Ever’s dark eyes tracked the lone little clown fish as it made its way into a whole school of them before he turned his side-ways grin back to his girlfriend; chuckling quietly at her animated outburst. The man had known she would appreciate this place, especially with her adoration for the sea, and he wondered if a great big aquarium full of living things at the apartment might be the perfect way for him to express how much he enjoyed seeing her eyes light up at things that she enjoyed. He was still laughing softly as he took in her sheepish expression and bent his lips down to press against the crown of her head. “Silly.” He murmured quietly; turning to face the bar when the tender approached to take their order.
The young man was a drinker, but he had never pressured Rumour to do the same. Ever was well aware of her repugnance toward alcoholics (with good reason) and didn’t assume that just because he had a beer she would want one too, though he did quite enjoy when she surprised him with a desire for a cocktail. Ordering something he knew she would like, Ever kept the playful smirk at the corner of his lips when the bartender mixed the russet colored liquid quickly and then placed two matching tumblers before them.
He watched as she lifted the glass to her lips, his grin growing wider just before he did the same; taking in a deep swallow of the concoction. “Mmmmmmm…” An appreciative rumble came out of Ever’s throat and he set the drink back down on the counter; fishing out an ice cube with this fingers and popping it into his mouth before answering her question around it. “You can’t tell?” He responded with an inquiry of his own, gazing slyly at the vixen. “It’s a Godiva chocolate martini!”
Taking another heavy pull from the girlie drink he wiped some moisture off his upper lip with the back of his hand and then fished out another ice cube, munching noisily on it as he added as if an after thought. “You tell any body about this though Miss. Kitty and I swear no cat nip for you for a whole month.”
Ever chuckled teasingly and then turned his back to the counter, watching the moving bodies filling up the dance floor. Tilting his head side-ways at his girl, he wore a thoroughly impish expression. “How many of those will it take before I can get out there?” He asked, cocking his head to the dancers.

Weren't I meant to do somethin' tonight?!Whether she was or not, Shoshanna was doing what she normally did instead.... Drinking. Well and dancing. As of this moment she hadn't been smoking... and that oughta win her a medal or like... something... right?! She knew as well as most there was only really one place to be if you wanted to have a bit of fun. She didn't need to attract a guy to have fun, that was something she managed on her own... It was always a happy bonus though, right?! One too many mojitos and a few too many great beats had her moving her feet and swirling her hips seductively on the floor. That was until something, or should I say, someone, across the way caught her eye. Pushing off the hoard she'd acquired around her, and listening to the disgruntled groans, Shanna rolled her eyes and headed towards the familiar faces and oh too well known voices. Sliding across the bar until she collided with a delicate body ever so slightly. "Knowin' our Roo... Yur gonna have to fuck her up complete!" She said, grinning at Ever. "I ain't earwiggin' or nuffin' though!" It was a lie... She always was. Shoshanna knew everything and that was how she liked it. She quickly leaned over the bar and flashed enough cleavage to interest the bar keep and skip the queue she DEFINITELY wasn't at the front of. "One more mojito, Mr!" She wasn't sure if she oozed sex appeal or screamed slut... but she didn't reallllly care. (( i have no idea if this works, I just wanted to get you something. ))

CHOCOLATE? In truth, from the velvety texture of the liquid and the subtle hunt of cocoa on her tongue, Rumour probably should have guessed that the beverage at least contained something chocolately, but it was obvious from the way she looked at the tumbler in her hand that the very idea of an alcoholic beverage being this sweet, and this much like her favourite confection was ludicrous, given that her only experience with the stuff was one or two nights getting completely drunk just to see what it felt like; and the liquids she had been drinking then had been nothing as sweet as the one held between her fingertips now. How the hell did they even make chocolate alcohol?! Still, Rumour found herself sipping the dark cocktail once more, and quite enjoying the taste of the sweet liquid on her tongue.
Of course, the buzz that would probably worm it’s way inside her head later as payment for drinking on an empty stomach would quite likely be an entirely different story, but she was not about to dwell on that. The girl had dealt with hangovers before; both her own and other peoples.
”Cross my heart“ She grinned at him over the rim of her glass, straightening her back to cross her nail over her chest. ”It’s our little secret.“Sipping again, her own pale eyes followed the jerk of his head towards the thriving bodies on the dance floor, and Rumour felt her muscles tense at the prospect of being amongst that horde of bodies. When she had been blind, she had tried to avoid these places through fear of the unknown, of being in these loud noisy places and becoming disorientated, and now, despite the fact she could see them as clear as she could see the man sat in front of her, the idea still gripped her with fear. Blinking, she was about to answer with ‘at least once more’, when she found herself attached to another lithe frame. The smile on her face grew to a grin as she twisted to give the other girl a brief hug.
”Sho! I didn’t know you were out tonight!“ Rumour grinned, and downed the rest of her drink, turning back to Ever. ”Well, maybe not completely fucked... but i think one more. Then i promise you can both drag me out to dance.... though i’m warning you... i will do the Macarena“

Ever tracked the path of the little russet filled tumbler to her mouth. He inhaled sharply, holding it as his gaze fixed on the parting of her lips and the slip of her tongue just barely across the lower; the movement of her lithe throat as she swallowed the liquid and then finally lifting to catch the sparkle of contentment in her gem-colored eyes. It was amazing how the fox could make every single motion, no matter how innocent, sensual to him. His body warmed and he hurriedly took a gulp of his own; the sweet and cool liquid hitting his belly nice and wintery and touching his head with just a hint of haziness. He’d played pre-flight before coming to the bar. A few beers at home helped to start the buzz while the more expensive liquor out helped to finish it out.
Not that he was planning on getting shit-faced tonight or anything. If Rumour really did have as great a night as he hoped, then a reply of the afternoon events certainly wouldn’t be out of the question!
His breath was still caught in his chest as he waited for her response to his awkward invitation, but it slipped out in a surprised gasp when suddenly a familiar sassy blonde crashed into his date. Ever smiled leisurely on one side of his mouth, shaking his head in amusement at their temporary roomie’s proclamation before loosing a throaty chuckle. Sho was probably right though the young man had no intention of getting her fucked up unless she wanted to be, though the latter announcement that she hadn’t been eavesdropping was a tall tell he’d heard more times than not. Rumour’s friend was a fiery little female, and loved gossip more than the paparazzi.
Smirking, Ever downed the rest of his drink as well and gestured for two more when the bartender came around to bring Sho’s mojito. He leaned in closer to his girlfriend and absently whispered a finger across her collarbone, wondering if this ‘Macarena’ was anything like dirty dancing. The amnesiac still hadn’t caught up on everything he’d forgotten, including dance styles and movie lines.
“I’ll do the Macarena with you if you teach me how to…” He grinned at Rumour and then reached over to playfully shove their roomie. “Long as you promise not to let this one steal away from me tonight.”
He was smiling wide of course. Ever wasn’t a jealous man…well, not when it came to her girlfriends at least. Who was he to try and split up a pair that had been friends as long as these two?

Even Shoshanna's laugh sounded British. That way too excited cackle she had which consisted of her entire chest shaking, gnashers on full view and most people in vicinity looking to make sure a hyena hadn't broken in. As she lost her best friend's embrace so she could down her drink and address her boyfriend, she found it hilarious that Roo said she'd do the macarena. The best thing was that Shanna had no doubt what so ever she would do it. She remembered days of sitting around friends houses and Roo jumping up the second the music started and throwing her arms out and showing everyone how it was done. Shoshanna had been more interested than her Mojito than the conversation between the pair who'd been kindly letting the nutty blond share their apartment, so she was a little taken by surprise when she was suddenly shoved. "Oi!" With a playful scowl, Shanna quickly shoved him back before swapping the hand her drink was in, shaking her now free hand to try and rid it of the liquid dripping from it. "You owe me a drink!" She said, eventually giving up and wiping her hand on the material that barely covered her ass. It was strange to her to be stood there conversing. The music was still blaring, the beat running through her and making her ache to move, but instead she just started to sing along, her little head bobbing to the beat.

It was with a grin that rumour promised to show Ever the Macarena, and the lithe and small framed brunette could tell from the look in his eyes that was expecting some sort of sensual dancing rather than the children’s party favourite. Still, give either her or Shoshanna the Macarena, and possibly even the hokey pokey, and she was pretty sure that the two of them could make it one of the more riveting dances of the night, and provide more than one of the guys who would end up watching with an embarrassing problem in the trouser department.
Hey... Rumour was insecure about a lot of things, and it was obvious to most who knew her that there was probably pills for some of the things she hid away from the best of the world, but the girl was under no delusions when it came to making something appear sexy. How the hell did you think she passed high school?!
-taking the new drink and having a sip, she smirked as she watched the interaction between the past and the present, for truly that was one of the ways she saw things. She had Shoshanna, whom she had loved with all her heart in high school, the blonde who she had gotten into more trouble with than she could remember, the british big toothed girl who had broken her heart and stolen away from her, and who had now returned and filled a space Rumour had long since forgotten was empty, but was pretty sure she could never live without. Then there was the present, ever, the man who she hated and who found her up, and knew exactly how to press her buttons, but also the man who she knew, deep down, would never willingly hurt her... and who had known of her love for him long before she had ever realised. Sipping her drink and watching the two of them, Rumour realised something that she found surprising. She was truly, obliterating, and shatteringly, happy.
Slipping form the stool, she took one of their hands in each of hers and tugged in the direction of the dance floor.
”Come on, i wanna dance. “
