These rules are to be adhered to by every member. Should you have a problem with anything, feel free to PM me.
Basic Rules
❧ Always respect the administrators and their decisions. No one but an admin has the right to make a decision or assume that something is okay. Our PM boxes are always open on the rare times that one of us is not available to talk in the cbox.
❧ Harassment is not okay. Reminders and harassment are two very different things, but more so if you're going to a person on IM. Please try and keep site stuff to the site unless a particular member has okayed you messaging them on such a matter.
❧ Please register with your character's full name or as much as will fit. There is an 18 character limit on user names so should a full name not fit, try a first and middle or cutting a name down. This is to try and avoid gaining another persons posts in the form of an advertisment or another members deleted account.
❧ Discrimination in any form will not be tolerated.
❧ Please respect this form and it's members.
❧ You MUST be over thirteen years of age in order to sign up to this forum. If we find out you are under thirteen, you will be removed as part of the proboards code of conduct.
❧ Stealing from this site will result in serious consequences.
❧ Swearing and vulgarities serve little purpose in day to day life, so tt isn't necessary from day to day on a forum.
❧ Advertise only on the advertisement boards.
❧ Please try and avoid slang or the substitution of numbers as letters (Bcz itz annyin! N 2 cmplec8ed!)
❧ Do not ask people for personal information such as telephone numbers and addresses in any boards or in the cbox, if you feel you have the right to request this information, please ask via PM but be warned that harassment for such is unacceptable – no means no.
Posting
❧ These are general rules for any roleplay, but just to confirm, we do not accept godmodding in anyway, so you cannot control another persons character in anyway unless you've had complete consent, also there is no such thing as a perfect character, your characters weaknesses should always fairly outweigh the strengths and over powerful characters are not only slightly unfair, they're also hard to play with.
❧ Please try to be active, we understand being busy, we're all busy so we accept that it can sometimes take a while to get a post up or that there's times when posting just isn't an option, but we also know that it doesn't take more than a few minutes to sign in and let us know, either in an away message on the board or in the cbox.
❧ Please tag posts approriately with titles such as “open” and “closed” and should you wish to join a thread tagged as “Open” with over a page of posts, please PM the post starter before hand to see if this is okay. Any complaints will result in a post being removed.
❧ Posting in character is only acceptable in any part of the forum or the cbox once you've been pre -approved. [More information is available when you get the application form]
❧ Your face claim must be a celebrity and not an anime or cartoon character, we apologise for any inconvenience this causes anybody.
❧ We ask that everyone has a signature and an avatar in their account, this helps break up posts and distinguishes different characters. We have a request thread and a lot of capable artists on the board if you're unable to make your own. Any images that stretch the board will be removed. [Maximum site size is width=550px]
CBOX
❧ The Cbox is to be used for general chatter, plotting ect. People use it as a way to have fun and talk with friends. As a result, we ask that you do not cause any trouble. Fights or disagreements are to be taken to PMs or another form of communication.
❧ As our Cbox Key states, we have a simple way of distinguishing conversation in the box, so normal type is in character play, anything in brackets ((like this)) or [[this]] is out of character, and occasionally, we like to say things out of the conversation from a characters point of view and that will look like ((//this)).
