Life was busy. He swears it feels like the only time he is home is when it is dinner time and bedtime. Other then that he is at work. Jessica is growing up so fast, but at least she gets to see her grandma’s his parents had moved closer to them to see their little grand daughter. It was a change for all of them, but when the album was done maybe, he could relax a little bit. Wrapping it up would mean he was home more right? At least he hoped so. He has been married to Chey for a few months now. It was shocking to him when she had finally said yes after all the NO’s he had gotten, but he had been determined and he wasn’t giving up, and finally they got married a little ceremony with close friend and family. It was nice! All he wants to do is make her happy and their little girl happy. He doesn’t want anything to happen to them. He knows with that with Chey’s last name they will never really be safe, but it wasn’t like they could hide on a remote island could they? He’d enjoy that, but she surely wouldn’t. She was a busy little bee too. He hoped that things would settle soon, but as soon as one drama ends, another one slaps them in the face so it seems between family and friends, and weird calls saying they were in danger. In danger of what? He didn’t know, but when weren’t they in some sort of danger? Life was a dangerous mission and you never know when your time is up. He hoped it wouldn’t be his time anytime soon, but Deklan does fear that one day her brothers will kill him! One thing he fears is them. He shouldn’t, but they are like trained monster killers and are far more buff then he is… They are intimidating that was for damn sure. So here he was at an ice cream shop on his lunch break sitting there eating a brownie sundae, and enjoying the day. Halloween was coming up and eh knew that Jessica was going to want to go trick or treating. She was already telling him she wants to be a cowgirl then the next day a pretty princess. She was so undecided. He doesn’t even know what the girl is telling Chey she wants to be. He swears he doesn’t get to see her as much as he used to and she is his manager. Life was a funny thing. She has friends she try’s to help so he can’t blame her for not seeing her. Life would fall into place sometime. He was still trying to get Prim to lay off the sweets, but here he was eating some to get a sugar rush. She’d probably be laughing at him and be asking him where his salad was or something. After eating his Brownie Sundae, he went on his merry way and decided to pick up some candy. May as well start now right? He was sure they’d have loads of trick or treater's at their door. If they didn’t pass out candy, it would be more for that skinny rail Prim. He wonders where she puts it. She must have a hollow leg along with Chey. Those girls really know how to pack down the food and still manage to look good. After shopping for some candy Deklan decided to chill out at a coffee shop, and sit and take a break, checking his phone for any messages, and enjoying a nice cup of hot chocolate, seeing if anyone he knows comes on in here on their lunch break or threw out their busy day. Deklan would be polite and nod and tell the people good day as they passed by him. He was always taught with manors by his mother. Which if she had her way would be having Jessica doing the same in no time. |
