The pair of them were so different, and it was true that no one ever made her feel the way Stuart did and she doubted anyone ever would, but Rollo had been the first person in six long years that made her feel anything at all. But right now, despite not wanting to hurt anyone, all she could do was let her eyes settle on Stu's lips, all she could think about was how much she longed to feel her lips upon those lips and how she missed laying in his arms. She thought about all the nights she laid awake staring at the empty space beside her and thinking about how much she just wanted him there, to fall asleep in his arms. She hated the thought that she walked away from her chance because she was too insecure to think he could want her. She hated that she wanted to kiss him and tell him she missed him when she felt she should be focusing on her son, but she was just itching to be closer to him again.

"I really did miss you." She wished she didn't so many times. Every day she had to convince herself not to think about it, if she did she would drive herself mad trying to work out what he was doing and if he was happy. All she'd ever wanted was for him and Noah to be happy. She'd done everything she could think to try and make it so and being under the impression he was still with his wife, she'd just prayed that she would see Noah's face and fall as completely in love with him as Delilah had. After all, leaving Noah's father was the second only to leaving him. She still fell asleep at night swearing she could smell him sometimes, she'd wake up hoping that the last 6 years had been a nightmare. They had, but she never woke up from it. She knew she had to meet Rollo at the beach the next day, she knew she looked a mess right now and she knew more than anything else she probably couldn't be trusted around Stuart, but she really didn't want to leave him... She already felt like she'd spent too long apart from him but she didn't for a second believe she deserved the love she received from him. Even now as she stood there, she believed he could do better and that he should, that he and Noah should have someone perfect in their lives. So much of what he just said to her didn't make sense it was unreal and the mention of Tula was enough to almost break her heart. The brief conversations she'd had with Paige since she left mainly consisted of 'Tula's gone into care'. She could never understand why Paige wouldn't just stay and be there for her, but at the same time, she had no place to judge her sisters actions after what she did.
