It is toxic to demons like holy water is. It can be used, in stake form, to immobilize demon possessed humans while they are exorcised or the wood is burnt to produce a fragrant smoke for purifying and cleansing and to get rid of evil spirits, or bad luck. What is Holy Water? Holy water is water that is blessed by a priest by with solemn prayer to god to protect people from evil. What is Dead Man's Blood? It's a poison to vampires it slows them down and makes them sick and incapacitates them for a short period of time. What is Ectoplasm? A dense bio-energy that makes the materialisation of a ghost. What is EVP? It is also known as Electronic Voice Phenomena. A Soul that has escaped hell and has come to take human form and to terrorize the living and make the earth its playground of carnage and destruction. What are the demon races? Black Eyed Demons ( BED ) Red Eyed Demons (RED) Yellow Eyed Demons ( YED ) White Eyed Demons (WED) What is a devils trap? a symbol that immobilize and control demons, and limits the use of some demonic powers. These are used to detain demons and send them back to hell, and are also sometimes drawn in front of doors to deny access to the place or the room being protected. How can demons be killed? Demons can be killed by exorcising them and sending them back to hell. This however doesn't work on high ranking demons. If you can find the demons humanly remains who they were before they became a demon and salt and burn their remains then this will kill the demon in question as well. However, when the demon leaves, the host often dies of its injuries. Seeing Reapers - Like angels, demons can perceive entities that are invisible to human beings like Reapers. Can resurrect or heal people, but only if a deal is made. Upper-hierarchy powers: Mind control - Demons can influence and control the actions of human beings. Pyrokinesis Injury to humans by thought Destruction of objects with telekinesis and with the "Fiery White Light" Overpowering or possessing reapers Resurrecting people at will (very high ranking demons) What are some of the weakness that demons may possess? Holy Water will hinder some demons, but does not work on the higher ranking demons. Some Demons can not walk on consecrated ground. Some may not enter a church, but those high ranking can. Salt - Most cannot cross a line of salt and they feel intense pain when they come in contact with it. Hunters use it in shotguns to wound them. Super strength Speed Senses (smell, hearing) They had retractable second set of teeth What are their weaknesses? Sunlight - it doesn't kill them like it does in the movies just gives them like a really bad sun burn. Can take on another person's physical appearance and access the thoughts of any living person they mimic. Some can sometimes take on the appearance of someone they see (example the baby shifter in the show could turn into the baby on the diapers box) they can take on a deceased or fictional person's physical appearance, from pictures or from film. What are their weaknesses? Silver bullet or blade through the heart Iridium Decapitation. How do you become a shapeshifter? The ones in the supernatural verse are born the way that they are. They are human beings that can transform into a canine at anytime. They have advanced sense of smell. Both in canine form and human form. What are their weaknesses? Silver. It varies on the spirit really.. Some can possess you. Some can have telekenis, they can possess object they are connected too. Spirits that can move objects are generally refered to as Poltergeist. Some Spirits if powerful enought and pissed off enough can create ectoplasm. What are their weaknesses? Some Iron can make them go away, but not for long. Salting and burning their remains will cross them over. Why do Spirits stay on Earth? Unfinished business or maybe they are unwilling to move on to their next life. Their powers vary not all witches are bad witches, but those who gain their powers threw demon alliances are far more dangerous then those who have learned the craft threw the nature of good. To feed on your synovial fluid. What abilities do they have? They are strong and have the sharp teeth to feed on you.. What are their weaknesses? Fire can kill them , Killing the mother changeling will kill the children changelings instantly, to determine if someone is a changeling their true form can be shown in a mirror.
