Personality

--- >> Eryk is old fashioned. This perhaps is the best way to describe the young looking man who was born and raised in the 1800’s, though just how old fashioned he is becomes more apparent only when he becomes annoyed and irate, reverting to talking in a dialect that can only be described as ‘old’, complete with thee, thy and thou. Still, a long life has taught this Vampire patience if nothing else, and truly it takes a long time to make him truly irate.

Charming at his very heart, Eryk likes to think about what he says before he says it, and often comes across as rude or aloft, when truly he simply deigns your questions too insignificant to deserve answer. Well, so maybe he is a little rude, but this man moves around a lot, and has heard most of it all before. Truly, it would take a lot to surprise him. But this does not mean that this vampire is naturally spiteful – far from it. He can keep up an easy banter with someone he decides is interesting enough to earn his attention. Generally however, he tends to keep himself to himself – though blending in is not something he ever aspires too. He knows his place in society, and quite enjoys it in actuality.

History

--- >> Eryk Shane Allewell was born In Scotland , though his family was not originally Scottish, and he remained there for only a few years before moving back to his large family home In England. Coming from a family of aristocrats and politicians, Eryk was well bred and the son every father wanted. The youngest of seven brothers, but the older than his four sister, where his brothers where priests, aristocrats, Eryk had the role of looking after his sisters somewhat, a role he easily feel into. He went to the parties, he up kept the family name, he made sure his sisters did not wander when he was seventeen he was sent on the world tour by his parents and grew fond of Egypt, would return there in the years to come, returning with finds form his expeditions for his very own cabinet of curiosity.

After four years of travelling, Eryk met and fell in love with the beautiful Miss Eloise Baxter, and they married. She too was the youngest of five girls, and the two had a somewhat luxury to their lifestyle that allowed them to travel and see the wonderful world around them. They were then blessed with a baby boy, and Eryk was overjoyed with his perfect family.

Then everything changed.

Travelling back from London after having doing business with his father one night(Eryk having gone into the family business upon meeting Eloise, through need of providing a suitable, comfortable life for her, one that she was used too) his carriage was attacked and Eryk was murdered. Or at least, this was what was published in the papers, what was told to his poor grieving wife and their three year old son.

The reality of the matter was that Eryk died. But he was reborn as well, a vampire, a slave to his master, all part of a larger plan. The next fifty years for Eryk was a mess of blood and distant memories, a smear in the vampires 236 years. Eventually Eryk’s alpha was murdered, and the vampire found himself in the big world with nothing left to do, but return to what he knew. E found his son, now an old man with a family of his own. Eloise was long dead, and the vampire still leaves flowers on her grave every year on their anniversary. With nothing left for him however in England, Eryk returned to travelling, passing himself off as a relation his son, taking back his position in his family’s firm and travelling with the business and making himself a great deal of money in the process.

He eventually went to India when that was the fashionable place to be – but it is true that this vampire has travelled the world, and found himself, as of the late 1900’s in America, working still for his family’s firm, but rather more free lance these days. His family deals with inport and export, and now Eryk works in advertisement – he always did have an eye for the beauty of a landscape, and a deft hand with a pen, though truly he sees it more as a hobby now.

A year or so ago, Eryk got on the wrong side of some hunters, and was very nearly killed. His only reason for currently remaining in America rather than returning to the likes of India, or Egypt, perhaps even visiting is Italy, is the fact he needs to repay his life debt – a debt he is currently working on absolving.
