Eddie didn't elaborate about what Sebastian would have ordered though she felt she probably should. She merely feared the knowledge of how much her husband could put away on a good day would make her friend feel slightly ill. Instead she focused on making sure they got inside and locked up the car. She had to giggle at Maggie. No one ever could get used to the twin telepathy thing, truth was that until recently, there wasn't a person in the world that knew, it was probably easier that way but Eddie didn't care too much. It just amused her seeing the look on her friends face as she tried to work out how she got certain information from her twin. "You'll have to tell mason that, you know how good he is at stealth fry attacks!"
Eddie let Maggie head into the kitchen, shutting the front door and falling on the couch until she heard her friends voice. A shiver ran through Eddie and her hair stood on end, causing her to lift herself from the chair and head towards the kitchen, flicking the heating on as she wandered past and rubbing her arms to try and scare away the goosebumps. "A movie sounds good." She announced as she headed towards her. Quickly, Eddison shivered again. "Why is it so cold? It's April!" She was checking the windows and making sure they were all closed when she noticed the back door was open, pulling it quickly shut and lifting the handle to lock it. "Shoot. Do NOT tell Sebastian I left that open again."

Maggie couldn’t get over how siblings taunted and teased each other. She never grew up with it, never had the chance to really have that experience with her own family. Most of the time she felt that her life was just some weird movie that she was watching from the outside. There were so many things that she never experienced in life and now it was like she was finally living. No longer was she hiding in the shell of a school that she was forced to go to, keeping people at arm’s length away. Instead she was embracing it, having friends, an amazing boyfriend, a son. It was in these moments that she wished she could have her parents there, let them see what she’s become. To see that she is still their daughter and that she’s a survivor, all the way through. She shook her head violently to bring her mind back to the present. ”Well he better know better than to mess with mine, or I’ll take it out on one of his Star Wars toys,” she called out again in amusement. Oh boys and their toys.
A chill crept down her spine as she wrapped her arms around herself, hugging herself warm. Bare feet padded against the cold ground as she looked around confused. In the back of her mind she knew something wasn’t right, but she wasn’t sure what exactly was wrong. She ran a hand through her hair, pulling her arms tighter around herself as she follows her bestie’s voice. ”Do you guys have the A/C turned up full blast or something?” she muttered before she noticed the open door. ”You leave the door open often?” she started as her eyes looked around cautiously. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up as her hunting skills seemed to take over. Instinctively she started to reach for the closest object as protection, a pair of scissors. ”Don’t you guys have a security system or something? Seems like Sebastian would want one in a house like this.”

"Nope. No AC." If the AC had been on, she'd have noticed it when she turned the heat on but it wasn't. Eddie fiddled with the door for a moment, making sure it wasn't loose and wincing at Maggie's question. "I've left it open a couple of times... I've also put my keys in the fridge and tried to start the car with a carton of milk.... Needless to say I got that pregnancy brain all the books talk about.... I swear, I nearly left the house with odd shoes on last week!" She said as she eventually settled for locking the back door, just in case she messed up again. "There's alarms and stuff... It's safe.... But I think we all know that an alarm just means 'grab what you can while you can'." She shrugged slightly. "It's got motion detectors, and I turned it off when I came in so no one got in while we were out...."

Maggie frowned as she kept running one hand up and down her arm. The cold was just putting her on edge. With the scissors still clasped tight in one fist she looked around the room for a moment. Oh…yeah I guess that’s true…I never had it like that though. I think Coop would lock me up for good if he saw---“ she stopped talking at that knowing it would probably irritate the hell out of her dear friend in front of her. Instead she moves towards the door, watching her close it as she appraised whether something did that first. It was a horrible thing to be always on guard but that was the hunter in her. ”I never really understand the alarms, we have them at our place now but he says its to protect us when Parker gets here. Something about always being on guard or something,” she started as she eventually set the scissors down on the table next to them. Maggie gave her a gentle nod as it seemed to calm her nerves down just a tad. She reached out and ruffled Eddie’s hair gently, ”It will be our little secret,” she teased as she started back towards the living room.

Her immature side came right to the surface as Maggie ruffled her hair and Eddie scrunched up her face and stuck out her tongue. "Thanks babe. Means a lot." Eddie wasn't a hunter, but after everything she'd been through it was hard to not be on guard a lot of the time. Her hand delicately grazed the bottom of her stomach as she took one last look around her before ultimately following her best friend. "Feel free to grab a film and just stick it on....." She said, her words soon falling to nothing as she heard a creek upstairs. Her body turned quickly and she held onto the door frame, looking up. "BASSIE? BABY ARE YOU HERE??" She waited a moment.... and when she heard nothing else she turned back to Maggie. "I swear I'm losing the pl---" As she stood there, her eyes started to fail her, closing slightly of their own accord, as though she'd been fighting sleep for hours, and her body became incapable of speech. Before she could even fathom what was happening, her body hit the floor.

A grin formed on her face from ear to ear as she teased her best friend. What happened when you got these two together in a room? Simple. It’s what every teenage girl does. Have fun and just enjoy each other’s company. With her blue eyes she scanned the place, doing a sweep for anything out of place as she kept moving towards the living room. Just as she was about to turn back around to ask which one she heard the creak upstairs. Quickly her head whipped to stair upward at the ceiling, a frown etched on her forehead as she pushed her way back towards Eddie. ”Who would be….” she started, her words slurred together as she tried to find an exit for them. ”Eddie g—“ was all she could muster before she herself started losing the ability to keep her eyes open. Her body felt heavy, like she would fall through the earth. As her body started sinking to the ground she attempted to grab for a phone, it falling to the ground with a loud clatter as her body seemed to follow.

Eddie wasn't sure what it was, the small amount of an adaptive power that seemed out of her with regards from her gracious brother or just a strong will fighting against what ever drugs were hitting her system, but it seemed like her body didn't want to stay down. Maybe it wasn't any of those things, maybe it was that the first thing she heard was the sound of her best friends cries. Her body felt heavy, like it was weighed down with bricks, and her eyelids were no exception. It was like she couldn't open them, and secretly, the more Maggie screamed, the more she didn't want to. It was her screams that alerted Eddie to her proximity, her chest moving hard, but the more her best friend begged for her safety and for her sons, the harder Eddie tried to fight it. Her hand managed to move across the floor until it found Maggie's, clamping into it.
She didn't know what this was, what was going on or what had happened to her but she knew that her whole body seemed redundant. Besides her hand holding her best friends, the only thing working was her hearing, and god was that working. She couldn't even form enough thought to try and get through to Mason. Nothing seemed to work. But Maggie's begging was quickly followed by screaming.... Blood curdling screams! Eddie was sure, should she be capable of it, it would made her ill.But then suddenly there was nothing, a silence the lured her into a false sense of security until they were broken, but the tiny cries that could come only from a new born infant. Her heart stopped for a moment, it calling out to her newly born godson. All she could think about was that little man and she could only imagine what else was going on... Until she heard those five words that could destroy an expectant mother. "Now for the other one..."
She gulped hard, it was the first thing she'd been able to do properly since she'd gain some kind of conciousness. -MASON?? MASON HELP!! HELP ME!!!! MASON??? MAAASSOOON!!!!- Her face began to contort with the strength she was trying to exude. But the second, the mere second a fingertip laid itself upon her all Eddie could hear was the bangs, knowing all too well that her power was causing it but having no idea what it was blowing up. She found herself just hoping her best friend and her baby were safe, but despite that, her love for her unborn baby and the memory of her husbands face as he told her how scared he was of losing her and their child that were driving her, and the kabooms kept coming until someone announced they were getting out of there and then with a scuffle and a clamber, the front door flew open and then there was nothing.... Silence... Not even the sound of Parker crying to keep her calm. She just kept trying to move her limbs. "MASON ACKERS!!!!!! HELP ME!!!"

Everything seemed to be in a foggy haze, the more she tried to open her eyes and focus on everything the world seemed to spin. Maggie had to swallow and shut her eyes once to keep from throwing up, the motion sick feeling turned her stomach into knots. Cautiously she opened her eyes again and that’s when she saw them. The intruders that threatened all of them stood right there in front of both of them like they were there for a reason. As her eyes focused on the knife in their hands she knew exactly what they wanted. Tears welled up in her eyes as she tried to move, the drug or whatever they used on them keeping her from moving more then an inch. This was bad, already she knew it was. ”Please…don’t do this…don’t hurt him” she begged, her words still slurred a bit as she tried to scoot away from them.
Maggie felt a hand on hers, the tiny female hand feeling all too familiar as she clung to it as tight as she could. The tears finally spilled over as she felt the cold of the knife, her eyes squeezed shut as she pleaded one final time for the intruders to spare them and their children. That plea fell on deaf ears as she felt the sharp, stabbing pain of a knife against her stomach. ”No…please…NO!” were the last words she uttered before they were enveloped into a whole other sound. Never in her entire life had she ever felt this type of pain as she screamed out. Her blood curdling scream echoing throughout the whole house as she felt like her entire body was being ripped in two. At that moment all she was thinking of was Cooper and their son and how there was no way she would survive this pain to see them. Her love for them burned through her chest but this cold knife was the one that seemed to decide her fate. She only hoped that Coop would find their son and save him from whatever these people might want.
The pain was too much for her, as she was torn apart she fell into an unconscious state. The people cutting her open having no care for whether she lived or died, they just wanted one thing. That thing was her son. Vaguely in the back of her mind she thought she heard his cries but she was too far gone. It was almost like she was listening to something underwater as her hand went slack against Eddie’s. As much as she wanted to fight the darkness that enveloped her the pain was excruciating, atleast here it didn’t hurt. The sound of explosions reached her through the darkness, pulling her towards the surface just a bit as she realized she wanted her Parker. Her maternal instincts told her that he wasn’t part of her any more, he was savagely ripped from her. Her body ached in wanting him back but it refused to move, refused to cooperate. The pain washed over her once more and she sunk back into the darkness. What she wouldn’t give for this to just be a nightmare, a horrible nightmare.

Mason was enjoying some free time, him time… time to play on his xbox and yell at noobs whilst they camped out in the towers he blew up with their rpg’s. He’d even managed to get hold of Dylan, the ever popular and ever busy party planner who had been his best friend for as long as mason had had friends. But even he could soon grow bored of that – Cod no longer held as much interest as it once did, now that he had levelled up everything within even the online version of the game. Oh well. Only three months till battlefield 6. Still, he was pretty happy when Eddie mind bombed him with images of French fries. That had the eighteen year old in his Delorian before you could say ‘Back to the future’, speeding down the back roads towards his twins home… and the olden crispy goodness that lurked within the towering walls of the large place. Sometime he wondered how his twin coped in such a place, he had thought their old home had been large, but given the fact she had a tendency to leave her keys in the fridge these days, he wondered how exactly she managed to find her way around. Mason was already speeding when he got hit by a bombardment of mental cries that nearly span him off the road. They came with pain, and screaming, and enough fogginess to cloud even his brain. It took a second for the man to make sense of it all, and as soon as it had his face set into a look of determination that was, to put it simply, terrifying. Someone was trying to hurt his sister again… and no perpetrator would ever live through that experience again. Pressing his foot further down on the pedal, Mason was glad for the modifications he had placed on the cars engine, modifications that now allowed him to break 150 easily, and skid into his sisters drive almost ten minutes later… half an hour earlier than he should have arrived. EDDIE! I’M HERE! Mason called to her, scrambling from the car and racing towards the house.

Eddison had always been a lot stronger than she was given credit for, she was trying so hard to break free of the chains holding her to the ground, but she needed that push. It was the familiar voice pulling through the house that did it. The sound that kept her safe and warm for the entirety of her eighteen years. A cough escaped her as the weight left her lungs, sending waves through her whole body, freeing her slowly as she clenched her eyes closed at the sheer pressure of air leaving her chest. "Mason?" Her voice was as weak as her body felt. "MASON?" Her cries strained thanks to the hell her body was under. As she seemed to be able to fill her lungs with oxygen the way they were designed to be filled, she slowly opened her eyes, ignoring the blinding light, fighting past it to turn her head and look at her best friend, eyes travelling down and only stopping as they focused on the crimson liquid pouring out of her body.
"Mags?? Maggie?? No! No!!!!" Her body struggled against her but she managed to roll onto her front and crawl towards her, hands taking Maggie's arms in hers and shaking her gently. "Maggie come on?! Maggie???" She took notice of the, quite literal, bomb site that was her living room, nor did she care about the blood soaking into her own clothes, she cared only about her best friend, and the previously unborn child that had been taken from them. Who would do something like this?? Why??? So much stronger than Eddie had been given credit for at any point of her life, the little blonde ignored the excruciating pain in her back and the wave of pain that spread through her entire body, gritting her teeth and warding it away with a groan, continuing to try and wake her best friend as she waited for her twin. She was helpless, she couldn't do anything and she hated that more than anything right now.
