BUILD » Sebastian James is tall, broad shouldered and naturally toned; in his eyes, the best way to be. He does little to accentuate his natural muscle, the lean kind that leaves the body without unnecessary bulk. Possessed of remarkably chiselled features, he carries his mothers high cheek bones and his fathers jawline, fitting his build perfectly, making him a very memorable face.

PERSONAL STYLE » A hunter through and through, Sebastian tends to dress practically rather than stylishly. He prefers loose fitting jeans and cargo pants to suit trousers and sweat pants, and tends to t-shirts and tank tops over button downs or polo necks. Essentially, anything that is durable, cheap and replaceable can be found in his wardrobe. No matter what he wears though, he near always dons a jacket of some sort, generally a dark leather overcoat, perfect for concealing weaponry and giving his body that little bit more protection. When hunting, he carries numerous holsters and pouches on his person, extra storage for any equipment he feels he needs to carry with him.

- Sebastian has been trained extensively in the use of guns, knives and explosives, and as such is deadly with most forms of weaponry.
- A fantastic martial artist, Sebastian is trained extensively in military forms of CQC, specializing in the practical application MAC's Judo, Muay Thai and Eskrima.
- Known for his true grit, Sebastian seems to be able to suffer immense amounts of pain yet keep getting back up. Very little keeps him down, especially when he finds himself motivated by emotions and ideals.

- Sebastian would do quite literally anything for his sister, Simone, and if she is in danger he would do near anything to rescue her; even if it was to his own detriment.
- Seb has a quick temper, and loses his shit really quickly if he's challenged. He's not without his demons, and often doesn't know when to stop once he's begun a fight.
- Ultimately reckless, Sebastian often enters dangerous situations without any plan or any backup, even if in doing so he endangers himself and others.
- A man with a hidden darkness, he doesn't forgive people easily, and he's known to hold grudges no matter what others do to earn forgiveness.
- He sees things in shades of black and white, there is no grey. Supernatural beings are evil. Full. Stop. Period. Exclamation mark.
- After having a little to drink, he often forgets his boundaries, and can become an outrageous flirt, or dangerously violent.

- Sebastian has been in love before, although only twice. His first love was taken by vampires, and his second became like a best friend. While he'll never admit it, he wishes he could make someone a proud life, although he believes it impossible, especially with his chosen lifestyle.

PERSONALITY »
If there was a single word that could sum up Sebastian perfectly, it would be 'cocky'. Self-assured and arrogant, his outward show of self-confidence is impossible to miss, and it can make him remarkably hard to warm to. He seems to believe he can do everything and anything, and thinks that success is the only thing he experiences. While there can be charm in someone of that nature, others can equally find him annoying, and his teasing and flirtatious persona doesn't always make him friends.
He's also possessed of a quick temper, and his joking can quickly turn sour should someone take what he says the wrong way. To Sebastian, the world is only seen in two colors, black and grey, and he's a firm believer in absolute morality; something is either right or wrong, and it doesn't matter what the situation is. Stubborn, he will never back down from a fight, no matter the opponent. He has taken on people twice his size without a care, and won't give in until he's beaten them down. It makes him remarkably dangerous, to himself and others, and people who know him well know to be careful about him, lest they light his short fuse.
Once you've made an enemy of him, you may well remain his enemy forever. Sebastian is known to hold grudges, and he very rarely forgives or forgets. He goes out of his way to make people's lives hell if he dislikes them, and there is very little they can do to get on his 'good side.' So a word to the wise; don't piss him off. It may be the worst decision you ever make.
Under this macho surface though, there is a deeply confused young man, who is desperately trying to figure out who he truly is. Often depressed, he drinks in an attempt to forget the things he's done through-out his life, but hurting others and murder are things he knows will stay with him forever. He doesn't believe he deserves a good life, one full of happiness, and often distances himself from potential love interests before he can get close to them, and they to him. It's a defense mechanism as much as it it a preventative measure, as should he truly get close to someone, he'd have to let them know of the things he's done and risk rejection at their hands.
He also has an oddly caring side, and while it is only extended to few people, those that see it see an almost completely different side to him. Sebastian would literally do anything for those he considers family, namely his little sister and Chey Winchester, and while he sometimes teases them, he always has their best interests at heart. Should anyone hurt either girl, they risk a painful and torturous death at the hands of a weapon expert.
HISTORY »
The only son of Lexi and Tristan Blair, Sebastian grew up as a part of a hideously wealthy family, and had a remarkably abnormal childhood. His father was a known 'hunter', and spent much of his time away from his son, daughter and wife, travelling the United States in search of his supernatural prey. As such, Sebastian was far closer to his mother, and became very protective of his little sister Simone, who was born a good 5 years after him, as he felt, even at a young age, that they lacked a male role model. Their mother, the owner of a nightclub (a place of safe haven for the children while their father was away) taught them how to fend for themselves, taught them strange chants in Latin, and on the rare occasion the old man was around, he taught them how to use an arsenal of weaponry, from pistols to knives to grenades.
Some may well have questioned their parents motives, finding tutoring children in the arts of war to be a little 'strange', but to the family, it was completely and utterly normal, just a way of life, and one that Sebastian grew to love. He had everything he could want, parents who loved him (even if one was often away), constant thrill (as when is a hunter ever safe?), playmates in the form of 'The Jordans' (fellow hunter children), and all the money he could ask for. His life, while perhaps dangerous for a youngster, was perfect; and it certainly acted as a prelude to what he would become.
Both he and his sister were to attend the 'Hunter's Academy' when of age, as did their friends the Jordan's. His years at the school were thought to be some of the greatest of his life. He had constant companionship in his sister, the Jordans, and new friends; Coulters and Winchesters. The academy honed his already impressive skills, and made him into the cocky, fun loving man, who had yet to be touched by life's hardships.
The James parents were not overly thrilled that their children were gone for such long periods of time, but they accepted that it was for their children's own gain. Indeed, Max wished for his children to follow in his footsteps, and knew the academy would prepare them for the life of the hunter. With their benefit in mind, both children and adult alike were happy to see each other most holidays, although occasionally Sebastian and Simone would pay visits to their cousins; the Damaras.
As they grew, Sebastian and Simi developed their own groups of friends, but even acting in their different social circles, Seb always kept an eye on his sister. He developed a nasty habit of spying on and researching his sister's boyfriends, and threatened them on a number of occasions. Should they hurt her, he had a tendency to beat the crap out of them, and he often got chastised for his actions by his younger sibling. He had made a promise to his father to protect his sister, and he came to take it a little too seriously, and no doubt scared off a number of her potential lovers.
The two became very close when Sebastian was 18 and Simi 12, as the family was faced with tragedy; the death of their father. Max James disappeared on a hunting trip, and was pronounced dead soon after. Their mother took the news terribly, and while the death brought the entire family unit closer together, Sebastian and Simi often confided in each other, creating a tight bond between the two of them.
However, the pair would end up seeing less and less of each other as their lives progressed, and Simi's going to college to 'start afresh', a decision none of the males in her life particularly agreed with, made things remarkably difficult for Sebastian. He could no longer keep a constant eye on her, and he spent months away from her at a time, hunting just as his father had before him. He would of course check in on her from time to time, but it became far harder to protect her as he had.
His constant absence is partly why he blames himself for the difficulty Simi was to experience in the last few years of her life.
His sister, who was thinking of marrying a boyfriend of two years, revealed some of her past-life secrets to him, and rather than accept her, her lover beat her, left her, and then would return with friends to add further humiliation to insult. After the event, broken and defeated, without Sebastian being around for support, Simi went to live with her cousins. Despite her brother dropping in from time to time, she never breathed a word of it to Sebastian, and kept it a secret between those she lived with. Her brother would only learn about it some time afterwards, when she was kidnapped by said man, who had been possessed by a demon.
On discovering what had happened, Sebastian flew into a wild rage, thinking it to be his fault. He promised himself he would do anything to get her back, and while he was already a particular 'on edge' human, he became more so, lashing out at anything and anyone in his way. During the period she was missing, he relied heavily on one Chey Winchester, who he began to develop feelings for. While she may have felt the same, he was too focused on his sister to act on them, and Chey to worried about her own child and former lover to chase him. As such, their love passed on to become friendship...or so they thought.
Yet despite Sebastian's efforts, it was Ryder Winchester, the to-be-boyfriend of Simi, that came to her rescue. Saving her, it was he that protected her, rather than Sebastian, and he has not, to this date, forgiven the middle Winchester. Following her rescue, those closest to Simi devised a plan through which to capture the demon and vanquish it, one that was put into motion, and successfully carried out, though not with hardships suffered all around.
It was around this time in his life that Sebastian discovered his father was still alive, although was kept so through supernatural means. Hating the man his father had become, as he was no better than the scum he killed, Sebastian fled, leaving all he knew behind without a word, wanting to be separated from everyone he had been close to. He had failed his sister, and Ryder had taken his place. He was no longer needed by his mother, as she had adopted a number of new children, and no doubt they would fill the hole that his absence left. His father was a monster. He had nothing to remain for. Losing himself in his job as a hunter, Sebastian became a ruthless killer, destroying anything of supernatural heritage. He turned to drink and violence in order to fight his demons, but has achieved nothing but to make them worse.
After 4 months apart from his family, he is finally returning, unaware of many of the going's on they have faced. What awaits him is perhaps more than he can comprehend.
