheek. You would think that she'd be the one that needed the comforting, and perhaps she does, but in some small way being clothes to him the way he smelled, the feel of his skin against hers was comforting and she liked it. She knew he would keep her secret and she was safe with him, and what more could a girl ask for right?

Damn...for a moment there, Ben forgot that he was looking into his childhood enemy's eyes and actually thought them pretty. He could feel soft curves pressing into his chest and along his belly; catch the sweet scent of...something rosy, underneath the overlaying reminder of the crypt they'd just barged in on, hours earlier. And when her palm touched his cheek, he had to catch himself before he bent his head down and stole a kiss. She was in the perfect position to recieve one, after all; looking up at him with that soft expression on her face, while her hand warmed his cheek. The gesture was tender, almost alien for the woman who owned the hand in question and it made a ball of that damned protectiveness build up in his chest. Even when her voice was recognized as familiar by his brain, it took him a minute to realize who he was speaking to.

Though, she'd never be the same, annoying Makayla again, would she? The thought made him uneasy, and an almost guarded look slid into his eyes, as he raised a hand up to hers. Taking it away from his cheek, he gave her fingers a squeeze, while his lips practically burned to be brushed against her knuckles. Good Lord, who the hell had transported him from the real world, into this crazy ass romance novel? Mentally slapping himself, he just gave her a smile and nodded. "Yeah, we can leave. Lead the way, babe."

Though it was him that ended up pulling her along, as he eyed each door and shadow for movement of any kind, he knew his own confusion was tugging him by the front of his shirt. Everything was weird; turned upside down. He didn't think MAKAYLA had kissable lips. He didn't imagine himself pressing said lips to MAKAYLA's knuckles! Nor did he freaking hold MAKAYLA's hand as he led her out to the Impala! Good Lord, it was the Invasion of the Pod People! Someone had replaced him with a freaking weirdo!

Throwing his stuff into the back seat, Ben quickly got into the driver's seat and buckled in. Once Kay was suitable seated, he practically gunned the engine, urging his baby down the drive as fast as her motor could let her. He didn't say it, but he definitely shared Kay's sudden dislike of the house. It was almost as if some kind of dark presence was...hovering over them, or something B-horror movie like that. He felt dirty, used in all the wrong ways, and if he didn't get a shower in the next few hours, he was going to be a very unhappy hunter.

Thank God that Kay's apartment wasn't too far away. With directions from her, he maneuvered them around traffic and down 'shortcuts', until they finally reached her place. He felt a bit weird, pulling up into the parking lot and eyeing one of the front windows of her building. For some reason, he felt the same way he did when he was hoping to get invited up for some 'coffee.' Oh, would the awkwardness ever cease!
