Dark brown eyes concentrated on Alec’s handsome face as he pondered about her question on whether he was enjoying his time with her or not. In the flurry of liking someone for once, her perceptiveness had died a little and she didn’t know if he was messing with her or actually thinking up an answer. Grace subconsciously bit her lip in minor worry; was she really too boring? The fiery redheaded had never found any similar problems with anyone else before and this was the main reason she preferred Alec already in comparison to many other boys. She nearly let out a breath of relief as the boy’s cheeky grin shined onto his face in which he replied with a positive answer. “I am having an amazing time.” She let out a very relieve smile at his happy words, especially with his flattering next ones. It took her a moment to realize it was the same feeling for her. It had been too long since Grace had been out and about with someone other than her pack, rather actually having a bit of fun. She was excited to be spending her time with Alec and at the same time being flattered to death by his ego boosting comments. They kind of both had the same sort of effect on each other and she especially liked this fact far more than anything else.
The last time she had been out with a boy her age had been about in high school as it seemed. The burger joint didn’t exactly get Alec-type of customers all the time and the ones that did come in usually came with dates. Grace didn’t really know why they bothered to bring their girlfriends here, the ones that asked for no calorie, no fat, no nothing things on the menu. Those type of things simply didn’t exist and instead she offered them water, earning dirty looks from her customers. It was really the main reason Grace stayed away from couples that came to the diner that looked to be about in highschool. She especially liked serving the families however, watching the children and having them talk and socialize with her was one of her favorite things about being a waiter. Families almost always were quite talkative with her and she enjoyed speaking to them and answering their many questions about what side orders there were. Grace had laughed many times about the never ending mother pleas as to switch their child’s French Fries order to broccoli or something else healthy. Whenever that happened, she made friends with the children due to the fact she would sneak them a dessert afterwards.
Working at the diner most definitely did have its benefits, though she wasn’t really about to trade a date in for another hour of work. Even Grace was not that crazy nor hardworking. She wasn’t a lazy person in a sense, simply a person that did what they wanted and chose to do something well or not. If she was feeling particularly happy that day, she might’ve made more of an attempt to do something right, though on her bad days, Grace was not someone you really wanted to mess with. Aside from the whole wolf ordeal, the redhead had quite the fiery attitude and bashed against people that tried to pick on her no matter who they were, customer or not. Despite this, due to her temper that had gotten her into quite some trouble before, Grace had long since realized not to let other’s words get into her head or else she would be quivering from head to toe ready to turn into a wolf.
“I think that statement is very true!” Grace smiled softly, turning into a smirk as she egoistically quipped, “I most definitely agree.” Though to his next question, the girl looked over to him and nodded adding “I think I have to ask the same.” She was quite certain she hadn’t bored him, though it felt like a requirement to hand him a compliment after he had been so sweet. She chuckled as he fumbled as to admitting his excitement for the night of fun they had planned ahead of them. “Don’t worry, I know what you mean.” she assured him softly before chuckling once more as he asked her take the direction they needed to go. The walk required a cut across a dark area, though she didn’t mind, nothing ever dangerous had ever tried to stop her. Human men, usually drunk sometimes crossed, though Grace could handle those quite easily. The young woman protected herself quite well with anything.
The smell of drying blood came before the creature did, causing Grace’s red hair to whip behind her and freeze. First, the human part of her growled at whoever was running the things into her life on why she couldn’t be happy for one damn day, then the instinct of her ancestors took over. The seventeen year old inhaled deeply as to what the hell was coming towards them, though it was coming at bursting speed. She didn’t know if she was overreacting or not, though her worry grew louder and she forced herself to give Alec a sorry look. “Alec, there’s something you don’t-” Before she could finish her sentence, the thing she was fearing stood snarling and out of control in front of them, it’s hungry eyes staring at both of their necks. Grace knew what she needed to do. Without a moment’s hesitation, she pushed her body protectively in front of Alec’s, morphing into a small (but still big) reddish pelted wolf. The now wolf growled at the vampire, and Grace leaped at it, grabbing a chunk of its torso before it threw her off into the wall. Still, she winced in her wolf form and got back up, terror in her eyes at the sight of the unprotected space between the leech and Alec. She couldn’t let him get hurt. 994, outfit, and the fun begins hehe

The night had been a good night thus far and these two continued to flatter each other left and right and was having a good time, but oh that was about to change since neither had known what was waiting for them outside… If they had, they may not have left the safety of the pizza joint they had enjoyed so much and Alec really thought they had hit it off… She had made him blush so many times tonight it was unbelievable and he seemed to do the same with her and he did like spending time with her and learning more about her.
She def was a unique person. There had been a few more moments of flattering and grinning before these two were out the door and on their way for some fun. “I am sure we are going to have a blast at this club.” Alec had said to her… “I have never been there so it will def be an experience.” he had also stated to the Grace. She had probably been there a number of times since she had said that she could get them in.
It was already pitch black outside and you could only see the way by the dimly streetlights so they had to be careful as to where they were going…. He had this eerie feeling, but shrugged it off… Grace seemed to know something was wrong before he did the way she kept looking around… He had at first thought she was just being cautious it was one thing learned at the academy was be aware of your surroundings. In addition, what was going on around you at all time everything around you could be come a weapon.
It wasn’t until she said that there was something he didn’t know about her that he realized something was off when his date transformed into a wolf right before him. He stood there blinking in shock for a moment trying to process in his head that she had became a wolf something they learned was a loup garoux in classes and can be killed with silver.. It made him wonder if she knew that he went to academy and was trying to get to him and the other hunters, but his mind couldn’t dwell on that since next thing he saw was her lunge herself at a bloodthirsty vampire….
“OH CRAP.” he muttered under his breathe…. This wasn’t good at all. He was going to be in so much trouble if he lived that is… dying might be a better option then facing the Cooper that was for sure… Wolf Grace seemed to take a bite out of the vampire, but that seemed to piss it off all the more and it had threw her into the wall, and that made him wince, and he looked around…. Thinking what could kill a vampire…. He didn’t have anything on him that could… he didn’t have a stake… Who would have thought that a vampire would attack him out here…?
It was brave how she had tried to protect him, but Alec didn’t want her getting hurt either, and perhaps he was being stupid and he had tried to take on the vampire fighting it not knowing that Grace had gotten back up herself.. He did learn how to defend himself pretty well at the academy, but now he needed something to kill the beast a stake, something to slice his head off something. Alec had gotten in a few good hits before the vampire had run him into the wall too. He could feel crimson liquid trickle down his cheek and it made the vampire snarl even more.
It had him pinned against the wall and he was trying his best to keep it from biting him while trying to see where Grace was….and tried to look around and find anything a fence, a tree branch, a chair, something that could be broken into a stake of some kind or something… he wish he had carried a lighter on him he was going to do so from now on after this ordeal… Alec had tried to keep the thing away from Grace… “Run away, Grace…. Run….” he has said loud enough for her to hear, and he had tried to push the vampire away so he could move and get further down the street he needed a plan and a good one an fast….
He had taken off a little ways, but the vampire would soon catch up with them since it now had his scent of blood and was hungry… It wasn’t before long that it was back and it tackled Alec to the ground and was trying to bite at him again.

Grace was happy enough at the moment, with her newly found interest by her side. The promise of fun an excitement was nearly irresistible and for about the twentieth time that night, the redhead praised the lord that the young man had managed to end up in her diner. She hadn’t gone out and done something fun in what seemed like forever, though Alec seemed liked just the type she could typically get drunk with and not be in dire trouble in the morning. As weird as it was, Grace found herself ridiculously trusting a human of all species, one that her pack wouldn’t exactly be happy with. She knew she would have hell to deal with at home if anything bad happened, though the girl had a pretty clean slate for the past few months. It seemed unlikely anything was going to come and ruin her fun now. She seemed so convinced enough to just thing ‘what the hell’, and go clubbing with this good-looking human. Taking in the innocent face was too difficult to imagine him as anything bad. Grace wouldn’t bear it if he were any sort of threat to her; it just seemed far too impossible. She was ready to take the night, human in hand.
“I am sure we are going to have a blast at this club.” Grace grinned at his optimism; she certainly liked people that weren’t down and dreary all the time. She made the move to tell him this before he stated how it would be an experience for him. A wide grin lit the redhead’s features up and she looked up at him much taller figure. “You’ll love it.” she said with a happy wink, and she was quite sure he would. They strolled a bit more down the black street in silence, a complete opposition to where they were headed that particular night. Grace found this somewhat secretly amusing and smiled a bit unconsciously. She readied herself to be brought into blasting music with a sigh at the night. The many clouds that also surrounded the eerie crescent moon however, had hid the stars; an annoying reminder about her time of change was to be coming soon. Just not that night. Boy, she was quite thankful for that. Not that she would’ve mauled him or any of the sorts. Unlike werewolves, Loup Garaouxs were able to control their actions while in form. It was something she gave a lot of thanks to on Thanksgiving Day.
A rusty smell hit the young woman’s nose like a slap in the face for danger. Grace froze, her instincts on edge, the little hairs on her neck rising protectively. She stood off the side of her suitor, a distinctive expression on her face before the terror came. A snarl ripped through the night, growling and sputtering like fire in front of them. Grace whispered the words, finally happy not to lie and tell him the truth but partly terrified he would never get to see her again. If they lived through it, she would try her best to explain. Thoughts and ideas left her mind as the bloodthirsty creature stood before her, leftover blood still on its face. Adrenaline rushed through the redhead and without a moment’s hesitation, Grace vaulted between Alec and the vampire. She snarled, morphing in a matter of seconds into a ferocious looking wolf. The reddish wolf answered the vampire’s snarls with its own before leaping and chomping the vampire’s body. A scream of agony pierced the night in response before easily grapping the nape of her neck and smashing her into the wall.
Grace whimpered as she lay there, unable to move for a few seconds and watched as the beast turned on Alec. A strangled “No!” left her lips, due to the fact she had no idea Alec was able to somewhat protect himself. Confusion lit her face as she realized he was fighting back, and no surprise was really on his face; as if he had seen a vampire or known about them before. It occurred to her that he must be a hunter. Horror lit her face in the realization she had been next to her perhaps future death for the past hours. She wondered if he had done it intentionally, made friends with her only planning to kill her later on. Grace shook her head determinedly; he might’ve been a hunter though she couldn’t see him ever doing that. With fierce courage, the wolf got up and attempted to find something that could help them kill it. “Run away, Grace…. Run….” The reddish wolf barked furiously, he was crazy if he thought she was going to abandon him like that. Ideas twisted through her head as she franticly thought of something. Her purse lay close to her and she galloped to it, searching for something.
The wolf returned to human state as she found what she was looking for, the pencil she carried in her purse would certainly do something. It was made of wood after all… Grace grabbed it with her now human hands and snuck up behind the creature trying to bite Alec. With no hesitation, the girl stabbed the creature with the pencil, it emitting a howl so loud before it turned on her, with less energy. She knew she had wounded it, but unfortunately not enough. The vampire grinned as it realized she was in human form and before she could react, it had grabbed her around the throat and held her up. Grace spluttered for air and tried her best to claw at the hands that held her up. She honestly doubted it wanted her blood due to the fact she tasted like dog, but killing her seemed to be good enough for the now enraged vampire. She kicked and spurred with it, though she couldn’t breathe. Grace’s raspy voice called out to Alec. “Alec find something wood or so-“ she gagged as the thing squeezed her neck tighter, a cruel smile lighting up the vampire’s face. 1008, outfit, woo i'm having a lot of fun with this xDD

Alec knew he’d have fun with Grace at the Club it would be a good time and he needed that. She said he’d love it and he grinned, looking at the girl walking beside him. “I really hope so. I usually don’t go to places of such nature, but it will be a good time I am sure." he was with her so of course it would be a good time for him they seemed to hit it off so well thus far and he was curious how the night would end…. However, his night soon reached a kink in his plans when a snarling bloodthirsty vampire decided to place a damper on his evening plans… It wasn’t good at all, the vampire was soaked in the blood of other people no telling how many had been killed…
It was really just his luck wasn’t it… go out and manage to get attacked and his date turning into something that he should hunt… thought was this really considered a date or just two friends out on the town either way it was just his luck to run into some vampire who had a case of the munchies. He mentally was cursing himself for not being more prepared having something on him that could stop this deadly creature…. But now with him fighting back this creature of the night the best of his abilities had to tell Grace exactly what he does for a living…. He couldn’t believe that she was one that they called loup garoux, he hasn’t ever ran into anyone like her before and perhaps there were signs he should have picked up on, but hadn’t he was too busy getting his flirt on to realize and he knew Cooper was going to have his ass on a platter when he hears of this ordeal.
He fought it off from biting him the best that he could after the vampire had knocked the Grace in wolf form away… he had told her to run away, but she apparently didn’t seem keen on listening .. He wanted her to be safe he could handle this or at least he hoped that he could. He was trained to fight and fight for his life is what he was going to do he was going to try to make his professors proud of the courage it takes to fight back and not buckle under the strength of the bloody and dangerous creature even if it does wind him in a world full of hurt… It wasn’t long before Grace had bounced back after that blow that sent her flying in wolf form. It was very noble how she had been trying to protect him…and he was trying to do the same by her by telling her to run away.
If she died, he’d hate to be hunted down by her pack. He was sure that his scent was all over her and that if she died he would be hunted… and not the one doing the hunting… He could hear his teachers in his head telling him he is a fool for letting something like this happen. It was why they were supposed to stay in and no wander on their own as if they are prisoners locked within the academies walls. He hated feeling trapped. It wasn’t a great feeling and as this vampire became closer and closer to his neck, he was feeling that feeling of entrapment and he didn’t like it. Grace had found something in her bag and tried to kill the vampire with a pencil, but missed the heart threw his back injuring it and pissing it off… It then had turned on her, grasping her by the throat she managed to get some words out before choking her… She was telling him to find wood or something…
‘why couldn’t I have carried a lighter.’ he thought to himself… “NO YOU DON’T WANT HER. YOU WANT ME!!! YOU BIG UGLY ANIMAL… COME AND GET ME…” he barked at the vampire… he was sure it wouldn’t like the blood of his companion of the night since she revealed she was a wolf and he himself was human… he had found a glass bottle smashing it on the wall and cutting himself with it, blood dripping down his arm, he could taste the crimson liquid in his mouth too from fighting it earlier… Alec threw the bottle he broke at the vampires head hitting it dead on and it turned to look at him snarling…, let go of Grace, and began to come after him…
Alec backed down the ally as fast as he could looking for something, and found a chair beside one of the dumpsters… hopefully Grace would be okay…. He threw the chair against the wall trying to break it some so that he could stake the vampire, but the vampire was fast before being able to grab the piece of wood he was tackled to the ground rolling around with the vampire punching it in the face trying to get it off him… trying to reach for the broken chair… he couldn’t see where Grace was since the view was being blocked by a dumpster..

If there were a chance for her to during the whole attack, Grace would have had a temper tantrum right then and there. It just was so damn unfair! Every time she had tried to have fun, possibly have a chance at a good date with someone, something stupid like this meathead leech had to show up. The initial shock of the first sight of the vampire scared most of the anger out of her at least, and she had been able to fight and think with somewhat of a clear mind. The redhead however could already hear her father’s sighs about her first attempt with the pouncing and chewing. He would call her too impulsive. Which she was indeed, though sometimes a girl really needed just some nice words. Maybe just a little praise of how she conducted an attack or took down something would certainly make her day. A girl could wish. Grace’s father simply was not that type of person. He was only filled with smart remarks to give to his older girl about how she could improve herself in becoming a better monster. Being what she was could not be helped and as much as she tried, Grace would always remain in the hunted down list.
At the moment however, one of the people that had been probably training his whole life learning how to kill her and people like her had been flirting and having fun with her till a stupid vampire decided to show up. Now that very dangerous threat was trying to save both their hides and Grace was left with only one option in her mind. Even if he was a hunter he wouldn’t have taken the fall for her and screamed run if he was going to kill her, so she supposed she would try and save his ass too. Of course saving yourself and someone else wasn’t exactly easy when it came to bloodthirsty vampires. Especially when they had a sadistic nature too. This one didn’t seem to have a heart, though Grace knew they did have an advantage over it. They had their brains in difference to the vampire’s complete rage and loss of control for blood. They could use that fact against it most definitely. Grace knew the vampire wouldn’t want her wolf blood, but she had no doubt it would kill her without hesitation if she was going to stand between it and its food. Well, that’s just too bad, cause I am. she thought determinedly.
After a few minutes of their intense fight, Grace would never imagined choking in a vampire’s grasp to be her death. All she hoped was that Alec would be smart and realize if he couldn’t find anything, he should just run. The redhead gagged as the grip constricted around her pale throat, the blood from the first fall dripping down her arm. “NO YOU DON’T WANT HER. YOU WANT ME!!! YOU BIG UGLY ANIMAL… COME AND GET ME…” Grace felt her fustration grow, was he crazy? She really hoped he had a plan, because if Alec died, she would be first of all quite sad and second of all hunted by all his superiors, then joining him in heaven. Grace figured he probably had it the same way around with her extremely protective pack, though she didn’t want to think about death right now. The sound of a smash and the smell of blood caught her attention before the vampire dropped her like a sack of potatoes on the ground. She coughed to the ground, wheezing and trying to get her breath back before quickly inspecting her bruised throat. Her head had been hit and blood trickled from somewhere. She could feel it against her face.
Grace looked up to see Alec smashing a wooden chair, but being attacked by the vampire before he could kill it. She forced her aching body to get up and move, in which she ran to straight out to the fight. She doubted the vampire would notice her in it’s bloodthirsty haze, but she still took caution as she grabbed one of the broken legs. It had splintered, giving it a perfect sharp tip and the redheaded looked at the scene in front of her. The girl ran to the vampire, held her breath and thrusted the handmade stake into its back. A blood curling scream shook the night and Grace fell, dazed about what just happened. Everything turned immediately still for her, and the remains of the dead vampire sat on the hunter she had just befriended. The redhead’s breath came out in short huffs, blood dripping of her body and a piece of glass in her arm from being tossed against the ally wall. She couldn’t feel however, it was just so numb. 800, outfit, now we have the real fun of poor alec and grace's confusion xD

Attacked... it was really his luck wasn't it. A fun night was too much to ask in his line of training wasn't it. It made him wonder how hunters could have normal lives.. It made him wonder if his parents ever tried to have one and things went splat in their laps. It was possible since well he and his siblings were left at the academy while his parents were out risking their lives daily... perhaps normal just wasn't in their cards. He couldn't let Grace get hurt even if she was s something they were trained to hunt to him it was as if she was just trying to live her life and it didn't dawn on him that perhaps she was leading him to her pack to be slaughtered, but that thought didn't cross his mind since he was having such a great time and he was trying to save her from this vampire taunting it to come get him and how it wanted him and not her. He was human so his blood was probably tastier to it then that of a loup garoux right?? It had to be why it was choking Grace and not killing her with its teeth trying to drain her of ever last ounce of blood.
He had ran and tried to find something to kill it, and the vampire had dropped Grace like a sack of potatoes when he had taunted and teased it... breaking the chair he hadn't had time to kill it. He had been mauled by the vampire. It really made him wonder how many it had killed tonight were other hunters tracking it.. oh hell he'd be in trouble with a capital T if someone from the academy found him... He was trying to grab at the stake, but couldn't reach it at all.. he wasn't close enough to get it.. “ CRAP.” he had mummer-ed under his breath, but it wasn't long before Grace got to her feet and came over to help him. She could have ran away, but she didn't and he didn't know why most would flee wouldn't they save themselves...and the pack...She had tried to save his ass a number of times tonight and he didn't know why? She could have just let him be vampire food, but she didn't. Grace had got to her feet and staked the vampire, and after trying to struggle with it... the vampire collapsed on top of him, and he had reached around it's back twisting the broken chaired stake shoving it threw the vampires back more and twisting and once it got the heart more the vampire turned to dust....
Alec gagged a bit as it turned to dust on top of him scrunching his nose, a bit... now things would be awkward he could just tell... he laid there his head was pounding as he had wrestled with some vampire it had to be rabid or something maybe.. it was odd that it didn't dust right away... was their something else going on that the teachers didn't know about? Alec's arm was bleeding pretty badly from the attack still and the blood taste could still be tasted within his mouth, but he was more so worried about Grace then himself at this moment... she could heal where he can't, but still he was more worried about her. “ Are you okay?” He had asked sounding as sincerely as he could to make it known that he wasn't going to hurt her. If he was he would have had ample time already and if he wanted her dead he could have let the vampire do so. He had sat up rubbing his hand over his face to get the dust off, before attempting to stand his legs felt numb.. he tried to use the wall to get up, and fell back to the ground thinking... okay this is going to take a few minutes...she had time to run if she wanted to run...“ So...” he had began not really knowing what to say... for the first time tonight he was at a loss for words and that just wasn't him..he had thought he was talking to much earlier and now he didn't know what to say...

Fury settled into the girl’s eyes as it attempted to maul poor Alec’s head off. Grace hadn’t felt this many emotions come to her in a long time and there was no doubt she would forget this night if she lived through it. The loup knew it was the same for each of them. The possibility of one dying on either side would most likely end in a small war between her pack and the hunters. Grace most certainly did not want that for them, no matter how much chaos she caused in it. She loved her pack and family despite all the arguments and issues she’d had in the past. If we live through this, I promise never to be mean to Evelyn just for the hell of it ever again. Yes, there were things Grace had done she wasn’t proud of, but naturally in life/death situation, all the memories came back to her. All the things she’d said and the fights she’d started. It wasn’t really fair however how much life just seemed to want to make her suffer. Seriously? Throwing a vampire into her great night was something unacceptable. Blood thirst dripped into her emotions. She was going to kill the vampire and Alec would not get hurt.
Slowly losing her coolness, Grace stormed to the chair in her sneaky way, grabbing the splintered leg of it. The red head felt a little bad for anyone if they owned the chair, though it was what had possibly and hopefully saved their lives. She wanted to end this night with both of them alive and she would make sure it happened till her body lay dead on the floor. Letting a growl rip out of her throat, Grace ran up to the vampire. No hesitation showed, other than a deep breath before she plunged the stake into the vampire’s back. She wasn’t exactly sure on how a vampire died, though she supposed it did the trick due to the next few moments. A blood curling scream lit the night in response to her attack and she fell back as the vampire fell over, nearly lifeless. Was it over? Apparently not as Alec twisted the stake more and it turned into dust on top of him. Grace’s breaths came fast as she struggled to understand what just happened. Her adrenaline lessened till she could think somewhat straight. Immediately, her brown orbs flickered over to Alec. He was a hunter. Someone trained to kill her and other like her.
This left Grace with one question, was he going to kill her now? Grace found herself foolishly wondering with the fact that he had not ran when the vampire had her. They had worked as a team, if that was even possible. “Are you okay?” At the sound of his voice, Grace crashed backwards as fast as she could and right into the wall before she fell backward again and landed on her butt. She shook with fear as he attempted to stand up. After he fell over nearly again, Grace’s mind functioned properly and she realized what he had asked. The words replayed in her mind. Was a hunter really asking her if she was okay? All her life she had been taught that hunters were the number one things to stay away from; but looking at Alec, she didn’t see evil. The girl’s eyes took in the easy escape path she could take. She could run and leave him to fend for himself when he could barely stand. Grace knew that didn’t sound right and she looked determinedly at Alec. “I’ll be okay.” Despite the shaky voice, a plan was forming in her mind. She would most definitely make sure he got home okay. The minor wounds on her were already starting to heal, except for the main ones on her head and arm.
They would heal in their own time anyway. Grace stood up, feeling numb, but as a wolf, she healed much faster. She would deal with the others later. The redhead was just thankful that the vampire didn’t have silver with it. She bit her lip as she watched Alec fall back to the ground. Hesitantly, Grace moved toward him. Careful and cautious, ready to spring back if he was scared or did something scary. The poor boy was at a loss for words and Grace realized she was too. It took her a few minutes to find her voice as she reached out. “Here hold still, let me see.” she said softly, only kindness in her eyes. Perhaps, she could find a way to heal him though she only had a few band aids in her purse. Still, she did have a bottle of water and perhaps she could take him somewhere to clean him up before sending him home, and the same for her. Only God knew how many questions and scolding she was going to get if she went home like this. If she tried, she could definitely support Alec against her shoulder, but she didn’t want to get too close in case he was freaked out. 845, outfit, ah, okay ^^ thanks for clearing that up.

Alec didn't seem to be the only one that struggled to get to his feet after the whole ordeal he could see Grace too stumbling to her feet after the vampire had indeed been dusted. He didn't like the taste of blood in his own mouth nor did he like the splitting aches and pains that were surging threw his body. He knew he would be in big trouble going back to the academy tonight, but hey at least the vampire is toast and that is something in the plus column right. He had asked her if she was okay and she seemed to crash back to the ground onto her butt after trying to get up. It made him wonder if she thought that she was next or something. It made him wonder if she was going to kill him too, but she would have done so already if she were right. He had half expected her to flee especially now with her knowing what he is and that he could take care of himself and hold his own and this experience made him think to always be prepared after this if he ever can escape the academy again after this he was surely going to be supervised more.... he had to be right? She had looked at him, and told him that she would be okay. He sighed, with relief a little. He was glad she would be okay.
He was worried her pack would now come after him, but as long as she is okay that was all that mattered. "I am glad." he spoken softly... he was glad she would be okay and make it threw this... He really didn’t know what he’d have done if he lost her and how he’d explain that to his professors and the blood would have been on his hands if she were killed, and his heart sank to his stomach a bit more thinking about the people that this vampire had indeed killed tonight. The heartbroken families when their children didn’t come home tonight. It was why they should be out here doing something at least they stopped it before he could hurt more people…Grace seemed to be at a loss of words like he had. He didn’t know what to say to her now knowing she is something he is supposed to hunt and he is something she is meant to fear and flee from. Not all of them are bad they can’t be. He knew gifted people at the school…She couldn’t be far off compared to them and as far as he knew, Grace hasn’t hurt anyone so he should give her the benefit of the doubt right?
His head was spinning and he was bleeding pretty good now for all he knew he’d need some stitches he was scared too look at the arm he had cut to see. He just kept focused on Grace. He wanted to apologize for all that has happened, but he didn’t know how to would she believe he was sorry or think it was just him trying to get her close to kill her or something.. He wished he knew what was swimming threw her head right now….but sadly he did not. She had gotten a little closer to him telling him to let her see and to hold still, and he blinked in an utter stupid moment giving her a huh kind of look not even thinking about his arm or the blood. Perhaps it was just confusion due to his head throbbing. He had been trying to get up again, but failed miserably thinking he just needs to sit her for a few and let the throbbing go away…
He let her see and stopped struggling to get up he knew he would be sore in the morning. He eyed her cautiously, but then spoke. “Don’t worry I am not going to hurt you or try to kill you.” he had said trying to ease her worry, and hoped she could tell he wasn’t lying. “I am sorry you got caught in the cross fire.” he had told her. He really didn’t know if it was after her or maybe him or both or was just out to kill everyone… “ At least we took care of it and it can’t hurt anyone else.” he said finding it easier to speak a little more now. “You could have run away once you knew I could possibly be after you how come you didn’t?” Alec asked he was now curious as to what her answer would be to such a question. He really did hope she wouldn’t send her pack after him now. He really had been having a wonderful time tonight before the attack had went down and he knew he probably wouldn’t be able to see her after tonight so he really did want to know the answer to the question.

The redhead was stuck in place for a few astounding moments. No breaths escaped her adrenaline packed lungs nor did they take in the oxygen that was necessary to help her body. Only Alec’s shaky voice had managed to get the girl to respond to life once more. She replied breathlessly that she would be alright, yet despite her soft words, Grace would not be mentally fixed to till much later. At least until she knew Alec felt comfortable with her. She honestly did care about his wellbeing despite their reputations that were supposed to keep them apart. The girl’s neck twisted to look at him in which she winced at the pain the movement brought. While she was a Loup, it didn’t mean she didn’t feel pain. However, it certainly did help with the bruises and cuts flawing her body. Blood still trickled out of her head and arm, and Grace wondered if the vampire had anything silver on it or perhaps it was bigger cut. She shrugged it off, they would heal eventually. She hadn’t died yet.
"I am glad." Grace focused her attention on Alec’s soft words, trying to use the gentleness in them to fight off the violence still imbedded in her mind. If something were to surprise attack her, Grace would’ve killed it in a millisecond in this state. She slowed her breaths and focused on counting the amount of time she exhaled. Finally, the Loup gave up her concentration method. It wasn’t doing any good. She watched as Alec struggled to move and winced sadly. The girl had forgotten how humans healed compared to her. Grace’s worries now only contained fear about the jagged wounds on his body. She wanted to help the pain go away, though there wasn’t much she could do. Grace wished that she could share her powers of healing to him, though she knew that much was impossible. The girl sighed in frustration before slowly making an attempt to grab/drag her purse toward Alec. She told him to hold still so she could see in the most cautious way possible in hopes he wouldn’t be terrified.
Her heart sank as his confused/dazed expression came in reply, and she wondered if she should just stay nearby watching out until someone he trusted came to help him. Grace knew what she was to hunters. She was a monster. For the first time, the girl was somewhat ashamed of how she was born, though it wasn’t something she really could’ve helped. Before she could step back however, Alec surprisingly obliged her request to stay still along with his soft explanation. She looked cautiously into his eyes in order to tell if he was lying and to her surprise once again, he was not. Immediately, she mentally scolded herself for being surprised in the first place. She never would have though Alec would ever try to hurt her. Then, his apology came over and Grace found herself frowning insistently. “No. I apologize for turning like that before warning you… I know it’s a lot to take it, but I too, promise I won’t ever hurt you.” she said in a soft murmur. She nodded to his explanation of how they got rid of it before it could hurt someone else, though evidence of earlier kills had been regretfully on it. She sighed at the thought of the poor people that lost their loved ones tonight.
After all this speech, Grace got to work. Hands more gentle and steady than a doctor could’ve achieved, the girl inspected the gruesome cut on Alec’s arm. She frowned a moment before grabbing the hem of her tank top and ripping it around till a thick strand came off. The fact of her stomach exposure didn’t bother her one bit really, and the girl reached for the water bottle in her backpack as well as the travel tissue pack she carried. Grace wet one of the tissues with the water bottle before gently sliding it across Alec’s oozing cut to clean it. She knew it would hurt somewhat, but she hoped he wouldn’t be wimpy about it. The boy’s question hit her hard and she froze thinking for a moment. Grace decided to leave the question unanswered until she could focus on it and she wiped away all the remains of blood on his arm. There laid a massive cut along it, the skin red hot around it. Grace winced and begun putting pressure with the ripped clothing so it would stop bleeding. She tied her makeshift bandage and sat back to admire her work before coming back to the question.
It took the girl a while and when she finally did respond, she had a very sad/almost about to cry look on her face. “Please don’t be weirded out okay? The reason I couldn’t just leave you there, is because I actually do like you. I’ve never actually really liked human guys, but you’re so different… I can’t even put it in words.” she said this bashfully, before a small tear slipped out. “And now, after this- I probably will never see you again.” the words held anger in them, sadness filling her eyes. Why did she have to find the perfect guy, only to lose him to the world’s prejudices forever? Grace nearly shook her head at her ridicule, she barely knew Alec, and yet she knew him too well. 903, outfit, aww...

Alec really did wonder why Grace hadn't ran away when she found out he was a hunter and could hurt her. She could have let the vampire eat him up and his teachers make a lesson out of him of why they should stay with in the boundaries of the school and are not to wander and sneak about. He had tried to assure Grace that he wasn't going to hurt her or kill her. Perhaps it is what other hunters would do, but she didn't prove to him to be dangerous and one on a murderous rampage. If she had been she would have just killed him and wouldn't be dragging her purse over and trying to help clean him up. He was grateful that she was trying to help him it was sweet of her and he had tried to say he was sorry for getting her caught up in this mess. He had been in real pain and winced a little every now and again he was indeed human and had taken a beaten and purposely cut himself to get the vampire off of Grace which his professors surely would think was heroic and stupid at the same time. It seemed like she had believed that he wouldn't hurt her and he was glad because he didn't want to and they can't make him. He has to trust his instincts right and she wasn't a threat in his book...
Even when she frowned it was adorable and cute to him and she had told him that she is sorry for turning without warning and that it is a lot to take in yes it is, but him being a hunter in training must be a lot for her to take in as well... “ You don't have to apologize for that, Grace.” she really didn't it is in her nature right? A defense mechanism to protect herself is to change when attacked he couldn't be mad at her for that. Sure it had been a shocker, but he can't be mad. She had told him that she wouldn't ever hurt him either and a small grin had spread threw the winces of pain as she said that. He was glad she wasn't intending on hurting him. He was glad they had stopped the threat of the vampire. It had been some good they did and they should be proud that they helped save some life. It was why he was doing this right? Well more so because this was the life his parents lived, but he couldn't sit around while innocent people died because a creature wanted a snack or just wanted to feel the thrill of the kill.
Grace had searched her purse for something to help clean him up and found tissues and water and began to clean up the blood. It stung a little and hurt to be touched, but he bit his lip so he wouldn't wince. It was painful, but he could handle it. He had gotten cuts and bruises before...this was a gash, but still he couldn't be wimpy now could he? It wasn't an option. He watched as Grace had ripped her shirt after inspecting the cut.. “ How bad is it?” he asked afraid to look knowing it was possible he could use some stitches, but going to the hospital was out of the question that was for damn sure. She was using her shirt as a makeshift band-aid and had been applying pressure to it to stop the bleeding which was smart.. “ Thank you.” he had murmured softly.
Grace had finally spoken about the question he had asked her about why she was helping him and didn't just leave him. She could have and had ample time to do so. He had sat there and looked at his now bandaged arm and then back up at her watching her face carefully as he listened to her response and couldn't help but chuckle a little at her telling him not to be weird... “ Okay.” he replied softly. She had explained to him that she liked him and she doesn't usually like human boys, but there was something about him that she couldn't put words on and it was a compliment to him and made him grin and sort of awe on the inside her words were sweat and swimming around his head making him blush a little, but she herself had that bashful look upon her face and it was sexy...a tear slid down her face and he had reached out to brush it away wincing a little as he moved, but he did so none the less. She had told him how she would probably never be allowed to see him again after this..
It was something he really hadn't thought about he knew he'd be in trouble. Would she too? A lot of people would think a friendship or anything beyond that with them wouldn't be possible because of the way this world worked and the differences of the their species him being human and her being a loup garoux. He didn't want her to cry it made his heart sink to see her cry and he felt bad thinking if she never met him and he wasn't so damn persistent for her to go to dinner with him that she wouldn't be feeling such pain right now. It mad him frown. “ Please don't cry.” he had said to her. “ I am sure we will see each other again. Where there is a will there is a way, they say.” he had told her trying to make her smile. He didn't want her to be sad. He was sure if they both wanted it badly enough they would see each other again and wouldn't let sometime like a little rift of species and prejudices rule their life forever... he didn't know what her family would do to her and he didn't know what sort of trouble he'd get into, but he was damn sure the trouble was well worth getting to know her tonight.
He had stroked her cheek where the tear had fallen. “ Don't fret, darling we will see each other again... I am a stubborn little shit that won't let something such as this stop us from seeing each other again.” he'd escape the academy again sometime... there was ways they could see each other he was sure of it...he didn't know if his words would reassure her or not. “Come here.” he said grabbing her arm and trying to get her to move closer to him so that he could give her a hug. She looked as if she really needed one with the emotions that were running high right now. He wouldn't let this stop them from getting to know each other better... and he tried to comfort her to make her feel better.... “ what do you think your family will say if they find out?” he asked. He was curious and didn't know if he really wanted to know the answer but he'd brave it just to see what she'd say and what she was thinking they do.
