Distinguishing Marks

--- >> Maybe. Soon.
Best Feature
--- >> His chiselled jaw.
Worst Feature
--- >> His severe lack of emotional range.
Personal Style
--- >> Riley doesn't really have a style, so much as an attitude towards what's clean. He doesn't care about colour co-ordination or fashion - he doesn't come from a well of family so he really does not care about fashion or nay of the such. he pretty much just pulls on clothes in the morning, works on his car all day, and then chucks those clothes in the washing machine. He keeps his hair short and out of the way, and occasionally he wears sweatbands to cover up his scars - but the time he cared about them has long past.

Strengths
--- >> He's pretty strong, thanks to all the time he spends lugging around bags of cement and soil. His stamina therefore ain't half bad either.
--- >> He doesn't show emotion easy - which also means he's not angered easily. You sorta see what he wants you to see.
--- >> He's pretty nifty with an engine, and gadgets. The Guys ADHD meant he could not sit still for long periods of time - so he was always investigating something.
--- >> Naturally inquisitive, he likes to know the ins and outs of everything. And how many stripes next doors cat has.
--- >> He has a pretty immense pain threshold, a lot bigger than most people, possibly stemming from the fact he heals about twice as fast as everyone else. Broken leg you say? six weeks you say? Try two.
--- >> He can eat 15 crackers in 30 seconds. Dry crackers. No butter. Beat that.
Weaknesses
--- >> Again, he does not show emotion easily, and a lot of the time his family has no idea what;s going on with him. That fact he keeps it inside, can mean that sometimes it just kinda bursts out... and this guy can rattle the doors when he gets angry - if you know what i mean.
--- >> Mexican food. like seriously.. he will pull over.
--- >> Old movies. If there's a marathon on TV, you will not move him, nor will you get control of the remote. Same for when football is on.
--- >> His sisters - they may be his adoptive family, but they are the only thing he has, and he will die for them. Call it the big brother syndrome.
--- >> An old Injury, Riley has a dodgy shoulder, that gives him some Giff from time to time.
--- >> Dyslexia - he finds it hard to read things quickly, as often the words refuse to stay on the page, and start doing a jig around his head...
Dreams
--- >> He's a small town kid who didn't graduate high school - his dreams extend to owning his own landscaping business.
Fears
--- >> To become nothing, and mean nothing to anyone. That, and to lose his family.
Pet Peeve
--- >> The slack mouthed Jocks that keep trying to date his sisters.
Worst Habit
--- >> Riley loves to crack his limbs, and often in tense or quiet situations, you'll hear the faint pop of his knuckles.
Biggest Secret
--- >> He open mouth kissed a horse once. -eyebrow wiggle- naaw. He's pretty open this boy when it comes to secrets - his biggest secret is probably all the time he spent reading about black magic when he was a teenager. And the small fact some of it worked.

The Big Ones*
[/font]Personality
--- >> Once, Riley was self destructive – he fought, he partied, he failed everything – he fought back against the world that had taken him hostage and only ended up hurting himself and his family. These days however, the insecure little kid and the angry teenager have calmed down and grown up – leaving you with the guarded, but a little more sociable Riley Everett Dixon.
Yes, these days the boy is a little hard to read. He’s friendly enough outwardly, answering questions when asked – but unless he knows you well he’s not likely to strike up random conversation, not unless you are talking about or doing something that really interests him. He has few close friends, and not many acquaintances – it doesn’t take him long to form a relationship, but if you want to get to know him... well that can take a little while. Often times, he’s the happy-go-lucky guy everyone needs him to be, the guy people moan too, who his sisters cry too – but sometimes he finds it hard to actually do anything than sympathise. Empathy is hard, unless he’s been through it himself.
Otherwise, he’s pretty cool. He doesn’t like to be in large groups of people, and friends of friends are an awkward moment. He’s always known the girls he dates beforehand, being a really quite terrible flirt – but he’s a bit of a commitment phobe. He’s scared of the three words, and breaks things off before they even get close to that. He likes facts and figures – things he can sink his teeth into, but avoids books and anything that involves sitting still like the plague. He’s never happier than when he’s working with his hands, and even when forced into stillness, his fingers or hands will always be doing something.
History
--- >> Riley Everett Dixon did not exactly sail smoothly into life; so much as he was pushed down the rapids with nothing but armbands. Needless to say, the first three years of this little boys life were not what you would call, easy – but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Riley was born prematurely, after a kick to the stomach sent Lexi James into Labour at only 32 weeks. She was rushed to hospital, with no one but a midwife to hold her hand as she pushed her baby into the harsh, scary world. What she couldn’t know however, as they carried him away with panicked looks on their faces, was that she would not soon again see the little boy – for the bundle they laid in her arms hours later was not him, but another baby, a baby tragically still born to the woman now in the morgue.
The James family mourned their loss and buried the baby – they continued with their lives believing that indeed, their son was truly dead. After all, how could they know that not only was their son not dead, but was living with demons?
Oh, how they had seen a unique way into a hunters life with this baby boy – in a time so soon after Lucifer had been sent down, how they needed somewhere to hide and thrive, and such demon believed this baby to be the perfect decoy – a happy family, quiet because of tragedy. Then, they could twist him and his soul, possess his body and seak back into the hunters lives. IT was simple really, a cunning plan, if it had worked.
For two years these demons spent time like this, hiding away from hunters in a way that helped them blend in with society – who could ever expect a mother and her baby boy? But someone did, a hunter by the name of Jared saw straight through the mothers guise. In a fight, the mother was killed, leaving Jared with a two year old baby boy – a baby boy he was not prepared to look after. He took him to a foster home, left crying outside in the rain with but a single thing – a charm around his neck to keep the demons away.
It did not take long for the bouncing baby to get adopted by the Dixons, to be the first son in a family to soon to be joined by three girls. For Riley Everett Dixon, life became normal.
It was never hidden from the young man that he was adopted, but it did not stop him feeling any less loved by his family, any less attached to his younger sisters. He fell into the role of big brother easily – even if he never seemed to do well at school. Diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADHD when he was ten, by the time Riley hit his teens he was no longer the bouncing boy the Dixons had adopted but a troubled young man plagued with nightmares, failing high school, and who hung around with the wrong sort of crowd. He found it hard to attach himself emotionally to anything other than his family, and reverted to a way of feeling something new most would disapprove off. He found release in the flow of life blood from his wrists, from the stream of crimson and the pain of the wound. It helped to stop the boys confused moods, the struggle he had with emotion and guilt, with the stress he felt of everything. He did it not for attention, but for the few minutes he could focus on nothing but the pain.
He became uncontrollable, he got into fights, he drunk, he took drugs and he stole – he cared deeply for his family still, but he was irritable and angry, angry at the world and at his family who had given him up – angry for the changes he was having, for the inexplicable things in his life that happened without reason or sense – how could he know after all that he came from a family of half angels, when he had no one to tell him. He flunked out of school and spent more and more time out of the house, often for days, sometimes a week, repeating the self destructive process of drinking, taking drugs and cutting.
The day he came home however and found his youngest sister Astrid bleeding on the bathroom floor was the day Riley vowed never to let his family get hurt again, be it his fault or someone else’s. He cleaned up his act and got a job working in a repair shop, and another landscaping. By the time he was 24 Riley was doing all kinds of odd jobs – becoming the man and the role model he wanted to be for his younger sisters. He was protective, overly so of them, and especially of Astrid – something they all find annoying when boyfriends come a knocking.
Now however, Riley is thinking once more about his family, his true family, and wondering just where they came from, who they are – and if they could explain the charm he wears around his neck, and the strange things that seem to happen whenever he gets angry, or stressed.
