A BRIEF CHARACTER DESCRIPTION
Jamie is the older sibling of a pair of twins ( his sister is a minute younger, yes) and he has always taken that role very seriously.
He was and still is a quiet, bookish boy, raised by doting, normal parents in a very normal world. His sister was and still is the complete opposite, but just as loved. She was the spitfire...the adventurer. Mac felt he had to drag her out of trouble constantly.
That trouble took a sharp turn when she began distancing her self from her shy twin in high school, and soon Jamie's sister began down the road of addiction; pot at first, then other things, and then everything.
All the while Jamie was dealing with his own inner turmoil, but has constantly pushed it deep down in order to deal with his needy sibling.
No longer children, the twins live on their own (together, of course) and James still deals with taking care of his sister. He has graduated college and gotten a job at an advertising agency, while his sister goes through job after job and rehab after rehab with no regard for Jamie's happiness or well being.
